Chapter 72

Nick faithfully accompanied Elaine on the couch "You go to work, I'm okay now, after this I want to go home and go to the office" Elaine said while correcting her position. Nick held Elaine's hand and looked at Elaine "Why didn't you tell me you can't drink milk" He said worriedly. Elaine held Nick's cheek "Now you know, after all yesterday was a mistakes, after this you can stay awake" She said softly.

Nick nodded "I want to throw all the milk in the refrigerator" He said and stood up. Elaine in a panic hold Nick's hand "Hahaha ... Nick, the milk even though I don't drink it but you can drink it, and milk is good for health, save it" Elaine said with a small laugh. Nick sighed "All right" He said.

At home, Darren tore up a picture of Elaine with Nick in the hospital "Elaine, you really challenged my patience, you belong to me alone, why don't you give me a chance at all" He said and angry. Darren walked towards the room and opened the door, then he saw a boy holding a knife towards him and smiling

"Kill Nick, then Elaine will be ours forever, just like the freedom we got when we were little" The boy said and disappeared. Darren smiled wickedly "Yeah you're right, if Nick isn't there, Elaine will come back to us" He said and opened the drawer and picked up the gun.

In the office, Darren was busy working and the sound of someone knocking on the door alerted him "Enter" He said. Alisa came in carrying water "Boss this is the water" She said and wanted to leave. Darren called Alisa "Alisa wait first, I actually have something to discuss with you, please sit down" He said. Alisa sat down.

"Elaine and I are not good talk, I want you to help me, even though we have broken up but the friendship is still there, do you have a plan" Darren said with a sad expression.

Alisa felt sorry to see Darren "Okay I'll help you" Alisa said. Darren smiled and slowly he held Alisa's hand "Thank you Alisa, I know you will do anything for me" He said. Alisa felt embarrassed and happy when Darren was gentle and romantic towards her.

Elaine picked up the call from her brother "Elaine, there are guests now waiting for you at your house" An Sheng said. Elaine felt strange and she nodded understandingly. "Kiki, I'll go home first" She said and left. Kiki came out of the store room and saw that her boss was out. "I want to tell the boss that the goods have arrived, it's okay i can wait and send to her house" She said while looking at the small box on her desk.

Elaine walked into the elevator and walked towards her house. Elaine's legs stopped when she saw shape body of someone she missed "Mother" Elaine said happily and she ran and hug her tightly. An Sheng and the others smiled. "Mom, why not you call Elaine, later i can pick up you at the bus station" She said. Elaine's mother smiled "An Sheng told me that you were busy with work, so Mrs. Gu told An Sheng to take us" She said while looking at An Sheng. "Let's go in," Elaine said. Elaine and Natasha are in the kitchen preparing food while An Sheng chats with Elaine's mother.

"Thank you An Sheng for being willing to accept and treat Elaine like a member of your own family, aunt feels calm now" She said. An Sheng poured coffee into Elaine's mother's cup "Actually we have to thank aunt for allowing Elaine to appear in our lives, with her, our family became cheerful and lively especially my parents" He said politely.

Elaine's mother nodded. "Talk about what, want to hear too" Elaine said while bringing food to the dining table. "Secret" Said An Sheng. Elaine's mother laughed when she saw the fight between the two siblings.

At night, Elaine slept with her mother and sister, "Sister, tomorrow i wants to walk in the mall" Natasha said. Elaine hugged her Mom "Okay, tomorrow you can buy whatever you want" Elaine said. Elaine's mother held the hands of her two children. "Mother is old, i doesn't like to walk like young people like you two, mother will just rest at home" She said.

"If mom comes out, maybe we can get a new dad" Natasha said naughtily. Elaine laughed. Elaine's mother shook her head "I'm only married once in my life" She said and went to sleep. Elaine and Natasha went to bed too.

Elaine and Natasha get ready and get out of the house. Elaine was shocked to see Nick was waiting for her outside the building. In a panic, Elaine stopped in front of Natasha "Sister forgot to take the car keys, can you please take it" Elaine said. Natasha nodded and got into the elevator.

Elaine let out a sigh of relief and she walked towards Nick "Hi Elaine, let's go eat" Nick said. Elaine pulled Nick away to the wall of the building at the flower area on the side. "My family is at my house, so this week, we can't see each other for a while" Elaine said. Nick hugged Elaine's waist and pulled Elaine's body close to his "Okay, I'll follow but you have to reward me to make up for the time we can't be together" Nick said.

Elaine looked around and she whispered in Nick's ear "My sister will probably be slow down because of looking for the car keys so now is the only time for us" She said. Nick smiled. Slowly Elaine put her hand on Nick's shoulder and they kissed.

At the mall, Elaine took her sister shopping. Natasha tried on the shoes "Sister, bring Darren's brother to see us later" She said. Elaine felt weird when Darren's name was called "What do you mean" She said. Natasha looked at her sister like confused and she pulled her sister to sit next her "A few days ago, Brother Darren came to the village and told us that sister with him had been in love for quite some time, and he told us that sister with him was getting married, one village already knew about this "said Natasha and she tried on another pair of shoes.

Elaine held the anger in her heart "What did mom say" Elaine asked. Natasha gave the shoes to the seller "Mother said if you didn't say anything, we wouldn't ask anything and it's not that easy for mother to accept the marriage of your and Darren's brother, but if you tell mother, she will believe" Said Natasha. Elaine let out a sigh of relief "It's good Mom thinks like that, let's go home" Elaine said. Natasha picked up the shoe and walked out of the store.
