Chapter 70

Feeling devastated, Elaine walked in the rain, tears not stopping to flow. "Why are you torturing me like this" Elaine said in her heart. Nick chased after Elaine and he pulled Elaine into his arms "I'm sorry Elaine, please listen to my explanation first" Nick said. Elaine pushes Nick away and she cries "Nick, I'm tired of you, when I see you sleeping with another women it makes my heart lose faith in you" Elaine said.

Nick held Elaine's shoulder "Elaine, I'm willing to do anything as long as you trust me again, don't push me out of your life" He said while crying. Elaine looked at Nick "Do you think we can be together again" Elaine asked. Nick nodded "We definitely can" Nick said many times. Elaine backed away

"I'm sorry Nick, I don't dare to be with you again, starting today, I don't want to see you in my life again, if you come to see me, I'll be gone from here forever" Elaine said and left . Nick sat on the street, with the heavy rain, Nick screaming and crying when he felt Elaine really about to leave him, Nick hitting his body relentlessly.

When Elaine got home, she saw Darren waiting there, Elaine walking towards the Elevator. Darren held Elaine's hand "Elaine, aren't you okay, Nick shouldn't have treated you like that" Darren said with a sad face. Elaine pushed Darren's hand away and she looked at Darren's face "All your plans have worked out Darren, but the only thing I want to say is, even if I'm not with Nick, I won't come back to you even if I die" She said rudely.

Darren was shocked by Elaine's confession "What are you trying to say, you are accusing me of doing all that" Darren said.

Elaine looked at Darren who still didn't want to admit "What happened at university did you forget, I know all your crazy things, I didn't think you were that cruel to me, I thought you had quit but no, now you hear well, if I know you're trying to ruin Nick's life and hurt him, I'll put you in jail myself "Elaine said threateningly.

Elaine went into the elevator. Darren was silent and surprised when Elaine already knew everything. "Elaine, you're willing to fight me for Nick's sake" Darren said with hatred to Nick.

Nick locked in a dark room, Fu pei and Leon knock on the door "Nick, if you keep locked up and give in, it means you are following all the evil plans of the person who persecuted you" Leon said. Nick opened the door and came out, Fu pei and Leon were shocked to see Nick's body was full of wounds and red "Why is your body like this" Fu Pei asked.

With a pale face, Nick looked at himself at the mirror "Elaine said she felt disgusting with me, so I tried to clean and wash my body many times" Nick said. Leon and Fu Pei shook their heads worriedly. Leon pulled Fu Pei away a little from Nick "I want you to accompany Nick at his house for a few days, because I want to see Elaine, I hope Elaine will trusts us" Leon said. Fu pei nodded. Leon came out of Nick's house.

In the studio, Elaine was daydreaming a lot, Elaine turned away when Kiki called her "Boss, there's a guy named Leon, he wants to meet you now" She said. Elaine nodded and left her office. Elaine and Leon entered the coffee shop and sat down, "If you came because you wanted to talk about Nick, I'm sorry I didn't want to hear anything" Elaine said.

Leon handed the memory card to Elaine "I want you to judge Nick yourself by looking at something in the memory card" Leon said. Slowly Elaine taking the card and putting it into the bag. "Elaine, I know you actually trust Nick but is it Darren that made you hurt Nick so many times" Leon asked. Elaine looked in the window and saw people passing by.

At Nick's house, they both enter "You must be wondering why Nick's house is like your dream house, in fact this house is for you, Nick changes according to your taste" Leon said. Elaine was shocked to hear it. Leon opens the door in a room "Please come in" Ask Leon.

Elaine came in and she saw so many women's items like high heels, dress and jewelry "All of this" Elaine said. "All this is yours, Since you left Nick, he always bought something for you and he said he wants you to live life like other women who can afford to wear beautiful clothes" Leon said.
