Christmas was around the corner but the Hamsterly pack wasn't in the merry mood at all. As a matter of fact, they were running night shift patrols to avoid those boulder guys from getting into their turf. All of them were waiting for Eric and Brody to bring out a plan from the information that they got on their recon mission. Last nigh while Kent and Brian were on patrol, they found a brown haired wolf slip past all their security and get within striking distance of the Gatwick's house. He walked closer to the house and proceeded beyond the tree line and looked into the house before getting caught by Kent. As the scout tried to turn back, Brin was quick to latch on to him and engage him in battle. The others in the house woke up to the sounds of snarls and barks of wolves fighting. They came out and saw the the enemy wolf slip out of Brian's grip and run home. Eric instructed Brian to trail him while Kent should guard the house.

"Things have been super tensed around here lately. I just want all this to die down" Keisha said with a sigh as she landed on the couch like a bag of cement that was tossed.
"Yh, wolf conflicts are fatal and I just want to get back to patrolling the forests normally without having to look out for someone that might want to end my life" Connor replied with his headset and microphone on his head. He was playing a nice game of call of duty on his laptop.
"Yh. Wow, no wonder they call you the tactician, those are some fine use of tactics" William said enthusiastically as he rested on the head of the sofa Connor played his game on.
"Well, as long as I get to knock some heads, I'm fine" Brian said before taking a huge bite out of his baloney sandwich.
"You just want to beat someone up" Keisha answered the muscular seventeen year old.
"Well you know me" Brian responded cheekily before taking a seat next to his brother and watching him game.
"I knew this is where we would find you guys" Kent said as he walked into the room with Mary and Ethan. Apparently the three of them had formed a bond with eachother just like William and his friends. Though they were all part of the same pack, there were tight social bonds formed within certain members. The three were usually found hanging out together just like the hotheaded four. Although they had their own bonds, they still hung out together once in a while.
"Yep. What's up guys?" William asked as he shook their hands.
"Nothing much. We had nothing to do so we decided to hang with you guys. We are all part of the pack after all" Mary said before flopping on the couch.
"Good point. Well, we're all here watching Connor play call of duty on his laptop" Brian answered as he finished his sandwich with one last bite.
"Hmm. You have warzone right?" Ethan asked Connor.
"Yh I do, Why'd you ask?" Connor replied.
"Well, why don't you switch out of campaign mode and move to warzone so we can kick some ass" Ethan exclaimed witb enthusiasm. Although he was older than Brian with a year and the others with two, he could still behave like a kid and go out of his usual mature behaviour.
"I only have one extra pad though" Connor said.
"Oh, I have two pads. You're not the only gamer ya know" William said as he bolted to his room and rushed through his bag to find his two Xbox pads packed next to eachother. He got them out and rushed back to the living room.
"Got em" William stated with a huge smile on his face.
"You guys knock yourselves out, I'm more of a FIFA guy" Kent added as he relaxed on his chair folding his arms.
"My man!" Brian said happily as he stood up to do a fist bump with him.
"Oh I've got FIFA on my system. It's on my bed if you wanna use it" William added.
"Cool. I'll just drop my dish in the sink" Brian said as he exited the room.
"Yes I shall play FIFA again" Kent said with a wide grin.
"Well since it's only two of you playing FIFA, you could use the smaller TV upstairs while we use the one down here" Connor suggested getting his HDMI cable out of his bag and walking towards the TV to connect it.
"Good idea, I'll go tell Brian" Kent said as he rushed to catch Brian upstairs.
"Well since you guys are getting into the mood for your games I guess I'll go take some shots in the woods" Keisha said as she got up from her seat.
"I'll come with" Mary added as she followed her out. As Connor, Ethan and William got ready to start playing, Wills phone rang, it was Brian.
"What's up Rammstone?" William asked confused cuz why would he call he was just a few feet away.
"Password" Rammstone stated.
"Oh, it's 2315126" William replied. Brian typed in the numbers and got into his computer.
"Thanks bruv" Brian said.
"No problem bruv" William said before ending the call.

"So where we going?" Mary asked as the two walked through the snow transformed into their werewolf states.
"Well, I'm still looking for the place to take a picture cuz this place looks beautiful in winter" Keisha replied with her camera in her jaws.
"Yh it sure does" Mary replied as she raised her head to admire her surroundings.
"I wanted to ask, why do they call you hunter?" Mary asked curiously.
"Oh that. The name stuck after I was able to pull of twenty successful hunts in a row" Hunter replied with pride in her voice.
"Wow, that must've been some streak" Mary answered amazed at the tally.
"Yh it was but William is now my top contender. He's two kills away from matching up to my record" Keisha stated with a straight plain tone.
"Hmm, I never knew he hunts a lot like that. I only knew that he and Connor were the only two members of the tracking unit" Mary replied surprised.
"Yh, the warrior, hunting and tracking teams need more members cuz the scouting team is stacked" Keisha responded as they continued their walk through the forest.
"Yh" Mary said. The two walked for a little while before reaching an elevation that oversaw the plains. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
"We're here" Keisha said as the two turned back to humans.
"The view is amazing. You just want to sit here and admire the view forever" Mary said with her eyes fixed into the beautiful sight of the plain.
"Yep. Let me look for a nice spot to start taking my pics" Keisha commented as she walked through the snow.
"While you do that, ima go grab a quick deer meal and be right back" Mary stated.
"Okay, see you soon" Keisha said to Mary as she transformed and ran back into the woods.
Unknowingly to them, they had attracted the attention of two boulder pack members that were on recon duty.

It's been two hours since the boys had heard from the girls. The house was basically empty with the elders out to prepare for Christmas tomorrow. Thanks two Connor's tactics, they were able to win three battle royals reinforcing his nickname as the tactician.
"It's been awfully quiet without the girls around. I'll give them a call" William said before picking up his phone and Calling Keisha's number.
"Damn, she left her phone in the house. I sure hope Mary didn't" Will hoped after hearing Keisha's phone ring in the house.
"Not her too" William said frustrated after hearing Mary's phone also ring.
"I just hope they're okay" Will said under his voice as he went back to his game. The boys continued to game before bad news broke from Mary.
"Guys,....Keisha's missing" Mary said panting. All the boys dropped their pads and looked at her in disbelief.
"You gotta be kidding me. Keisha, missing?" Connor said sarcastically.
"Yes, I went back to where she was taking her pics and I just found her Camera on the floor" Mary said nervously.
"Alright, let's go investigate. Connor, get Brian and Kent down here. Mary lead us to Keisha's last known location" William said authoritatively. As he was the only beta on ground, he assumed the position of leading them.
The six of them moved out to the elevation Keisha was last seen. As soon as they arrived, William and Connor picked up to the boulder pack's scent that they had gotten used to over the past couple of days and they saw wolf tracks next to Keisha's camera.
"What do you make of it?" Kent asked William as he was now like their leader.
"I don't know but as far as I'm concerned, the boulder pack kidnapped Keisha and judging by those drops of blood, she didn't go down without a fight. Connor, drop her camera back at home and meet us at the rocky hill border. We're getting our hunter back" William said with an assuring voice.
The group split up with Connor taking Keisha's camera back to the house so that it won't get frozen over and headed over to rocky hill that the two packs shared.
"Well from the recon mission we conducted a few days ago, it'll be faster for us to through the east side but the risk of us getting spotted from the eastern side is higher than from the west as it has a lot of bushes and trees to conceal out movements but it would be harder to move through" William explained to the other five.
"So it's your call guys cuz either way I'm comfortable" William added.
"Well just because you're faster than us it'll be easier for you either way but not for us. But, we don't need to worry about speed, we just need to get in and out keeping the element of surpriseand get Hunter back so I guess we'll go with the forest path" Connor decided as he was their tactician.
"Does he speak for all of you?" William asked as he was replied by a unanimous nod by the others.
"Good, keep in mind that they're expecting us so just be cautious. Now let's move out" William warned as he gave a short howl to lift the spirit of the others and galvanise them.
They ran through the border and unto boulder turf and moved efficiently through the forest avoiding wolves on patrol to make it deeper into their side of the forest. They found Keisha tied to a tree being guarded by four werewolves.
"What's the plan LW?" Ethan asked.
"Mary, Connor cause a distraction that would make them run in your direction and Kent would take them out while Brian, Ethan and I would take on the two guards and try to take them down as quietly as possible. Then you guys would meet up with us here as we've untied Keisha, mouthed her to my back and we'd take off from here before they sound the alarm" William explained.
"So what next after they've sounded the alarm?" Mary asked curiously.
"Well we'll know when we get to that point. As for now, stick with what I've instructed you to do" William said with confidence as they laid in the snow behind some rocks, bushes and trees.
Mary, Connor and Kent proceeded to their positions to start the plan. Mary broke a couple of twigs before running through some bushes making them rustle. The one who seemed to be incharge of the four motioned to two of them to go and check out what was going on. As soon as they left, William and Brian sprung out of the bushes ambushing the two guards and made quick work of them. Once the two chasing Mary stood confused as they look ones around for her, Connor and Kent sprung out and engaged them in combat. Brian turned back into a human to mount Keisha on Will's back as Ethan nipped on the rope that they used to tie her up. He was successful as Brian carried her up and put her on Will's back. Knowing the terrain that they were about to follow, Brian had to hop on William's back to steady Keisha's body.
"What's taking them so long" William wondered as it took Connor and Kent a long time to knock them out knowing the nature of their operation.
Finally, They emerged from the snow struck bushes and joined them as they were about to leave. Brian being with Keisha as they both rode William wasn't part of the plan at all and Connor gave off a confused sound partnered with the confused look on his face.
"Yh I know not part of the plan but the way isn't so smooth and she could fall off so someone has to steady her" Brian explained to his brother.
"Alright let's go" William commanded before galloping away.
As they ran through the forest, William was glad that Brian was up there holding Keisha or she would've fallen off about ten times now with all the quick turns and jumps he was making though carrying both of them didn't allow William to move as quickly as before. As they ran through the forest with blistering pace, one of the boulder wolves leaped out of the bushes and engaged William. Will was quick to react and had to throw him off his body cuz he was carrying precious cargo. As soon as he threw him off, he sounded the alarm and all the boulder wolves were aware of their presence.
"What do we do know?" Connor asked as they ran through the forest with five boulder wolves on their tail.
"Well we need to just keep on running as fast as we can though the conditions aren't favourable unless we take the gamble and bank to the plain to make it to the border faster" William stated nervously as the five had increased to seven now.
"Well your the one incharge, it's your call" Connor stated. Will had a huge decision to make and time was running out on them.
"I guess we cut off to the plain, it's the only way we can get out unharmed" Willing am said as he led the group of five wolves to the plain where they were now being chased by twelve boulder wolves that were catching up really quick.
"I don't know how long I can keep up, you know I'm not as fast as you guys" Kent said. He was strong and all but he wasn't as fast as the others. He had to throw two wolves of his back twice due to his lack of speed compared to the others.
"Don't worry man we're almost there" William assured Kent as they approached the hill.
They ran as fast as they could as the barks, snarls and whimpers of the boulder wolves got closer and closer with every passing second. The Hamsterly wolves were getting tired now cuz they've ran for a long period of time but at last, the rocky hill was in sight. They ran quickly as Brian held Keisha and clung on to William's fur for deaf life as he ran quickly and snow got to his face and the gallops the he took could throw him off his back to his death. They scampered up the hill to their own sight as all five of them leaped over to their territory. One wolf leaped as it attempted to catch Kent but Kent twisted his body and turned to the left propelling his left paw to slap the enemy wolf back to its own part of the forest. Mary and Connor landed on their feet while Kent and William crashed into the snow. Will had to be extra careful on how he landed so that he wouldn't harm them and so he landed with his side and was stopped by a tree. The wolves stopped by the border as the growled, snarled and barked at the five. Everyone including Blake, Caleb and Daren were there. They had a mean look that could be read through their wolf faces. They had mercy, turned around and left the exhausted wolves.
"That was something" Brian said as he tried to catch his breath from all that had happened.
"I don't think I've ever had to run like that in my life before" Kent said as he owly stood to his feet.
"Tell me about it" William added as he struggled to get up due to the extra weight that he was carrying. One he was back on his feet, he shook the snow off his back and headed back to the Gatwick house.
"Men, Eric's gonna be pissed after hearing what had transpired" William said.
"Yep, I wonder what he's going to do after finding out that his daughter was kidnapped" Mary said concerned.
"Yh we'll just have to wait and find out" William said as they walked quickly through the forest.
"But you did well for your first assignment as leader though" Kent said to William.
"Well I won't call this an assignment" William said with a little giggle.
"Yh but you did do well in planning and leading us. This leadership thing really fits you" Connor added.
"Oh well, let's just get home and rest for now" William said before picking up speed and running home as the others trailed.
The stunt that was pulled by the boulder pack would prove crucial to the coming hours ahead once it reaches the ears of Eric but one thing that wasn't certain was what he was going to do about it.
