28. Acting Strange

Zach's eyes deepened when he saw Ann's action. For some reason, he wanted to continue walking forward and see more of her reaction. Even though she was supposed to be nothing more than a stranger in his life, he didn't feel that way.

There was warmth and also some strange feelings bubbling up within his heart.

"Ann!" Reynard called out. When he saw Zach stood close to Ann, his eyes widened and his mouth opened to the point that an egg definitely could fit. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The legendary Zach was actually staying not far from a young lady who was still in her teens. Looking at how Zach was not bothered by the close distance at all, Reynard began to think that the sun was rising from the west today.

Whenever one thought about their description of Zach, there were only several sentences that could describe him.

He was tall and had a cold expression in his face. Even though he was merely standing there, he seemed to be giving off imposing persona that waned off people from getting too close to him. At the same time, there was a wild aura around his body. it rejected everyone around him, making him also seemed like a wild wolf that couldn't be tamed by anyone. His sharp eyebrows looked slightly aggressive and could easily terrify weak hearted people.

"Brother Zach…" Reynard struggled to call out.

Zach nodded. He looked at the young lady and chose to take a step back. He didn't want to scare her on their first time meeting. "It's already late. Students shouldn't stay outside for a long time."

Reynard's mouth opened wide once more.

Since when did Zach was so caring about his whereabouts? He was very sure that in the past, Zach couldn't care less even when he was dumped into the pool by his father because he made the other party angry.

Now, it was only 8 PM and Zach was already worrying about his whereabouts?

Why did it sound so hard to believe?

"This…" Reynard looked at Ann, feeling conflicted. He had promised to take her to eat, but it ended up that he couldn't even treat her.

Ann looked at Zach and then to Reynard. "Buy me some soymilk tomorrow morning."

"Okay."

"Mr. Hein, we'll go back first."

Zach nodded his head. His eyes deepened as a purple hue formed at the bottom of his heart.

Even though Reynard was still a distance away from Zach, he still could see the other party's expression very clearly. When he saw that purple hue, his heart felt as if it had leaped to his throat.

He knew very well what it meant for Zach's eyes to turn purple.

His eyes landed on Ann with a complicated emotion.

Ann blinked her eyes. "Or do you want me to go home by myself? I can walk, but you need to point me the direction…"

"No! I'll take you back home!"

"Oh."

"Come on, my driver is not far from here." Reynard sounded in a hurry that Ann was confused why Reynard was acting like this. She didn't ask and only followed him without paying any attention to the other guests.

She looked so wild and unrestrained that one could definitely see it very well in her expression.

It was hard to hide.

"Mr. Hein." At this moment, Julius walked out of the hall. He had finished giving some instruction and returned right at the time when he saw Zach was acting so strange. Looking at how Zach was behaving, Julius had bad premonition.

But he didn't dare to say anything.

"Let's go inside."

Julius opened his mouth, wanting to ask Zach whether he realized that he was acting strange or not. However, he still treasured his life and didn't want to lose everything he had been working on all these years.

Thus, he kept silent.
