Chapter 57...New ways

Jack kept moving forward with his life, trying to cover up the effects of what happened to him the prior week. All the while trying to become stronger, he had finally started progressing on his sync rate, and now he suspected that he would be reaching sync rate of 50 in half the time he previously expected, it was good, provided he might have to face Abomination and the hulk.

His school life was going great, having not one but two nerdy friends who were just like him, if not smarter than him, that was a blessing in disguise. He had been having constant battles of intelligence with his friends now and then and it opened up his perspective.

Along with his two nerdy friends, he had made another friend, it was Anthony Howard Stark, or Tony Stark for short, after the contract was signed and Tony was personally able to experience the effects of the Potions, he was grateful to Jack and respected him after Jack told him how the Potion was made.

It wasn't hard since Jack just had to spout some magical rubbish, especially when Tony found out that the materials needed for the potions were scarce and required Gold coins to be purchased.

He had a newfound respect for Cedric, and they became good friends, Although Tony was cured of poisoning, the effect of palladium was still present and would keep causing his body to be poisoned, so Stark was still looking for a cure and would often ask Cedric on his opinion, which led to him talking with Stark about his knowledge on The fields of science and now Cedric aka Jack was working with Jack now and then.

It was all good and well until things started getting complicated when Stark also wanted to meet Blitz and have some kind of party, hero party.

Jack would always try to change the subject and for the time being, it was working, he only hoped that Stark wouldn't touch on the matter too much, they even went on some patrols every-so-often to chill and catch criminals, this caused immense fear among the street thugs.

Tony would often ask Cedric to try and imbue his magic into The Ironman suits to see if they work but it would always go boom, the system would stop working, so that was still a big NO.

"Hey, you wanna go with me to the Monaco Grand Prix, maybe we could fly on your magical carpet." - Tony invited Jack who was having a drink while working on schematics for His Blitz character, it was time the guy got an upgrade.

"Hah! you want to be seen with me?, I don't know how that would turn out for ya." told Jack as he didn't wanna ruin Starks reputation further than it already was.

The world was already putting a lot of pressure on him for keeping the suit to himself and then giving one to a vigilante for fun. It might not seem like much but giving a suit to Rhodes and an unidentified Vigilante whose identity had no confirmation was a big no.

"Relax, I am chill, you shouldn't be taking so much tension at your age." - joked Tony as he patted Jack, looking over his shoulder at the Gauntlet Schematics he was working on.

"What's the Gauntlet for?" - asked Tony, to which Jack replied

"It's For Blitz, he gets hurt when he uses more energy than needed, ends up hurting himself."

"Hmmm, well, if you equip him with this, he might as well turn into a party popper." - Tony scooched over and started rearranging the gauntlet until it was half its size.

"There, now he can use his power without going kaboom, though only a few times so don't overdo it." - Tony said as he showed Jack the schematics.

Jack couldn't help but be happy to be Tony's friend, the guy had the mind of a God, the design Tony just presented was something that would have taken Jack at least two weeks to make.

"Now, since you are all freed up, let's go to the Grand Prix race, Meet me at my place and be ready with a flying carpet" - Joked Tony as he started working on his Iron Man Armor again.

Jack shrugged and decided to go around for a patrol before calling it.

He went to his magical warehouse and entered the Danger room, turned into Midoriya and started training his quirk.

He had taken a roundabout approach to his quirk since he was slow in trying to adapt his body to 30 per cent One for All, he decided to train his control to the point that his power wouldn't hurt him,

Jack wanted to form his way of controlling the Quirk, and he felt that he was closer than ever. Just a little more push and he would be able to have a giant leap in power

He was currently at 18 per cent of One for All without hurting himself. With every bit of increase in his power, he felt he was getting closer to the end.

It was just like how he power levelled his Cedric by going above the requirement, Fake it till you make it.
