Chapter 297 Good and Bad News
As Jack looked for the signature of the lizard man, he couldn't help but become frustrated at the actions of the lizard, known by the Andrew Garfield version as Dr.Connors.
The chakra signature of Dr.Connors was surrounded by many smaller chakra signatures that seemed similar to him in the sense that they were also like him.
"Guys! I have a bad news and a good news," Jack said as he and the other spiders tensed as they focused their attention on him.
"What is it?" Asked Toby.
"Don't tell me he succeeded, Oh my God!" Andrew said as he felt frustrated, the face of a dying captain Stacy flashed before his eyes,
The others also felt his emotions, Tony patted him on the back as he reassured him in a soothing tone, the spider seemed to be doing the job of a big brother for the other two.
"What's the good news?" Peter asked as he looked at the magician guy in front of him, He felt like Jack was in the literal sense a 'Jack of all trades.'
"Finally! Someone asking the right question, The good news is that they are all huddled together in the sewer system of New York right now, Particularly the hell kitchen area, and the fact that I have this," Jack said as he pulled out some canisters from out of nowhere, surprising the three as they looked at it.
"Is that tear gas? Although it's an ingenious idea, I don't think the lizard will be stopped by this," Toby asked as he eyed the canister that looked like tear gas canister.
"Fools! This is not some simple tear gas, it's a cure for the lizard problem, but in smoke form, as soon as those lizards inhale the smoke, they will be forced to become humans."
"Cool!" The main Peter admired as he looked at the small canisters the size of his hands.
Jack didn't make them wait any longer as he pulled open a portal over the Hell's Kitchen area.
"Let's all look for the lizards from different ends as we will end up running into each other anyway," Andrew said as he quickly jumped through and swung away.
"How about you, Peter from this universe." Asked Jack as he wondered the kid would choose, He really wanted to know how a Peter that has been nearly forced to the edge do under such condition, does he become more crueler than usual or if he stays true to his morals and stays a hero.
Toby also walked through followed by Jack who nearly floated on empty air as he walked above the clouds,
"Let's see how long it takes for them to find the green dude," Jack whispered as he watched the others swung away towards their target destinations.

Dr.Connors POV
"Come my people! We shall have the world understand our brilliance, let them come to their senses and be reborn under one banner, A world without weakness, a world without disease, Where no one has to leave behind a child" The lizard spoke as his fierce eyes showed an expression of sadness, perhaps the previous human self was still fighting inside.
"Roaaaaaaaar!" Countless lizards roared in unison as they displayed their feelings, countless lizards ran behind Connors, Ready to head out towards his ideals.
Just as Connors reached the intersection and looked up at the manhole, a weird feeling that he was all too familiar with arose within his head.
Sensing danger, he dodged to the side as a shadow of a fast-moving person wearing an all too familiar red and blue struck past him, flying into his minions before they were struck back, Falling upon each other.
"Ya missed me! Connors," Andrew Spider asked in his quirky voice as he dodged a minion's claws, Punching him with power as the poor lizard got punched onto the wall.
"Ssspider-Man! I will bath my minions in your blood,"
"Have a blast is all I can say!" Andrew yelled back as he tried his best to evade the minions while Connors stayed far from Peter, his mind giving danger signals as he watched the enemy he has bested so many times.
"No one can stop me now! I am the future, I am the evolution," Connor yelled as he fought against his beastial instincts and kept at Andrew Peter.
Taking a swipe at him, though unlike predicted by him, his nemesis took out a canister and let Connor smash it apart,
Quickly a green smoke filled the place....
