Over A Break Up

It had been between 2-3 weeks since I've dated this guy (which I will not name), when I started dating a new guy. When he and I had broke up, it was a little rough. He was a bit attached and also just... off, there wasn't even too much to like about him. He told me how much he hated me and how he wished he never saw me again and what not.

Well I had been dating this guy for a week, when I get a text from my ex's sister. I see what she said, and she was replying to my Snapchat story of me and that current boyfriend. She was basically talking crap about me and how I got a new boyfriend.

I basically told her to shove it and leave me alone. She refused. She was obsessed. She felt the need to attack me on every way possible, to hurt me where it really hurt, and to just be a total jerk. She called me a "hoe", a "bitch", a "slut", and etc. It honestly hadn't fazed me as much, because I knew she was just a hater.

I talk to my best friend about what's going on and she tells me to let her talk to this girl. I was very hesitant, but then I decided to put them in a group chat. Worst mistake ever.

She starts off by roasting us both, then adds a few other people to the group chat, all of them now making fun of us. They called me a ghost because of my pale skin and called her a name of which I will not repeat, so I don't expose her.

My best friend then adds our other best friend who was our guy bestfriend, and he... he didn't hold back. He showed them the same energy back. It all wasn't so bad until one person took it as far as to threaten my life. He showed me a cruel picture of a brutally murdered person and told me that would be me. Of course, I was scared. How was I going to sleep that night? I had to leave at 6am the next morning for a competition that was a weekend trip.

They all fought and my boy best friend tried his best. I had left this group chat, crying. My friend then added in my friend that was like a brother to me. He would do anything for me. When he was told about everything, he was not happy at all. He was the one who made them shut up. There was silence from everyone in the group chat. I don't know what he said, but it made them quiet. I never heard from them since.
