-------------

The first problem was the people, it had become impossible for the family of three to leave the house without being swarmed on by a bunch of people. Most didn't mean wrong, but it was simply horrible for the family of three.

On the first few days after the UN Assembly, it was still manageable, people liked him because of his actions as Serenity and because of how he dared to show his opinion before the world, but after it was revealed and spread that he was the one behind the Miracle Day, streams of people came in front of their house everyday, and they probably would have tried entering were it not for the arrays in place.

Then, there was also Spyro, Edward couldn't just keep him into a Pokeball all day long, he was an intelligent living being after all, he had to be outside.

Finally, the lack of Chi had been bothering Edward ever since he came back, and it was time to find a solution.

So to solve all those problems, they decided to move out, and Edward took a somewhat drastic measure. He travelled through different dimensions in his Astral Form, and when he found one that could be inhabited, he tore off a huge chunk of it's space and took it with him.

Then, he created a pocket dimension using this chunk of space as the base, and built their new home here. It was quite the feat, and one might even say this bordered on the domain of divinity.

Actually, it was, because more than using his magic, Edward used his Concepts of Space, Earth, Air, Water and Fire to move the landmass and make it self sustaining. Of course, they were powered by magic to work, but it was still different from magic spells he used to fight.

Edward believed that when he reached a higher level in his Concepts, he would even be able of creation, instead of only manipulating what was around him, but he was far from that still.

Still, as he reached the Revolving Core Realm, Edward spent more and more time on his Concepts. His cultivation could barely advance from meditation anyway, and the other way to advance his cultivation needed him to absorb flames and souls, so Edward tried to focus on his Concepts.

It was tedious, but his understanding of his Concepts was getting better, and the range of what he could do with them was widening. What was most heavily impacted from his Concepts were his arrays, as a deeper understanding of the very nature of an element allowed him to imagine better functions to implement into runes. His spells also got more and more refined, meaning he had to expend less Chi for a greater result.

However, Edward could feel that he was wasting his Concepts' potential, his Spear Concept was the best example as he could really apply it in combat, it allowed him to form something he called Spear Aura, and his others Concepts lacked this application.

It didn't even necessarily have to be a combat application either, but he was still stuck in his researches, and so for now only used his other Concepts to supplement his magic.

Finally, for his last of problem of Chi density, Edward had taken a bunch of ores from Muspelheim, and used them as the cores of arrays to constantly emit more Chi.

Filling this dimension with Chi not only made Edward more comfortable, it also helped with everything else they had done here.

The family didn't want to live in a hiding place, and thus had made this dimension to their taste. First was the house they lived in, all three of them had participated in it's design, and they ended up with quite a beautiful house, not as big as one would expect.

Then, Edward created his very own farm, which included a garden where he planted his vegetables, and fields of crops. Everyday, Edward would take care of his farm, filling everything with Chi to boost their growth and their quality.

For Diana, she had several rooms all for herself to work with, with as much fabric as she wanted. As for Donna, Edward was proud to have somehow managed to connect this place to the Internet, and keep signal for their phones.

Although they had moved into this pocket dimension, Edward didn't want them to be cut off from the outside world either, so he did his best to connect them to it. They could leave anytime they wanted, and come back from anywhere they wanted.

Edward had created a rather simple teleportation array that would teleport anyone using said array to this dimension. He had hidden this rune deep within both Diana and Donna's bodies, so they now could activate it anytime they wanted, and no one could steal it from them.

As for friends, Edward had given them a material array printed onto a coin. This array was a bit different though as they couldn't enter anytime they wanted, Edward would have to agree to them entering.

Of course, it was also a great home for Spyro, here his size was not a problem, and he could fly around as much as he wanted, which was a lot. Just like a puppy that would run around constantly, Spyro constantly flew around.

Once off Spyro's back, everyone went to do their thing. Diana went to her designing room, Donna walked to the gym for some fighting against golems Edward had begrudgingly crafted, and Edward teleported into Kamar-Taj's New York Sanctum.

There, he was received by Strange. Seeing his tired face, Edward couldn't help but ask, "What's got into you mate?"

Stephen shook his head and replied, "Nothing. Thanks for coming."

Edward smiled and replied, "Of course I would, you're my friend. Show me the demon causing you trouble."

Stephen corked his hand to the side, and a portal appeared. On the other side was a mountain, and Strange said, "This is a beautiful place, one I like to go to to relax my mind. Unfortunately, the extra dimensional beings are getting more and more reckless."

Edward nodded slightly as he replied, "It's fine for now dealing with those problems individually, but if things continue being the way they are, soon the demons will get out of hand and it will become impossible to deal with. We need to find the source."

Stephen sighed, "I know that, but I can't find the source. The old man looks like he knows something, but he isn't saying anything."

Edward grunted as he walked into the portal, "Whatever, let's deal with this first."

As he arrived on the other side, Edward felt the wind was rather strong, too strong for him to be on Earth. The air felt great though, not only was it okay to breath for a human, it was free of any trace of pollution, and quite rich in Chi.

However, Edward could feel something in the surrounding wind, something he could only sense thanks to his Chi Sense. Extending his Yin Chi, he managed to grab on something invisible, and pulled it toward him.

A screeching sound sounded out as a creature appeared before Edward. However, it could not move, and it's body was quickly freezing. Edward took a good look at it before it turned into an ice statue, and he shattered it.

He came here because Strange had his little dimension plagued with invisible monsters that seemed to be able to turn into the wind, but it was for his own interest. Those were easy monsters to deal with, he would have told Stephen to deal with them on his own, he was just being lazy.

However, they interested Edward, those demons. The ability to turn into the wind was an interesting one, and understanding them may help him understand the Air Concept.

With his Chi Sense, Edward could feel 14 such demons in a 100 meters radius, and now that he had confirmed they were very weak, Edward weaved his fingers like a musician as he used his Space magic.

The demons, who were trying to hide in the wind, were all stuck in space suddenly as Edward locked them. Space magic really was his favourite, not only was it extremely powerful, it also was a very versatile and fun magic to use.

Now unable to move, the demons could do nothing as Edward brought them in front of him, and imprisoned them into Pokeballs. Then, the wind around Edward intensified as it picked him up, and Edward began flying around, catching some of the demons and killing the rest.

After about an hour, the small dimension was purged of the demons, and Edward had more than a hundred subjects to research. He would have considered it cruel if those weren't bloodthirsty demons infamously known for eating babies alive.

Yes, that was actually a thing, they are called Wind Howlers and they eat the babies of any race for some strange reason.

His job done, Edward told Strange about it before returning home, to his own workshop.

Taking out one of the Wind Howlers, Edward began analysing it, searching for how it managed to become the wind.

At first Edward thought it was simply turning invisible, lowering it's weight and manipulating the wind around it, but after some research he found the creatures to truly have the ability to turn into the wind.

It wasn't so much of a powerful ability because they could easily be forced out of their wind state by an external force, but it was still impressive.

After a few deaths, Edward finally managed to catch on something. It was very faint, but when the Wind Howlers died while in their wind state, they released a small amount of altered fragments of creation.

Capturing the small quantity of fragments, Edward began analysing the very magic itself. Then, he took out a Wind Howler, which was knocked out, and tried to infuse the altered magic onto it's hand.

And just like magic, well it was, the Wind Howler's hand turned into wind, which brought a smile to Edward's face. However, after a few seconds he realized something was wrong.

The Wind Howler could choose to turn into the wind, and turn back into their solid form, but this Wind Howler's hand had disappeared, it had truly turned into the wind, forever.

This meant he was missing something, but it was still good. He woke up the Wind Howler, who howled when it noticed it's missing hand and the crazy man who abducted it, and followed it's instincts, turning into the wind.

Unfortunately for it, that was exactly what Edward wanted, and he killed it as soon as it turned into the wind. He captured the altered magic, and continued his studying.

Edward was aware of the limits though, and made sure to remain as humane as possible while dealing with the creatures. There wasn't any real logical point in having mercy on those monsters, but Edward did not want to become one himself.

Killing his enemies and experimenting on them for his own sake was good, but making them suffer because of his own laziness was not.

Anyway, after an afternoon of experimenting, all 100 of the Wind Howlers had been used, and Edward had condensed an entire bottle worth of condensed altered magic.

While Edward still hadn't found the exact formula, it wasn't his goal in the first place. Instead, he had found that the altered magic came from within the Wind Howlers, they would secrete a strange substance that altered their bodies.

Then, they would release another substance to cancel the first one when they wanted to get back into their solid form.

Now that the product was extracted, Edward went to the second phase of his experimenting, and brought out a Wind Howler's body.

Then, Edward's soul left his own body to enter the dead Wind Howler's. It felt disgusting to be in another body, especially a dead one from another species, but Edward ignored this and poured a part of the altered magic onto the body he was possessing.
