He quickly walked toward her and reached his arms out to hug her. She smiled and hugged back, pleased that it was someone she knew and not that scary man. She wondered if… maybe…
She pulled back and cupped the man's face.
"Sir Cayden James, you've come for me?"
"Yes," he smiled and she laughed, placing her head on his shoulders.
'Finally, brother. I will not hesitate this time. I will mark one.'
As she was thinking about how awesome this was, she heard other footsteps toward them. It slowed to a stop as the men looked at her for a moment. Wait… Were all those she had wanted to mark here?! Was this her brother's doing? Did the Sun God guided them to her?
"Miss Moon," Bruin spoke up nearing them, "Are you alright?"
"Mm," she pulled away from the hug with the doctor and smiled at the men, "What… What are you guys doing here? Oh! That man! Is he…?"
"Taken away. It's okay, you are fine now," Her hands were taken into Bruin's hands, "I am glad to see you again."
"H-Hey!" Benjamin frowned and quickly bear hugged the female, "I missed you, Miss Moon."
She laughed and wrapped her arms around him as well, "I miss you as well, Sir Benjamin."
"Wait!" Rei pouted, "I miss her more!" He wrapped his arms around Moon as well, "I've been doing what you asked, my Goddess. I will be worthy. I promise."
"I'm so happy. Well done," Moon cupped Rei's face and the young man's eyes sparkled with red cheeks.
"Miss… Moon," Ryton Yu spoke quietly, "You… Heh, I thought I would never see you again," he smiled before his hazel eyes widened, "You should leave. Sir Jason Meeks is here. I will not let him make you his mistress. Not this time."
Her eyes softened and she smiled, touching his arm.
"Thank you."
"Miss Moon," Daniels neared her, "I still have your dresses."
"Did you bring them?" Her eyes brightened and he found his eyes softening.
"I did not, but you are welcome anytime to grab them."
"I will! Thank you, Sir Daniels."
Her purple eyes turned to see Torrence and Charles, silently watching her. They offered a smile and she smiled back, happy to see them. Then she was being picked up and she quickly held onto strong shoulders.
"Moonie~" Eddrick grinned, "Finally! The wedding was so boring. Let's continue what we were doing before they tossed you out of my city."
"What?!" Rei furrowed his brows and the red eyed man grinned.
"We were in bed before coming here, weren't we, babe?"
"Yes…" She nodded because it was true, but she quickly add, "Not in that way! He was being inappropriate and was touching me."
"TOUCHING YOU!" Benjamin shouted and suddenly, she was behind every guy there like a barrier. She laughed and stuck out her tongue at the shameless leader.
Eddrick frowned and narrowed his eyes at the men before him. His red eyes moved to the female who was laughing at his predicament. His brows slowly furrowed as he started seeing some changes on the female.
"Ah, here you guys are. My sister is waiting, Bruin. She doesn't like to wa-"
Clete Jackson had stayed behind to calm down the people. He wanted to run and chase after Moon as well, but as the only son of the leader of Rosemount, he needed to do his job. The man with his bloody cheek stared at him dangerously. Even when his mother was telling the guards to take him to the cage, those black eyes were still narrowed at him.
That was fine. Clete Jackson narrowed his pink eyes right back.
Once people settled, he told his mother he'd go tell the others to return. So, heading out of the crowded stuffed place, he took a deep breath of the night air. He looked around and wondered where they had ran off too.
'Shouldn't they come back by now?'
A glow caught his eyes and he turned to see a bird so high in the air, it looked like a star in the sky. It moved toward the river, and he furrowed his green brows. Was it trying to tell him where to go? So, following the golden light, he saw the men he was looking for.
He thanked whatever the golden light was and jogged closer.
When he got close enough, he felt his breath was taken away.
The female he was looking at right now was…
"Moon Goddess," Clete whispered and immediately bowed to one knee.
"Sir Clete," Moon smiled and looked at her hair and saw her markings showing on her arm. She sighed and realized her power was wavering, barely holding on.
Only reason it was, was due to the full moon. Soon, she would need to return to sleep again. She didn't want to see the Sun God crying for her. She didn't want the world to be werewolf less, but there wasn't much she could do now.
"My Goddess," Torrence breathed out and immediately fell to his knees and bowed lowly to her.
Each men slowly dropped to a knee or both to bow to her. She smiled and although she should be happy, she also knew today might be the only day she had left.
"Sir Bruin, you should return. Your wife is waiting," she whispered.
"No," the blonde kept his head down, "I said if you were to show up, then it was fate. I would not marry her, Miss Moo- Moon Goddess."
The Moon Goddess looked at the moon and she looked at everyone bowing to her, even the shameless leader of Northham. If she were to chose from them, who would she pick to become her alpha? Would it be 1, 3, or all of them? She knew they love her, they cared for her, but will they hold up to the role she would place on them?
She had already gone through each candidate and she wasn't sure if it would work. Her very first alpha had no issues with his loyalty, love for her, or his use of her gift. He was perfect. Was it too much for these men to reach as well?
Maybe… comparing them to her first Alpha was not productive.
