Up the steps he went with people staring at him. Forced to his knees, he grunted when they slammed against the ground. His leader, one he looked up to, was staring at him with the deepest frown he had ever seen.

"Sir," that badmouthing guard began.

Everything Bruin saw him do, he was blaming it all on Bruin. The man even added some spiciness to the situation and the blonde warrior gritted his teeth. They were obvious lies and his leader should know that, but when the man finished the tale, his leader turned away from him.

"Bruin Huffman, turn in your sword."

"What?" The blonde warrior's eyes widened, "You don't believe I did those!"

"I don't know what to believe when it comes to you!" His leader shouted.

No one had ever heard the leader of Springcall shouting until this day.

"I believed you would do as I asked, as Springcall asked of you, but you didn't. You refused and lost face to this city, to me! You've failed us all."
