Chapter 11.3

Chapter 11.3

Looking around, she asked, "Where is this location?"

Upon arriving in a strange and foreboding world, Jun Mey noticed a shadow demonstrating a martial art technique. The first sequence resembled racing on a path, and the shadow explicitly displayed the subsequent stages that incorporated wind wings for protection and the utilization of wind. During the demonstration of the four Flowing Wing movements, Jun Mey had an insight and began to practice the first sequence, the Wind route. However, the practice caused her great pain as the technique forced her veins and energy channels to open.

Ring, ring, ring!

Jun Mey's phone ringing startled her awake. Looking at her phone, she grimaced and let out a faint grunt, realizing she already had ten missed calls.

'How long have I been away? Nuan Mei is probably worried,' Jun Mey pondered calmly.

She took up her ringing phone and answered it.

Answering the phone, Jun Mey heard a persuasive voice. "You're hiding, Jun Mey," he said, "but I already abducted your companion. If you don't come to the address I'll send you within the next hour, you'll be collecting her corpse."

Hearing that persuasive yet evil tone, Jun Mey realized who it was. However, she still asked, "Who are you?"

The voice interrupted, "That's not important. Go to the large woodland before the student residence."

{The large Woodland.}

Bai Fang tied Nuan Mei a few meters behind him and sat on a noble seat inside a makeshift shelter in the deep jungle. Outside the canopy, numerous Kâppas kept watch, their chartreuse eyes revealing their non-human identity. Several of them dispersed across the forest to monitor the surroundings. Despite Nuan Mei's diatribe inside the shelter, Bai Fang remained quiet and closed his eyes.

"Ugh," Nuan Mei groaned, "Why did you abduct me, you monster?"

Bai Fang remained deafeningly silent.

Nuan Mei shook herself again, kicking up dust with her legs. She said, "Hey, monster. I'll make sure you perish from lightning vengeance."

Bai Fang stressed and drawled his voice, "Retaliation by lightning?" Sneering at Nuan Mei, he added, "It's Jun Mey, your friend, that'll die and not me. Furthermore, you will join her soon enough."

Hearing him, Nuan Mei tried to struggle free, shouting, "How could you be so self-centered and unreasonable?" Seeing her effort nulled, she added, her eyes complex, "Is school authority still important in your eyes? Is it necessary to kill someone who does not accept you?"

Hearing Nuan Mei, Bai Fang laughed gleefully. "The law does not exist before me," he said, "I get anything I want no matter what I do." Bai Fang said, "I don't have the energy to speak to a corpse," snorting and closing his eyes.

{Another section of the forest.}

Chi An began packing his belongings to return home after training. He had trained enough, even though it didn't satisfy him. So, he would make do with that for now.

Packing up, Chi An muttered suddenly, "Why do I feel something bad is coming?" Shaking his head, Chi An mumbled, "Maybe it's a fluke." He marched forth, his luggage swinging behind him.

Thud-thud, Thud-thud, Thud-thud! Chi An's heart rate skyrocketed, causing him to clutch his chest in pain. His eyes closed tightly as his visage began to shapeshift into that of a vicious wolf, and he let out an unwitting howl. In a trance, he witnessed Jun Mey's death at the hands of an Omega, but the revelation caused him a headache. As he endured the pain, the sanguine eyes on his transformed face shone brightly.

In his pain, Chi An thought, 'What is this sensation?' He felt that Jun Mey had become a part of him somehow. He noticed he felt the same way when he first transformed. Chi An had learned that two people with the same fate and terrible past could form such an unbreakable relationship.

Thinking about this, Chi An mumbled painfully, "What is that chick up to again?"

In a matter of time, Chi An firmly decided his following action and dashed out.

{The large Woodland.}

While Chi An felt miserable pains, Jun Mey arrived at the address.

'So this is the location,' Jun Mey pondered, gazing at several Kâppas. They gathered before her, howling with delight.
