liv
At the airport, I felt sleepy because I was woken up too early to set off for the journey. I sat at the waiting area waiting for Damnon to arrive. The flight was to take off at 4:30 and it was already 4;10 and the man was no where to be seen.
Sabastian had left me alone at the airport saying he had to get back home to prepare for the day since the company was to be left in his hands.
"Chips?" I manly voice asked. The owner of the voice sat next to me prompting me to look at him. I looked the bag of chips and then at the guy.
Oh jeez, it was the guy from yesterday. I sat there staring at the gorgeous man offering me some potato chips from the small chips bag which was already half eaten.
" Isn't it too early for chips?" I found my voice which came out huskier than expected. He must think I have a terrible voice.
He smiled . " not for me."
" Am Liam" he introduced himself. He picked one chip and ate it making a crunchy sound.
" Liv" I said and I didn't add the other name intentionally.
"Leave? How rude to chase a man with good intentions" he said cunningly
" No, my name is Liv" I slowly pronounced my name
" Ohh! Sorry" he apologized and I could feel his awkward situation.
" So what are you doing here?" I asked as I tried to make conversation while waiting for Damnon.
" Am here to fly" he replied as his moved his hand to gesture flying and chewed a chip. " So where's this beautiful lady heading to?" He asked in a flirty tone.
" That's right. Am going on a business trip" I said smiling, my voice getting better by the minute. And the silence crawled in after that.
" Coffee?" He asked again after some time. offering his cup. " It will help you stay awake." He added a smile that I couldn't say no to. His teeth that were arranged in a sexy manner made his smile luring.
" Thanks" I took the cup and took a sip from it. Where was this man when I was still single.
Time went by as I sipped the coffee and Liam chewed his chips making that tempting sound.
" Can I have some chips?" I asked finally breaking. I really wanted to taste it. Liam made it look so delicious as he ate.
" I was waiting for when you would crack" he smirked showing those perfect teeth. There was just something about his smile.
He offered me the rest of the chips which I gladly took.
" Are you going alone?" He asked
" No, am actually going with a colleague of mine." I replied smiling. Where was Damnon?
Just then my phone beeped. I picked it up and saw a message from Damnon.
Sorry, Liv. Something came up. You will have to head there alone. Someone will pick you up at the airport and I will meet you there- Damnon.
How was I supposed to be in Japan alone? The guy's don't even speak English!
" Is something wrong?" Liam asked with a concerned expression. I guess my face sold my distress after reading Damnon's message.
" Nothing really" I said and the speakers went on calling to the last people to board the plane before take off, the plane to Japan.
This was just great.
I already had my passport and plane ticket at hand so all I had to do was get in line, reach there and look for the person receiving me. It won't be hard, right.
" You don't look happy though, it has to be the message" he pointed out. " Did someone die?" He asked
" no, of course not." I replied
" So what's the matter?" He asked
" Is it your colleague?" Jackpot!
" He isn't coming, something came up" I opened up to him
" I don't see why your upset there"
He said. " Do you like him?" A mischievous smile came on his face
" No! it's nothing like that." I denied " I am just worried I might get lost being my first time in the place am going to" I explained
" Oh, great" he sighed of relief.
" What?" So unbelievably
" No, I mean.... Great you don't like him, it means I get to have a chance to convince you." He said confidently. " Where are you heading to? I might be heading there too" he added
" Liam am married." I told him to see him furrow his brows.
" Well that's a bummer!" He said jokingly asif what I said wasn't a big deal.
"My plane almost ready to leave, it was nice meeting you." I smiled at him one last time and rose up from my seat. I carefully walked away with my small bag at hand. Liam didn't stop me anyway.
As much as Liam was cute and hot. I was married, even if it was to a man way older than me, he deserves my loyalty. So until death do us part, I am going to be a good and faithful wife.
In no time, I was seated in the plane in the first class section. The air hostess was asking everyone to put on their seat belts as the plane was about to take off.
