5. Breaking News.

-Second Day of Rift appearing-

Luke drowsily put on his t-shirt and sweatpants, he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.

He walked to the kitchen and grabbed an apple and started munching on that, he stayed awake very late.

Last night he wrote his plan to convince his family to leave the Earth.

...But the Visitors are needed for the plan.

But he can start to do few steps of the plan.

His plan is simple.

Get the Visitors free - She will take care of that, Luke is sure she can use her magic to do that.

The next step is to get Visitors to speak in News Station, this is the trickier part.

He was planning to spread the news about incoming black hole more effectively, like using the News Station.

...But he doesn't think any of the News Station members would be willing to spread a piece of news that can cause massive panic, especially when there is a chance of the black hole being fake.

...But the Rift is about 500km away, which means that it would take some time to arrive there, which means they can't waste a lot of time...

Luke sighed, he stood up and started making his way to the Living Room.

He saw the rest of the family gathered at the couch.

''What's up?'' Luke asked and walked to the couch.

''The so-called Visitors disappeared suddenly,'' Edward said, Luke widened his eyes and listened at the News broadcast and they indeed were talking about the sudden disappearance of the Visitors.

'She already saved them... That's fast...'

*Creak...*

Luke again heard a noise from the roof, his heart started beating faster... He knows that she is here.

He saw that his parents or Emma didn't hear anything.

He quietly started making his way over to his room.

He again climbed to his desk and opened the window, he grabbed the edge of the roof and pulled himself up.

He looked around the roof but saw no one.

He raised an eyebrow. 'Maybe I misheard it...'

...But then figures started to get more clear... He saw Aeriel sitting at the roof with the elderly Elf, Dwarf, Goblin, Nymph while the Giant and Centaur were in the backyard of their house.

He widened his eyes in shock.

Aeriel noticed him, she smiled sweetly which made butterflies fly around his stomach.

He saw the Elderly Elf raising his hand which made a slight bubble appear in the roof covering the roof in invisibility spell.

While the Giant and the Centaur used their own spells.

''Luke, this is Elves Representative Avery.'' Aeriel introduced.

Luke bowed. ''Nice to meet you.''

Avery chuckled. ''I see... you are her soulmate.''

Luke raised an eyebrow and was about to ask, but suddenly Aeriel smacked the old man's head.

''Oof!'' Avery screamed in pain, Aeriel leaned on his ear and started to whisper something.

...But Avery's face got very pale and only nodded.

*Cough*

Avery coughed and asked. ''Aeriel said that meeting with World Leaders would be a mistake, can you elaborate?'' He turned his head towards Aeriel.

'So her name is Aeriel.' Luke thought, she never told him her name.

...She was about to answer, but then Luke stepped in. ''Meeting with World Leaders would be a big mistake.''

Everyone turned their heads towards Luke and waited for him to continue.

''World Leaders won't listen to any of you, instead, they will capture you all instead, they wouldn't help you all to spread the warning, they will instead spread that the Apocalypse is false news.''

All of the Representatives got quiet.

...Until the Dwarf asked. ''Are you sure?''

''I am positive.''

''Then, what should we do?'' Avery asked.

''There is an easier way to do it,'' Luke said.

Representatives looked at him expectantly.

''We could use the News Station to spread the news, but I am not sure how, because they will not let us.''

Aeriel stood up and suggested. ''Nymphs could do slight Mind Magic on them.''

Luke nodded.

''Go to BBC News Station...'' Luke started saying his plan.

The Representatives will go to BBC News Station.

The Nymph will use Mind Magic and control the workers to set up a broadcast.

Then The Representatives will tell the whole warning, not all of the people believe the warning, but more will.

That was the plan Luke decided on last night, and now Luke has to make sure that his parents will see it.

Luke then saw all the Representatives leave with shocking speeds.

...But Aeriel didn't leave.

''Uhh?'' Luke raised an eyebrow

Aeriel with a sweet smile said. ''I want to meet your parents!''

''Why?!'' Luke exclaimed

'I want to meet my father-in-law and mother-in-law!' Aeriel thought with a slightly flushed face.

*Cough*

She coughed and said with a calm face. ''I might be able to help you convince them to leave earth behind.''

Luke thought for a moment and said. ''Alright, thanks.''

Aeriel smiled.

''Go to the front door, I will open the door for you,'' Luke said, Aeriel nodded and jumped off the roof.

Luke was about to ask if she was alright, but then he saw her floating in the air while gently dropping on the ground.

Luke watched with mouth agape, he shook his head and quickly made his way towards his room.

He entered his room through the window and started making his way downstairs and opened the door, where heavenly beauty was waiting.

Aeriel was about to walk inside... But then Luke quickly blocked the way.

Aeriel raised an eyebrow.

Luke pointed at her ears. ''Can you hide your ears somehow?''

''Ah, yes!'' Aeriel used her camouflage magic, she made her ears look similar to humans.

In Luke's opinion, her beauty diminished slightly, because he really liked how the pointy ears looked on her.

...But her beauty was still out of this world.

Luke was slightly dazed, he quickly woke up from his stupor, he led her inside with a slight smile and they made their way towards Living Room.

''Did someone com...'' Luke's mother Sara was about to ask, but then she saw a beauty next to Luke which made even her speechless.

Edward and Emma also looked with widened eyes.

''Nice to meet you, my name is Aeriel, I am Luke's friend.'' Aeriel gave a polite bow, fitting for a princess.

'How did she knew my name... I never told her did I?' Luke thought.

''A-Ah, y-yes...'' Sara stuttered with a slight blush.

Luke saw his entire family blush while talking with Aeriel, and he perfectly knows why.

Edward was literally drooling.

It's not an overstatement if Aeriel is called the most beautiful person on Earth right now.

Luke wryly smiled and walked towards the TV, he grabbed the TV Remoter and changed the channel to BBC.

He wasn't sure how long it takes the Representatives to take over the News Station, but with their magic, it will be like child's play.

Aeriel told him that everyone in the New World has a thing called Mana Core, it will allow everyone there to utilize their own kind of magic, no one has similar magic, but there can be some similarities.

Luke was quite saddened because humans can't use magic, but it is given because humans weren't born with mana core...

But he had another thought...

Apparently, the World Tree in the New World gives every baby their own mana core.

What if, the humans who will be born there... Get's the blessing of World Tree, which allows them to use magic.

But Luke's generation and the older and younger generation, can't use magic no matter what they do.

In Luke's opinion in the future, the ones who can't use magic might be isolated from other humans who can use magic.

Which could lead to very dire situations if even humans start fighting each other.

Since the things, he heard about Aeriel, how the humans acted there... He wouldn't be surprised if humans are treated as enemies there...

Luke got his second chance from Aeriel.

And he will be eternally grateful.

But, the journey in the New World will be tough without magic.

Not sure can human's even use their knowledge of technology in any way.

Because the environment is completely unknown, even the materials there are completely unknown.

...But now he remembered that Aeriel said something about prophecy... Prophecy of what... Bring humans together? Maybe, but why would it be him.

He was brought with his thoughts because suddenly a Breaking News started showing on the TV.

The sound alarmed everyone in the house, they looked at the TV.

Luke's family widened their eyes because the Visitors appeared on the TV.

Avery started speaking about an incoming black hole, which will consume the Earth, that's why with human technology, they didn't find out yet.

Then Avery mentioned magic, they found out by Prophecy Magic that the Earth will be destroyed and that some unknown Entity, will connect Earth and the New World for 5 days because that is the limit that the Entity can do.

...But only the mentioning of Magic made many interested in going to the New World, some still didn't believe.. But the News Broadcast definitely helped.

Soon afterward, the World Leaders started their Press Conference, but Luke closed the TV, because everything they say, is bullshit.

Luke saw his family being very thoughtful.

''I think we should go.'' Luke started the conversation.

Sara and Edward looked thoughtful, but then Edward shook his head. ''It could be dangerous, especially for Emma.''

''Trying to gamble our lives would be even more dangerous, there is a 50/50 chance of a black hole appearing, do you want to count on it?'' Luke sharply answered.

''B-but what if it is a trap?'' Sara asked.

Luke sighed. ''Trap for what? I am sure that about 90% will stay on earth, if they tried to lessen the population of Earth and then Conquer the earth with this tactic, it would be completely useless.'' Luke took a deep breath and continued. ''And Especially with the so-called Magic, if they wanted to do something to us, even with our guns and nuke's, I doubt we can actually win.''

Sara and Edward thought very deeply because it is about their lives that they are gambling on.

Emma then asked Aeriel. ''What about your family Aeriel?''

Sara and Edward turned their heads and looked at her.

''My family will be going,'' Aeriel said, she tried to convince Luke's family to go with slight lies.

Luke saw that his parents' faces started turning more thoughtful, they needed one more push.

''I will go with Aeriel's family,'' Luke said.

''What!'' Edward and Sara exclaimed.

Luke nodded. ''I hope that you decide to go as well.''

Sara and Edward looked at him deeply, then they looked at Emma.

They really don't want to gamble their lives.

...But going to Rift seems a better possibility.

''Alright... We will go...''
