42. Training (2)

He was too afraid.

"Yes, I think it's interesting."

Reynard: "…"

What was so interesting about his training? However, Reynard didn't voice this out and merely led them to his training room as per the request of Zach.

The training room was built in the second floor and actually took up so much space. The area was also equipped with so many advance equipment to prevent them from damaging the wall. Alright, forget about damaging, it was also designed to protect them when they got hit.

The material was rare.

"There's a mirror here." Ann looked at the large mirror in front of them. If she was not wrong, beyond this mirror should be another room, which might be the monitoring room for those who were training.

"Yes. it's used for us if we want to correct our mistakes." Reynard grinned.

"What should I do now?"

"Now? Defeat me."

"…Yes?"

"I need to know your level."

Reynard looked at Ann with nervousness. He knew very well that he would only be beaten up horribly if he tried to attack Ann. But seeing the solemn expression on Ann's face, Reynard knew very well that he couldn't run away from this predicament.

Lamenting his fate, Reynard kicked the ground and dashed towards Ann.

Bang!

With a swift movement, Ann threw him to the ground after catching his wrist. Her movement was so fast that Reynard felt that he was seeing the stars. He looked at Ann's face, which was not far from him.

"You're too slow and obvious in your movement." Ann looked at Reynard and released his arm. She retreated a few steps. "Again."

"Guh."

Reynard stood up and looked at Ann seriously before charging once more. This time, he tried to target Ann's leg.

Bang!

"Again."

Bang!

"Again."

Bang!

"Whoa, he's totally owned." Julie was amused when she saw her own younger brother was beaten so horribly. There was a grin on her face as she took out the biscuit from her pocket. She clicked her tongue. "If only there's popcorn here."

If Reynard knew that his own sister saw his misery as nothing more than amusement, he might have long asked whether she was truly his sister or not. It didn't look that way in the slightest bit for him.

At least, he felt that she was merely having fun with him.

Julius shook his head. "Reynard is not that bad. However, I didn't expect that the little girl can actually read all of his moves."

"Yeah?" Julie tilted her head.

"Does all the boys in the orphanage truly have such high level of skill?"

While Julie was confused why Julius asked that, Zach's eyes deepened. It did state that Ann was a troublemaker who loved to beat up the boys who dared to mess around with her. That would definitely explain why she was good at martial arts and could become a local tyrant.

However, it didn't explain why she was so good at it.

The boys in the orphanage should be at the lower level compared to Reynard.

'What a mysterious little girl.'

Zach's lips curled up to form an amused smile. However, he didn't try to do anything and merely watched everything as Reynard was beaten up so horribly.
