Familiar story

"We live in a world where gods and goddesses dispose of our sins a world where wrong can be covered by right," continued Flora as the lights became dim.

A hologram suddenly appeared.

"We all heard the story of the goddess Lane," added Chung-Cha. "She came down to earth to observe the human life but suddenly got compelled by the beauty of our mistakes that she decided that she would devote her life to leading humans through the path of the underworld," she continued.

"But have you guess ever heard the true story passed down through only one generation, that Lane now known as the goddesses that lead to the path was once human. A human was smarter than others and prettier than most. Her beauty was known far and wide so far that even the gods heard about her beauty. Until one day Pelican, the god the gatekeeper or the god of the underworld and heaven heard of her beauty," said Chung-Cha as she waved her hands in the air creating beautiful dust particles.

"Pelican who was intrigued by Lane came down to earth just to meet her. After a few years, their bond grew until they created the fruit of their own. In the god world if a human consummated with a god it was considered a disgrace from not only the side of the gods but also from humans. Fearing the wrath of the gods on the day that Lane decided to leave Pelican made a pact with the god council that in return for him getting killed they would allow Lane to give birth to her child in the piece," added Chung-Cha as her hand stopped high in the air.

"After Pelican died none wanted to be in charge of the gates even though it came with a lot of respect none of teh lazy gods wanted to do it. This made the gods turn their heads to Lane. Pelican told her everything about the realm. Putting their pride aside the council made Lane the goddess that Leads the path in return they would erase all her sins" finished Flora she turned the lights back on making us groan.

I sat there frozen this was the same story that my mother would tell me every single night before I went to bed. The real question was how did it relate to me just as I was about to say something. The rest of the class was sleeping.

I looked around trying o find Chung-Cha and Flora but they were nowhere to be seen. I got up from my seat when I was abruptly stopped by a beautiful woman. Her face was covered by her long black hair. She was sitting on a throne. Next to her was a child.

What was going on what was this place who were these people? I turned around only to see my reflection sitting on the golden throne. A big golden crown sitting on my head. Is lowly walked to my reflection but it seemed as if it was getting farther and farther away. I started running after it when it suddenly stopped. I gently touched and suddenly found myself in the classroom.

I looked to my right to Chung-Cha and Flora looking at me weirdly.

"So basically one of us is her descendant," I asked as I stood up from my chair.

"How did you guess," Mocked Flora.

"I don't know maybe I'm way too smart for this class," I continued as I walked towards the door.

"Where are you going," Flora as a swarm of knives flew towards her as angry bees.

I turned around and shot a looked of cold look turning the room into an ice mess stopping the knives right in their tracks.

"If someone is looking for me you know where I am," I annoyingly said as I left the room.

I took a second to catch. I quickly closed my eyes. I decided to wear contacts today because my eyes were still red. Ever since this morning.

I hurriedly walked to the cafeteria to get something to drink I grabbed some coffee and headed to the playground.

I quietly sat down on one of the swings quietly sipping my drink.

I don't know today felt off from the way I started it to the way it's going. There was just something off about everything.

I looked up to the sound of children laughing. Among the crowd, she saw someone familiar, Seon-Jun.

What was she doing here? Just as I was about to leave someone stopped me.

"Did you skip class," asked the voice making me trend around.

"What about you Dae," I asked back with a smile.

"Classes are over so I decided to explore the place a little" she answered sitting down on the swings. Her gaze quickly followed.

'Do you know her,' she asked as I sat back down.

"Yeah, she's my sister," I answered as Dae gave me a popsicle.

"Wow, for you to be this quiet that means that you don't know do you," She said making me turn my head around.

"What do you mean?" I asked giving Dae my full attention.

"Nothing extra she just has teh highest kill rate of primary plus her dad is the number one hero right?" she asked making me laugh.

"Was that all you made me nervous," I hurriedly said opening my popsicle.

"Anyway did they move you, classes I didn't see you this morning," asked Dae with a little sadness in her eyes.

"Hm," answered with a sigh. "What did you do in your class," I asked looking at her.

"We practiced using our quirks. What about you?" she said.

"We heard a-" Just as I was about to finish my sentence the bell rang making us laugh.

We headed back inside and parted ways. I went back to the classroom and entered the room.

I sat down at my sit quietly looking out the window and enjoying my popsicle when I suddenly felt a presence making me uneasy.

I didn't bother looking back due to the familiarness of this presence.

"What do you want," I asked the figure creeping around the room.

"You know what I want," said a dark eerie voice as I shadow suddenly appeared in front of me diverting my attention to it.
