For a car fine? Really?

"Good afternoon First Lieutenant Meeks, I have something to inform you."

Access to the office had always remained open. Although despite so, the lady consulting did not cross the door threshold but only knocked on its surface to draw the attention of the person owner of this room.

Finding himself working on some paperwork, Lenard Meeks raised his eyes from the unending reading and signing.

"Huh? Oh, hi Tina. What is it?"

He gestured upward with his palm pointing to the chair in front of him. From experience with this type of approach, he knows it won't something quick. So it was better to make the visitor feel comfortable.

"And also, why are you here on the base? I thought you were sent to deal with the issues at the schools."

Receiving the 'affirmative' instruction, the lady approached the desk, while avoiding any visual contact with the documents over it, looking at the man in the eyes… ups, eye.

Then she finally replied.
