38. Meeting Again

Julius merely smiled and Reynard already felt that his world was cracking apart. Why did they all have to be in his house at the day he didn't want them to be here the most?

He felt like howling to the moon out of frustration.

"Who?" Ann asked when she saw that Reynard was crouching on the ground. She felt that his reaction was so exaggerated. Just who came that made him acted as if it was the end of the world?

"Someone whom I don't want to meet…."

"Is that so?" A cold voice sounded from the back and the atmosphere in the room immediately changed.

Even the mischievous smile on Julie's face disappeared when she heard the voice as she moved back a bit. Her posture was a bit more respectful.

Ann raised her head and saw the same young man was walking towards them. He was tall and had a cold expression in his face. Even though he was merely standing there, he seemed to be giving off imposing persona that waned off people from getting too close to him.

It seemed that he had just used the training room because his shirt was a bit wet and the upper buttons were open. A towel hung around his neck while he wiped his face and walked towards them in steady steps.

Even though he was a bit disheveled, this didn't reduce his charm in the slightest bit. In contrast, it looked seductive.

Zach lowered his dark eyes and looked at Ann. The corner of his lips curled up to form a smirk. "We meet again, Little Lass."

Ann stood there impassively. She looked so calm and composed in front of him as if she was not perturbed by his presence in the slightest bit. There was not even any ripple of emotion as she was staring back.

Her clear jade colored eyes reflected them back perfectly.

"Mr. Zach."

Zach nodded then turned to look at Reynard. "Are you planning on skipping your additional class again, Reynard?"

Reynard's face turned awful. Since when did Zach care for his study? In the past, Zach would never even remember that Reynard had some additional classes that he had to attend because his father wanted him to learn many things.

"I'm planning to learn martial arts with Ann."

"Martial arts?" Zach's eyes landed on Ann once more. This was not the first time he heard that Ann was capable to do martial arts since Reynard had told them yesterday. However, no one was listening to him properly because they felt that he was joking.

Now that Reynard brought Ann to his residence to practice, it seemed that what they said was the truth.

The information he gathered about Ann did report that she had some fights with her friends in her previous orphanage. They stated that she was a very stubborn girl who didn't hesitate to use her fist when it was necessary.

"Yeah. He insists for me to become his Master and taught him." Ann shrugged.

"Master, you're not going to go back on your words, right?" Reynard quickly turned around. He was worried that Ann would go back on her words and ended up not teaching him anything.

"I won't." Ann's lips twitched. She really wondered whether she looked that untrustworthy for Reynard to keep on asking the same question to him.

"That's good. I'll be going to the training room…"

"Reynard, you're not going before you do the test for the next class." Julie walked towards them and grabbed Reynard's collar.

"What are you doing? Release me!"

"If you want to skip the next class, finish the assignment first."

"No way! It's too difficult!"

"I'll help you."

"NOooooooooooooo!"

Seeing how the two siblings interacted, Ann felt that they were really noisy. It seemed that the house was always so lively with the two of them around.

"Miss Ann."
