Akira was checking through his system when suddenly he noticed a massive boost to his exp came from when he slew the monsters back at the exam. The amount of exp flung him up becoming more powerful.

"Well, things are making progress. Push myself harder and I'll become the strongest!" He was already so sure he could overpower the king of Celesta. But he still wondered, how strong was the king? Could the king truly meet his expectations as the world's strongest? A being known to be unreachable?

The king showed no relevant data, according to the story, but the rumors were that he was super strong. Story told, evidence lacked.

Boom!

"!"

A sudden attack in the city caused an explosion that grabbed Akira's attention. Akira could see it from afar; the explosion created smoke in sight. He quickly jumped out of the window from the 14th floor, and his fall made the pavement crack. Hurriedly, he rushed to the danger zone.

Monsters began rampaging through the city wreaked havoc and destruction; orcs, goblins, and their pets were the ones causing trouble and wrecking the place. Their face struck Akira as familiar to which he saw them before the rampage. Presumably, the ones he defeated had been planning this.

People armed with magic guarded the people from danger and assisted attack, their magic was peculiar, where one just conjured magic instantly but they did it with a rune. Donned in shiny armor, it was a knight-like army.

Akira joined them in battle and stood forward to assist them with a scythe in hand.

Surprised and shocked, a man shouted at Akira with a warning, "Hey, you! Get away from them! You're going to get yourself killed!" however, Akira seemed relaxed.

"Worry not, citizen! A warrior has come for yo-" His head was bashed with a club, instantly shattered all his brains and was strewn about.

Akira was only letting his guard down until the orc clobbered his head with a wooden club from behind and met his demise. His head exploded, his blood splattered, and his organs: Eyeballs and brain scattered.

Just like the man warned him, he didn't listen.

"Damn it, we couldn't save him!" It was too late for the man as he had witnessed unnecessary death because he wouldn't listen to them.

Continuing their attack, they marched their magics to prevent more casualties.

The orc passed over Akira's body, going after its next prey, not anticipating any unexpected ambush.

And in just a second, Akira slit the orc's throat and got decapitated instantly from Akira's scythe. Akira's shattered head regain its former form, regenerating almost instantly.

"That freaking hurts." Akira's eyes went from fooling around to serious. The stunned crowd was not prepared to witness Akira's sudden head regeneration, mistakenly thinking his death was an illusion to erase their attention and attack from behind.

Not only was he winced in pain, but also he was grateful that it had hit his head. If it were to aim for the clothes, there wouldn't be any spare left.

"Damn. Even with my high durability, my head was still smashed whole. What kind of logic was that!?" Akira had durability that potentially could easily hold against beasts' attacks, but despite that, just a giant club hitting his head would make him go headless. Until now he learned that even after achieving great heights, suppressing his power could still make him an ordinary person.

Akira's danger senses had been shut down lately because his surroundings were grave threats and had high, broadly spreading killing intent. Thankfully, his keen instincts were still functional.

This was due to danger sense being able to detect all the dangers without excluding anything, much like a radar for detecting imminent threats. Akira hadn't trained to specify what dangers he should prioritized.

The orc and the goblin now saw him as their impending doom, flabbergasted over how easily he eliminated their ally. They anxiously stared at him as the smiles and teeth on their faces disappeared, holding their weapons tight and raising their defenses.

Too stubborn and reckless, their instinct told them to kill off the threat before them. Blinded by their instinct, they charged at Akira with their weapons ready for the hit.

Akira just stood there nonchalantly, taking the opportunity to counterattack them.

The orc attempted to attack him but completely missed because of Akira's swiftness. With a spun from his body and the sharp blade of his scythe, he sliced off their groins like butter.

The remainder were apprehensive about fighting Akira, but that didn't stop them from eliminating the threat and they fearlessly charged forward with everything they had, hoping to turn the tables on him.

The goblin attempted to assault him and consume his flesh, but Akira anticipated this and his scythe pierced through the creature's mouth.

Corrected version:

The orc tried to creep up behind him, but Akira only stood there unfazed by how easily they were detected. Akira leaped, using the top of the orc's head to go over behind it and quickly finished it off by chopping off its head without a second's hesitation.

Akira successfully caused their doubts about their abilities in handling Akira, causing them to run for their lives while calling for reinforcements out of fear.

Akira pursued them and killed all of them. However, three managed to escape from Akira intentionally.

Akira showed them mercy, believing that they would relay the message to their group and refrain from causing trouble in the city again. His performance amazed the people around him who witnessed the fight and cheered for his victory.

But it didn't end there...

A red orc appeared before Akira, five times stronger than all the orcs and twice their size. It didn't scare him; just made him more excited and clench his teeth in anticipation of a challenge.

But that excitement was nothing but a clam with no pearls; his face showed disappointment as he easily sliced the red orc in half with one swing. As expected from a B-rank mission. This was B-rank, according to Akira. However, it was generally categorized as a D-rank. Akira had misheard the information that he was given and thought that B-rank was to fight monsters instead of difficulty.

Fighting monsters all around the city, cleaning up the mess, and trying to grow stronger didn't amuse Akira at all. Expectations were disappointing, making Akira fall into boredom. He was expecting stronger monsters in the city since the serpent incident back when he tried to get his system. Ever since monsters were spread out all over the country, he thought Celesta was the monsters' main target.

Right after that, the people thanked him for his help, applauding his victory. Akira was in a moment of silence as he stood out confused about where the warriors were. There were expected to be millions of them, but they weren't helping. He knew for a fact that dozens of warriors were occupied, but there had to be some of them who were at least available.

"That was amazing! On behalf of all people you saved, you have our thanks." A man stood to him, gave his gratitude on behalf of the people who were in the fight and survived from his help. Akira responded and with a friendly tone, "You're welcome." Though he wasn't given a reward, he was happy to help.

"You're one spectacular person, wanna join the Knights?" A man dressed in a knightly armor, offered Akira to join the "Knights". His offer was clearly clueless to Akira's status as a warrior, hence, he wore a regular outfit which misled him to believe he was only a random person with extraordinary talents.

"The knights?" Akira was clueless, never heard once about them. Not even from his village stories or his family did he hear about the "Knights".

Politely with a bow, Akira expressed his decision, "Sorry, I can't. Maybe next time."

The mess was over, people were saved and now there was one thing Akira wanted to do. Akira had been curious about going to the CD store he saw yesterday. Previously, he had no time to go to the CD store since he needed to quickly book in and organize all of his stuff in his rented place. Eventually with that clear intention, Akira passed through the door as he went inside the CD store. The inside of the CD store was nearly eye-catching, but he did see good animation CDs and the title of the anime.

"Zoro The Bizarre Explorer"

"Dragon Shippuden"

"Card vs Card"

"Life note"

and more of the CDs that attracted Akira's eyes.

(Note: This is nothing but a parody in the Immortal Akira series, please support the official release of the anime parodized: Jojo Bizarre Adventure, Dragon Balls, Naruto Shippuden, Death Note, Yu-Gi-Oh, and One Piece.)

Feeling careful with money, he didn't spend one at all. It was due to the nearly unaffordable Celesta's expenses in every shop. It was when he had to face such monstrosity: Taxes. Many shops were exorbitantly priced, up to hundreds and even thousands of Gols, excluding food.

A man beside him stood near him prior to Akira's entry, began talking to him with a friendly manner, "Hey! You're that guy who fought the orcs earlier, right? May I ask your name?" The man showed an amused expression, reacting to his late fights.

"It was a good one, not to mention your awesome scythe." Geeking like a fanboy, he also had his eyes on his scythe which had a unique primordial look.

The suspicion from the man asking for his name, greatly reminded him of Sora—but this version wasn't naked. Meanwhile, he was a rugged-looking man, likely in his forties. His long, messy black hair and beard were untamed, and he was clad in a coat, suggesting he might be outdoorsy or someone who prefers a more relaxed style.

"My name is Yamoru Shika. It's so nice to meet you!" Sparking with excitement, Yamoru introduced himself. Yamoru's attitude seemed fine from what Akira saw, suspicious was unneeded.

With a smile he greeted back, "My name is Akira Keita. Nice to meet you too, Yamoru."

"How was your fight back there? Was it easy?" The man inquired with his excitement steaming out of his nose, he was acting like a child. But, to point out, more like a fanboy or a fanman.

"Well, I'm not a boasting type of guy, but it was nothing. I've faced stronger ones." He lied. He wanted to boast, but he remembered that his main ability was not worth boasting about. Akira trusted his own main ability as remarkable because it had so many skills and they were all unique. However, Akira did feel odd about why it said immortality instead of just saying blood magic.

"Excellent!"

"(He's indeed unique alright. Yes yes yes... No doubt about it, his head was smashed and he survived the lethal attack. This is why I love new generations, full of surprises yet to come again!)" His heart voiced with excitement. Yamoru did clearly see his head was smashed, then shocked him with Akira's impressive regeneration.

"So, uhh, why you're here?" Akira with his head titled, questioned Yamoru's intention of being in the CD store. An obvious question it was, but his first impression was much of a stalker, so he had to ask.

"Oh, I was just about to purchase a CD, also by pure coincidence we met. Want one?" Yamoru answered while also offering him his CDs he just bought.

"No thanks," Akira pushed the CD away gently, rejecting the offer.

Upon rejecting the offer, Akira recalled something, "Oh yeah, do you know about the Knights? I wanna know what they are like." Akira wanted to clear off his mind after hearing about the "Knights". He wasn't told in his village stories and his family, nor even by Sora. "Mind sharing?"

"Ah... A simple request, allow me."

Knights were military forces that used magic in the same way that warriors did. But because some knights were just ordinary beings with no main abilities, they used enhancement magic to increase their chances of winning, and they used rune magic and mantras to cast out spells so that they could have a chance against long-distance enemies. Depicted as an army of magic with an old-fashioned way of fighting.

They had a share despisal for the soldiers both sharing a long history of seethed hate against eachother. Their leader, Arthur Scarlet, one of the eight members of the prestigious Scarlet family known to harbor such mysterious powers.

He was regarded as extremely ruthless and terrifying, feared amongst warriors and soldiers alike. Possessed with the main ability that had six divine personal weapons, granting him a power able to destroy the entire Celesta if he so desired.

Regardless, those who had systems may freely join them with an exception if they had joined the Warriors or the Soldiers.

Yamoru added another as a bonus to the information. Soldiers were military forces that were heavily reliant on technology, which was why the Knights despised them. Soldiers had advanced technologies that could help those who weren't warriors, so they could help the city. Depicted as the very contrast of the Knights, using a modern fashion way to fight.

Their leader was just a regular human, but a great tactician named Senku Leonardo, who could find and exploit everyone's weaknesses with his superior technologies and intelligence. He remarked him as the most smartest man, rivalling Arthur in his own way.

"And that's that. Despite having a long history, I don't think it'll be necessary to explain it more. I hope you learn something." Yamoru finished his explanation.

"So, it's like vegetable lovers and meat lovers?" Akira simplified his explanation with an unexpected yet a funny way to describe them.

"Couldn't explain it better myself." Yamoru nodded to the simplification while also knowing that Akira wasn't a bright guy, after all, the explanation with great detail was turned into vegetable lovers and meat lovers all of a sudden.

"I get it now! Thanks!" Although Akira could not summarize it any better. He only knew Soldiers were tech militaries and Knights were magical militaries. Akira could not hold such continuous information without a stop.

The explanation was over, the chat was over, Akira stepped out of the store until Yamoru curiously followed him.

"Umm... you're starting to act like a creep, following me around..." Akira stopped in his tracks, feeling uncomfortable.

Yamoru responded with unclear an reason, "Ah, don't mind me. I wanna see you fight!"

"What fight?" Akira was baffled that there were no enemies around, yet he anticipated that he would fight? "Huh? A fight?"

Suddenly, an arrow was fired directly at Yamoru. Reacted before it hit, Akira handled the arrow just in time. Yamoru was right on the money, a fight just started as he predicted. The arrow which was about to hit Yamoru, he didn't flinch nor surprised, he just stared blankly.

Akira saw lots of reinforcements coming from the road. Hundreds of goblins and orcs together hunted the human who threatened them and attempted to kill him, as if starting a war. Akira showed his teeth, expressing his excitement.

"Stay back, I got this!" Akira pushed Yamoru away gently and was ready to engage in battle.

Akira swooped in and swung his scythe with a plunging attack. With his heavy swing, hitting and destroying the whole ground, he killed 70 orcs in mere less than a second.

Moving at a speed faster than a bullet, he rotated his scythe and swung, killing hundreds in 3 seconds.

The orcs and the goblins underestimated his strength but still stood up to fight him, bravely facing their death.

3 minutes had passed, a facile victory for Akira. He massacred orcs and goblins and not a single orc or goblin was left

"Damn, the hell!? Why there are hundreds of them rampaging over the city? Are the guards of Celesta an idiot or lazy or something? They need to do their job better." Akira felt odd about the guards of Celesta who didn't do their jobs to protect Celesta. While also quite strange about the warriors that he heard about millions of them protecting each corner.

"So, the city of Celesta is the safest and has millions of warriors. And the city is still in danger?" Akira stated ironically that he didn't have the foggiest of clues about where the warriors were. "That statement is nothing but a load of crap..." Akira mused.

Celesta was always a busy city with many monsters around. Many warriors, soldiers, and knights were occupied and some were on break. The city was vast and that was why many monsters roam around unknowingly.

Impressed by his performance, Yamoru applauded, "For such a young age, you can already handle such a big task." Yamoru put a smile, seeing Akira's ability to handle daunting task.

"Yep, I trained a lot, sir. That's why." Akira smiled with complacency. Despite that, he did feel disappointed because of how easy it took him to finish them off.

Akira headed towards the mission room to find some new tasks for him, so, he waved goodbye and left.

Then the situation got even more stranger when the man transformed into a child.

"Amazing...I've never seen this kind of one, I need more of his performance! Huhuhu, I'm looking forward to what's next! Alright then, I'm sure I can appease him with a handful of workload, hopefully, he doesn't mind if its an A rank."

The man who promised a mission for him, disappeared out of thin air.
