Chapter 71

At home, Elaine opens the tv and pokes a memory card into the tv and she sits on the floor. Elaine saw Nick record a video for her "Hi Elaine, today I have remodeled this house as you wish, and I have made you a special space for you to put women's stuff, I'm waiting for you to come home" Nick said as he pointed around the house. Elaine smiled and laughed when she saw all the videos,

When Elaine stood up and wanted to pull out the memory card, she was shocked to see another video appear. Nick expressed everything about his mistakes when adolescence and expressed longing and love, then tears of joy fell on Elaine's cheeks "Now I trust you" Elaine said. Then, Elaine picks up her old memory card and looks back on when they being couple at university.

In the morning, Elaine woke up when her phone rang, Elaine picked up the call "Hello Su Yang" Elaine said. Elaine was shocked and quickly changed clothes and left her house. In the hospital, Nick is weak and has a high fever, Fu Pei and Leon approach Nick "You deliberately went to hurt yourself, you are Nick, rich man, good looking and wise now not" Angry Fu pei. Elaine smiled outside when listening, and slowly she went inside.

Leon and Fu pei go out of there when they see Elaine. Nick was surprised to see Elaine in front of him. Elaine pretended to make an angry expression and she looked at Nick. Slowly Elaine walked over to Nick and sat on the bed, "Why are you torturing yourself, you want to make me feel guilty" Elaine said as she looked at Nick.

Nick shook his head "No, all this hurts because I myself don't take good care" Nick said quickly. Elaine touched Nick's face and hugged Nick "I'm sorry for hurting your heart and making you wait so long for my return" Elaine said. Nick seemed to disbelieve, he hugged Elaine tightly "Elaine don't leave me again" Nick said while crying. Elaine nodded.

The sound of coughing behind them, stopped Elaine and Nick from hugging "Sorry this is a hospital and not a house" Fu Pei said. "Why are you bothering them both" Leon was angry to Fu Pei. Elaine laughed a little and she stood up, Nick quickly held Elaine's hand "Where do you want to go" Nick asked. Elaine looked at Nick "I'm not going anywhere, I just want to make a work call outside, I'll come back later" Elaine said softly. Nick nodded and let go of Elaine's hand. Elaine walked out.

"Finally you two can be reunited" Leon said. "Yes, but I still can't believe it, I'm afraid this is a dream or Elaine did good to me before she left me" Nick said expressing the worry in his heart. Leon and Fu pei out of the hospital. Elaine went into the room and saw only Nick there "Where else, Elaine asked.

"They go home because they didn't want to disturb us "Nick said. Elaine smiled and sat up in bed. Elaine could see the concern on Nick's face" You still can't believe I'm in front of your eyes now" Said Elaine. Nick nodded. Elaine kissed Nick's forehead and hugged Nick" I'm really by your side, I won't leave you again and I hugged you because I woke up too early, I guess sleepy, want to sleep" Elaine said and closed her eyes and slept on Nick's chest. After a few days in the hospital, Nick returned home. He opened the door of the house and entered with Su Yang. Su Yang put the suitcase aside and left. Nick saw Elaine was cooking and he ran towards Elaine and hugged her from behind "I miss you so much" Nick said. Elaine smiled and stroked Nick's hair "If you miss it, why not call me" Elaine said.

Elaine put the ladle aside and turned off the fire. She pulled Nick's hand away and sat down on the couch. "You work, I don't want to bother" Nick said. Elaine leaned on Nick's shoulder "I'm busy with work and tired, and today you can already go home, so I want to cook for you myself" Elaine said. Nick smiled and kissed Elaine's forehead "Sorry, Now you rest and let me serve all the food" Nick said and went to the kitchen.

Elaine turned toward the kitchen and laid her head down as she looked at Nick. Elaine sat next to Nick "Woah, serve quickly" Elaine said. Nick poured the milk into a glass and handed it to Elaine "It's fast, the person is cooking is you and not me" Nick said. Elaine drank milk and she quickly stopped drinking when she saw the color of the water "What is this water" Elaine said. "Milk," Nick said.

Elaine hurried to the kitchen and vomited the milk that was in her mouth. Nick quickly held Elaine's hair back "What wrong" Nick asked worriedly. Elaine gargled and wiped her mouth with a tissue, "Nothing, I'm okay" Elaine said and returned to the dining table. "Are you really okay" Nick said again. Elaine shook her head and they continue to eat.

Elaine woke up in the morning with pain in her stomach. "This must because of the milk" Elaine said. Elaine tried to stand up to take the medicine but she couldn't stand the pain and she lay on the floor. Nick woke up when he heard Elaine's voice. He came out of the room and walked towards Elaine's room and knocked "Elaine, are you okay, I heard your voice from my room" Nick said. after so long,

Nick felt worried in his heart that Elaine hadn't opened the door. Nick opened the door and was surprised to see Elaine lying in pain on the floor "Elaine, what happen" Nick asked. Nick lifted Elaine onto the bed "I'm okay, later my pain will go away, let me lie down for a while" Elaine said.
