It was a normal day with the hallways of the castle filled with joy and overwork by all the maids and servants. No one would complain about their shifts, about their work or the people they were assigned to work with and that was such a relief for the Emperor. No one was ever against the rules or even His Majesty's words and this was one of the most beautiful atmosphere anyone could work in.
As the busy bees were filling each corner of the castle, somewhere in a corner on the Imperial floor, the Emperor was having the morning meeting with no one else but the royal family.
"Alaster and Ares, please pay attention to what your father will say now." as His Majesty kneeled in front of them, he grabbed their small hands and looked at them with a smile on his face. "Today the Royal Family of Abasaba will pay us a visit. Please look after Amelia with caution since she is far younger than you and more vulnerable. They will be accompanied by the crown prince and the second prince so please make sure to keep Amelia at reach."
The boys understood their father's words and proceeded to nod as an approval. The bond between the Emperor and his twin sons, was unbreakable. You could see from far how their eyes sparkle whenever their father looked their way. When the coronation had place at such a young age, the Emperor chose not one, but both to be crowned as the SUNS of the Empire, the twin stars.
No one could say no to his choice and everyone bowed happily in approval. Both sons were no older than 15 while their sister Amelia just turned 10.
"Father, we will make sure to not lose her from our sight so please stay at peace." said Alaster with a calm voice, as he took the tea pot and poured in one of the cups.
As their conversation kept going on, the door guard announced someone's presence, which made them turn their heads towards the doors.
"I announce the presence of The 1st Princess, her Highness Amelia D'Astrella Veirnned." the doors opened fully and through them would walk down the big chambers, a small girl with long rose hair. Her dress was of a light blue colour, marked with beautiful flower designs. The original meterial of the dress, had on top a transparent white veil that covered the flowers design slightly. Her hair was soft and lower back length with small sparkle pins in it.
Entering the room with slow steps at first, the speed of her walk changed as she saw her father. Running with her arms opened, the girl could only shout once; "Father!" before getting to jump in his arms. The giggles could be heard from the corridors and the smiles could be seen from outside the window. "Look at you growing day by day to be even more prettier, our Amelia."
The boys got up from the sofa and walked towards their father, ready to fight over who's going to hold Amelia next. As the boys were laughing at Amelia's face expressions, another announcement was made by the Royal Guard.
"The King of Abasaba has arrived and his presence would like to be heard by His Majesty! Make way for the star of Abasaba!!"
The Emperor put Amelia down gently and nodded towards the doors which opened instantly. The King walks inside accompanied by his newly yet to be Queen and his two sons.
"Your Majesty Rowel, long time no see. How has everything been?" the King approached with a smile on his face.
"King Trofeer, I indeed missed our coffee meetings. Please, come and take a sit. Mariette, please bring some tea and sweets."
The maid bowed down and took her leave, followed by other two women. Amelia grabbed her father's leg and slightly took some peaks at the people that just sat down. All the room was crowded now with different faces that she did not meet day by day. As she holds onto her father's leg, a lady in a sparkly red dress approached and leaned forward to pick her up .
"Look at this pretty one. Hello there!" she said.
Amelia stepped back until she bumped into her brothers, knowing that now she is safe. Alaster picked her up and patted her head gently.
"Don't worry Amelia, we are here with you." he whispered.
----------
As the conversation started and went from politics to travel issues, from staff shortage to crown matters, it stopped to family subjects.
"So your Majesty, let me introduce to you the Royal Family of Abasaba." he said as he stood up. Holding the lady's hand, he introduced her to the Emperor. "This is Anette Von'Loui the newly Queen of Abasaba."
"Happy to meet you, your Highness." she bowed.
Grabbing their hands gently, the King brought in front of the Emperor the two boys; the "frail" and the "blessed". "Your Highness this is the Crown Prince, Naveen Von'Loui and the second prince Cassarius Von'Loui. My sons are very grateful to have the chance to meet the neighbour Empire ruler but mostly, my dear friend."
The atmosphere was calm and happy until some hints did not add up. The boys were different from age and did not live up to their status or name. The Crown Prince was way too young and the second looked older, which of course gave him a question mark.
"Well let me introduce you to The Suns of the Empire and the crown holders, Alaster and Ares my oldest ones and to the 1st Princess, Amelia D'Astrella Veirnned. I hope our bloodline will be in good terms even after our passing after."
They both agreed on his statement and continued the conversation as the kids sat there quietly. Amelia's eyes kept wondering around the room, until she met the golden eyes of the white haired boy, that sat on the chair alone, pretty far from his brother which was embraced by the Queen. She smiled and giggled softly seeing his face. The boy had no reaction but only some red cheeks.
------------
Sitting there on the sofa, the Queen noticed the Princess's eyes being focused on Cassarius, which gave her some chills all over her spine. Why him when the Crown Prince is literally there? Is it because he is younger? or because he looks boring? Whatever the reason was, it kept bothering her and she had to do something about it.
Since they will be here for three days, the Queen already made her mind on whatever distraction she would like to have while spending time there and one of them on her list was to get those light blue eyes stuck on her son.
