"Mm," the female nodded, "He was a little younger than you, was dating the miss, but his father had arranged the marriage as he had done with you. Of course, it didn't go through and the union failed as yours did."
Bruin sighed and rubbed his forehead. He looked at the female and felt guilty for all the times he had turned away when his former colleagues had harassed her. He felt stupid for not stepping in before meeting Moon. This was karma, it had to be. This was what he got for not stepping in when people were poking fun at and misusing those devoted to the Moon Goddess.
'Then I will make things right again,' he told himself.
"I apologize, Madame. You've gone through a lot and I never stepped in. I won't let it happen again. I promise."
"At least you got to see the injustice here now before I died," the old woman smirked, "I accept your apology."
He smiled and thanked her.
