Damnon
After Liv stormed away of the scene Tania created, I sat there looking at Tania who didn't seem happy. She wasn't a very happy person generally since she got angry pretty easily.
" What is it you want from her Damnon?" She asked me as she glared. I smiled softly at her not giving her the response she required from me. I could see she was already getting more angry that she was.
" Damnon-"
" Tania," I cut in. "I think you should see a therapist or may be go to an anger management professional to fix you." I told her making her clench her fists tightly.
" Fix me?" She gritted her teeth.
" I don't care what you think. About me or Liv or anyone I hung out with. So am leaving." I told her with a bored expression on my face.
" I know, you want something from her. Damnon I can feel that desperate need you have when you want something...and am going to find out what it is you want." She threatened. I smiled and sped off. Leaving Tania standing there glaring back at my car asif she could burn it with her gaze. I smiled at her expression printed on the rear mirror.
When I reached the club, most of the people were dancing to the loud music. The noise was deafening but luckily it only stayed inside these walls. I felt heavy after a heavy day so I joined them to realize some steam.
I partied along with them for a few minutes but then I remembered I had a company to ran tomorrow morning. so I headed of to bed early. I prepared for myself something small before entering my cozy bed. My room was silent proof too so all the noise stopped at my door step.
The woods were so cold that night, I could see the foggy breath coming from but I didn't feel the effect of the chilly night on my bare skin as I chased the girl infront of me. She was the last one standing and I had to take care of her. I could have easily jumped ahead of her and finished what I wanted to do but then where is the fun in that. The noise coming from her were enticing and I liked hearing the fear behind it.
" Please, stop. Am begging you don't do this." I heard her cry as she ran ahead of me. She heard an angelic voice even though it was filled with fear. " Please" I could hear her pretty well but I didn't care. That's enough fan for me.
I tackle her to the ground but she didn't give up yet. She still wanted to ran. She struggles for dear life and she tries to push me off of her. I just lay there on her, putting my weight on her and watched her futile attempt to escape from me.
When I finally turn her around to face me, the first thing I noticed were those icy blue eyes. Staring back at me. Pleading with me. Tears rolling to the side of her face as she weakly tried to push me off.
Ring ring......
" Argh" I groaned at that annoying sound. I quickly turned it off. I felt good at the silence back in the room. I closed my eyes trying hard to get back to sleep and continue from where I stopped but nothing came. Tomorrow am not putting that alarm.
For some weird reason I was noticing every single detail about what happened that unfortunate night. This time I had no much guilt brewing in me or disgust for my actions. Instead it was curiosity, anxiousness to see how the entire event takes place. It was less of a nightmare by 20%.
Later, I enter the Beauty building with a gentle smile on my face. Day 2 of me spending with Liv. Now that we were friends. I was one step into finding out if she recalled what transpired that fateful night.
" Morning Trish." I greeted the receptionist at the lobby and she smiled at me.
" Morning, Damnon" she replied with the same smile on her lips. Trish was lady in her late thirties and she was a hospitable person. Even her smile showed it.
I walked to the elevator and pressed the button for it to open. I stood for a few seconds before feeling Tania's presence close by.
" Morning Damnon." Tania who came in and walked straight up to where I stood greeted me in a polite tone. She wanted something and I wasn't giving it to her.
" Morning" I replied. Ding. the elevator door opened. We both walked in and stood quietly. we both put in the floors we were to stop on and remained silent. The doors closed and we were both stood quiet listening to the soothing music the elevator offered. She wasn't here with Liv. Where was Liv?
" Ain't you going to ask me where Liv dearest is?" She asked. And I sighed inside me. She turned to face me but I didn't return the favor.
" Have a great day, Tania." I said to her and immediately the doors opened with a ding sound. It was her floor and she had to get out. She huffed at me and walked out. The doors closed once again and soon I was in my office. Away from Tania.
I passed the office said to be Liv's but she wasn't there too.
when Sabastian walked into the office a few minutes after me. He didn't seem rare. Just calm as always.
" morning Damnon" he greeted me.
" morning, so what do we have to do today." I asked.
" nothing that requires alot of movement. Just working on some files that have been sent to your email already." He said and made himself comfortable on the chair infront of the desk.
" have you dropped Liv off to work yet?" I asked as I turned on the laptop. Trying to cover the interest I had in finding out about her presence in the building. As much as I didn't want to admit it. Tania's words kept ringing in my head since I didn't see Liv in her office.
" yes she is at the warehouse with Sheila working on the Miss Crona order." Sabastian replied calmly. Good she is here.
The day was dull. I didn't get a chance to be with Liv. I worked on the files Sabastian sent me. He helped me out every now and then. I had my lunch in my office. I even had a zoom meeting on short notice with some Japanese clients. Lucky for me, I knew the language so I didn't have the need to get a translator on short notice.
