Chapter 21

Returning from Giran's place, Misaka still had some time as it was still early enough. Already on her way back, she had done some Vigilante work, but she was still not feeling very tired. Seeing as she still had some things to do, she decided to start designing a costume, or at least write down some ideas. From what she knew, Hero costumes were mandatory for the internships. So, she had to have one.

She had already written down some ideas that she'd explore on Sunday, as she had already made plans on how she'd spend her Saturday. With that she fell asleep.

She spent her Saturday refining the technique for gravitational control, but she had made litlle progress. She had expanded her control to many small objects, each no less than half a kilo and had also been able to lift objects of up to 5 kilos indefinitely. However, the process was still far too inefficient to be useful in battle, something she hoped to change.

Right now, Misaka was walking around the city, browsing the different Hero equipment shops. It was finally Sunday, and it was time for her to design her suit. She didn't want something particularly eye-catching, only efficient, comfortable, and future proof. First, she wanted a way to fire her Quirk-destroying bullets. She had some lying around in her apartment that were not equipped in the A.A.A that she wanted to take advantage of. She also wanted a belt to store the projectiles for her Railgun, as carrying coins in her pocket just wasn't practical. Finally, she needed it to be durable enough to withstand the strongest of her attacks, as they may be reflected and used against her, or she might use them in close range. With that list in mind, she had started searching the different shops. She had also decided to talk with the school department on some of the equipment she'd need. As for the material of the suit, she already knew how she'd find it. Just as she went to enter a shop, her burner phone rang. It was an unknown number, but she was certain on who it was.

"Yes? Who is this?"

"Are you the one Giran told us about?" The voice was clearly modified but that was normal. She had received confirmation on who it was just from their question.

"Yes. Where can we meet?"

"The warehouse where we first met will be okay. We are expecting you."

The call ended, and Misaka headed to the meeting point. Coincidentally, the warehouse they'd met was where she'd built the A.A.A. so it was a good meeting spot.

A short trip later, she was in front of a large warehouse just outside of the city. There were some black cars parked outside and she decided to enter from the back. She knew that the black-market representatives were inside, and she was careful not to reveal her identity. Hiding from them, she vibrated a thin metallic panel in such a way, that it produced a voice not too similar to her own.

"Hello."

"Hello to you too, dear client. What would you like to procure today?" The leader of the group, a bald, quite fat, old man started talking. "Perhaps what we supplied you with, the last time? Or something else?"

"No, no. Your materials and weapons were quite excellent. I'd like the same wares as before, only with some more of the alloy I used. I do have one request though. What's your most durable material for Hero costumes? I'd like enough of that for at least 5."

"That can be arranged. So, for all the materials the cost will be about… 21 billion yen. 20 for the materials and 1 for the costume. The payment will be arranged in two doses. One right now, and on after the delivery of the materials, in approximately one weeks' time. It will be the same way as last time. I'll be awaiting it." Having said that, the man and his entourage left the warehouse. As soon as Misaka heard the cars revving up and leaving the area, she also left, making her way to the nearest bank.

First, she withdrew the amount of 20 million that Giran needed and after that she went to work on transferring the first dose of 10.5 billion from her account to the account of the seller. The amount of money she needed would be a slight dent to her finances, but she only splurged such huge amounts semi-regularly. Still, she needed to be discreet with moving that huge amount of money. First, she informed the bank officials of her making a purchase and then she met up with them and explained the reasons for her purchase, though of course they were lies. With all of that, a big part of her Sunday had been eaten up, but she'd have no debts by the end of the day.

Shortly after she left the bank, she passed the money she owed to Giran on, and informed the black-market merchant that the deposit had been made. Seeing that she had nothing to do for her costume and her business dealt with, she decided to leave. After all, night was falling, and she had to take care of her Vigilante duties. She also remembered that the internships were starting tomorrow, so she also had to get ready for that.

----------------------------------------

Monday had finally come, and it was time for the internships to start. Aizawa had told them to meet him in front of the main train station of the city at around 8 o'clock and also to bring their costumes with.

Misaka arrived quite early at the meeting as she normally took the train to school, and this was just a simple change in route. Still, she was surprised to see that quite many of her classmates had already arrived. She decided to chat them up, as she was getting bored waiting for all the others.

15 minutes later, the last of her classmates arrived and Aizawa called out for them.

"Good, you're all here. I hope you have your costumes with you. Don't wear them in public and don't lose them, okay?"

"Got iiiiiiit!" Mina answered, speaking for the whole class.

"Great. Make sure to mind your manners! Now, let's go! Those of you who have an internship with Heroes outside of the list we gave you can go to your internships alone. The rest of you will follow me."

With that having been said Misaka entered the train station, going to the same station as Ida, as both of the Pro Heroes they'd intern under were situated in Hosu. For Misaka, it was just good luck that her internship was in the same city as Stain was, but she suspected that there was something deeper in Ida's internship. After all, it was common knowledge that the most recent of Stain's victims was Ida's brother, so she was sure that this was the main reason for him going there. It was unusual for a student of his pedigree to intern under such low-ranked Heroes.

She idly talked with Ida on the way to Hosu, but she understood that his mind was occupied by other things; not that she faulted that. The train ride was quick, and they reached their destination in a short time. Saying a short goodbye to Ida, she went to find Graviton's Hero Office.

There wasn't much to comment on Hosu. It had many high-rise buildings and was generally an average ward of Tokyo. If one didn't count Stain, the ward was no different than any other. At least that was the impression the city gave her as she navigated its roads searching for the Hero Office.

At long last, she arrived in front of it. It wasn't anything grand, but you could still feel that it wasn't just a random building. She knocked on the door and waited for it to open.

"Ah, you must the girl from the internship, right?" A casual clothed, well-kempt, 30 something year old opened the door.

"Yes. I guess you're the Gravity Hero: Graviton?" Misaka's inquiry was straight-forward. She didn't want to waste her time with assistants and sidekicks.

"The man himself. I'm sorry that I'm not in my suit right now. It's still in the washer." Misaka was slightly surprised at this. She expected a Pro Hero to have many of their outfits and also to not wash them themselves. Perhaps it was just a quirk of Graviton.

"No problem. Can I come in?"

"Of course. While we wait for the suit to finish washing would you like something to have? You know, we can sit down and have a little chat; get to know each other."

"That's a great idea!" Misaka was parched so she instantly accepted the offer.

"Good. Ah, the kitchen room is the 3rd door on the left, right at the end of the hallway. Let's get going."

As they went further inside the building, Misaka was surprised a bit at it. A big part of it was occupied by a living room, or rather, a waiting area. The back area was where all the utility space was: the kitchen, the bathroom, offices and whatever else. The second floor, which was really the rest of the building, from what she understood was a training room that occupied all of it.

"What do you want? I've got everything here. Tea, coffee, water?" Misaka hadn't realized it, but they'd reached the kitchen. Graviton was already in the kitchen board, preparing stuff.

"I think I'll have some tea. With some honey as well." As Misaka said that she sat down.

"Great. One tea coming right up." With that, silence fell in the kitchen as Graviton focused on his brewing.

Some minutes later, he broke the silence as he brought a plate with a cup of tea, a cup of coffee and some cakes to the table.

"Here you go. So, I'll start with my questions." He took a sip of his coffee and continued. "How come you intern under me? I mean, I guess you were the student with the most offers. I wouldn't be surprised if basically everyone from the top 10 made an offer. I'm hardly on the top 50 list."

Misaka took a big gulp of her tea before she answered. "Well of course. I think I had something like 3.000 offers. Your guesses are correct. I could intern under basically everyone. However, I have a special reason for interning under you. Do you know what my quirk is?"

"I can't say I do. I guess it's something like telekinesis?" Misaka was not surprised at this. U.A was especially careful with their students' information.

"Close enough. My quirk enables me to control the magnetic spectrum. You can see where I'm going with this. Of course, this is not the only reason. You are a graduate of U.A, generally use your quirk for Rescue and are of course a widely recognized Hero… though this Office doesn't look like that." Misaka muttered that last part, but she had said the whole truth. There was no reason to hide her reason for coming to this Office and she was sure Graviton would understand.

"Huh… So, you want guidance with your quirk is what you're telling me. I can respect that." The truth didn't seem to upset him in anyway and he continued speaking. "However, as you can see… the Office is a bit empty right now. All of my sidekicks have left my service. What that means is that you and I are going to have to respond to every call that comes this way together. Got that?" Graviton said that with a tone of finality, something like <>

The lack of sidekicks intrigued Misaka, but she decided to not pry further. With nothing to lose she accepted his deal. "Got it, boss!"

"Welcome to the team then. Any other questions?" Seeing her remain silent he didn't stop. "No? Great. My suit will be ready right around now. The dressing rooms are right across the kitchen so go suit up. I'll meet you in the training room so we can familiarize ourselves with each other's power.

Misaka quickly got dressed in her U.A gym clothes and went upstairs, only to find Graviton already there.

What followed wasn't anything spectacular. It was just a short spar. Neither of them went all out, only just wanting to scope out their power. Against someone with great combat experience and expert use of his quirk, all while holding back, Misaka struggled a bit, as she appreciated the mobility Graviton's quirk provided him with. He constantly avoided all her attacks, so the fight ended pretty much in a stalemate. Despite all that, Misaka had already made new discoveries on how to improve on her endeavour to control gravity.

While they were cooling down, a phone started ringing inside the office. They only returned an hour or two later, after having saved a whole building from collapsing after a Villain's attack. Her ability proved invaluable in that regard, as she managed to hoist down the people in the building, much like she'd done against the High Priest. Still, she'd managed to find at least a big part of Graviton's power, being able to command an entire building.

With the sun falling and the moon rising, Graviton dismissed her, and she returned to her apartment, content with her progress that day.

------------------------------------------

This was how Misaka spent her second day of the internship; helping with rescue missions and sparring with Graviton. She had become proficient enough with Graviton's quirk that she was able to levitate herself indefinitely amongst other things. She was still far too far off from Graviton though -not that she minded.

Right now, it was the end of the third day of her internships. As the toll of his quirk on his body was too great, Graviton always retired early, meaning that Misaka's day ended at that time. It was about 8 p.m, and she was aboard a train that had just left Hosu. She had been lost in her world, thinking on how to best confront Stain, when her musings were cut off from a loud sound coming outside the train. She turned to her left and peered through the window. What she was not something she expected to see. A large explosion had just left a building aflame. That was not the end of her worries though.

No, what worried her was the attack on the train on the opposite rail. She'd seen it coming, but she hadn't managed to respond. The apparent lack of Heroes made the situation that much worse. As she went to fight it though, it was suddenly blown back by a powerful kick, from a short old man, though he seemed to be a Hero, judging from his clothes.

Having no time to waste she jumped aboard the other train, where there was an obvious hole done by the attacker. To her surprise, she saw a familiar face there.

"Midoryia-san?! What are you doing here?" From what little she knew, Midoryia was interning somewhere far away from Hosu.

"Misaka-san! I was going to Shibuya for some on-field training with my mentor. As you can see though… yeah, it didn't go so well. He's the one who just kicked that Nomu-like Villain, Gran Torino! What about you?" The name reminded Misaka of something, but she couldn't quite remember what. In the meantime, train officers had started swarming the area and putting passengers to ease.

"Nothing much. I was just returning from my own internship. You know…" Misaka's answer was cut short by an official. "Hey kids, what are you doing here? It's dangerous, please come further inside." Misaka was slightly annoyed by the interruption but understood that it was his job. She was not prepared for what Izuku did though.

"I'm sorry, Mr., but I'm going out. I have to help out there." Though there were some protests from him, Izuku had already leaped out. Misaka followed suit and jumped out, following Izuku. She saw no reason in not doing anything.

Now outside, she saw Izuku already in the edges of the rails, ready to jump to the nearest building's roof.

"Oy, Midoryia! Wait for me."

"Misaka-san, you're coming as well?"

"Of course. Who do you think I am? So, where are we going?"

"I want to find Ida-kun and also help Gran Torino. If that Nomu is as strong as the USJ one, we're fighting a doomed battle."

"It's a Nomu!? If that's the case, we have no time to waste."

With that, they started traversing the dense skyline, roof to roof, hoping to catch a glimpse of either Gran Torino or Ida.

------------------------------------------------------------------

They were just passing over an alley when they heard someone shouting a familiar name. Izuku had wanted to go down to the streets, but Misaka knew that this would hinder them, as they'd have to go through a fleeing, unorganized and scared crowd.

"Where are you Tenya-kun?" It was a male voice, or rather shout. It was hard to distinguish it between all the destruction, but the two of the heard it, and ran to where the shout originated from.

It was a local park. It had been set ablaze from exploding cars and what not. The sources of the destruction were unmistakably two Nomu. One was eerily similar to the USJ one, the only difference being the lack of eyes, while the second one was equipped with wings and patrolled the skies, launching the occasional attack.

"What's this??" Midoryia was terrified from what he was seeing. He was not prepared for the hellish landscape in front of him. Many Heroes were badly injured, and the Nomus seemed unharmed. However, the Heroes didn't stop their fight.

"Manual, put out the fires!" A Hero ordered another, as he ripped a hydrant off the road.

"That's the Hero Tenya is interning under. Let's go ask him where Tenya is Misaka-san!" Midoryia chased after him, intent on finding Ida's whereabouts.

"Coming! Damnit Tenya-kun, where are you? Why now of all times?" That comment gave the both of them pause. If they didn't know where Ida was, how could they find him.

As Midoryia stood there dazed, Heroes rushed to aid and protect Manual.

"Hey kids, what are you doing here? Get back! We'll hold them here. Follow the police's instructions!" The Hero commanded them to leave and for good reason. In her eyes, they were nothing more than inexperienced kids.

"Got it Miss!" Izuku said that and retreated a bit. "But still, where is Ida?" Worry coursed through Midoryia's body, the thought of losing his friend too much for him. It didn't help that the situation in front of him was rapidly devolving.

Misaka couldn't handle seeing Midoryia in such a sorry state and decided to take action. "Izuku, don't you want to be a Hero to stand up to All Might?"

"Of course, Misaka-san!"

"Then, go find Ida-kun. You can see that the situation here is being handled. Ida-kun might be in danger. You've got to help him. Who knows what he's encountered." Misaka's words woke up Izuku. While the scene in front of him was not a pleasant one, the ones in front of him were Professional Heroes and his help would be a nuisance. In the same vein, saving the city was far more important to them than saving a single Hero intern.

"But what about you Misaka-san?"

"Don't worry with that. I'll go around and help with search & rescue. That's what I've been training on the past two days. Though… if Graviton was here the situation would be much better."

"Okay then. See you." With that reassurance, Midoryia scurried off through the alleys, hoping to find Ida in one of them.

Now, Misaka had work to do. She had to be inconspicuous while doing it though, helping the Heroes from the shadows. Identifying her right now would be too easy. Thinking on how to help them, she decided to adopt a purely supportive strategy. Realistically, that was easy for her as well as difficult to detect. The Heroes would think that it was someone with a power-up quirk.

She focused on what she wanted to do, cleared her mind of any distractions, and focused on the main attackers on the Hero side. Spotting them she used her magnetism in two simultaneously. First, she accelerated their blood flow, making them overall stronger, and secondly, she tried to mess with the Nomus' brains, an effort that was unsuccessful owing to their genetic makeup being far too different to a human's.

She kept up her supportive measures for a minute or two, careful not to expose herself. More and more attacks were landing, however, the Nomu didn't seem to give in, rapidly regenerating from any and all wounds. Just as a large co-operational attack failed, and many Heroes were put into danger, a hulking mass of muscle and flame entered the fray.

It was none other than the second ranked Hero: Endeavor. He made his presence known with a punch to the solar plexus of the Nomu, that was immediately blown back. To the terrified sight of everybody there though, the Nomu didn't budge even from that, regenerating once again.

Endeavor didn't stop though. As the two giant masses dashed, Endeavor his ace, his quirk. He grabbed the Nomu's exposed brain and with a blue-hot flame, charred it, the Nomu finally falling down lifeless.

"All of you here! Go to Ekou Street and help out. I'll handle this one myself!" Endeavor swiftly shouted some orders to the gathered Heroes before he left to chase behind the winged Nomu, which was already flying off.

The Heroes wasted no time, running to the location Endeavor highlighted.

Meanwhile, just as Endeavor arrived at the scene, Misaka left it. She knew his power, but also knew that if she remained any more there, Midoryia and Ida would be in danger. She was running to Midoryia's location, which had been pinged some time ago. She knew she had to hurry.

Some minutes earlier Izuku had found Stain and Ida. Ida was down on the ground paralyzed, while Stain was ready to cut him up. Izuku immediately engaged, but he faced difficulties as well. He utilized everything he'd learned in the short time he was under Gran Torino, but he still fell short. With a simple nick, he was down on the ground, in the same situation as Ida. He however, had taken a measure to make sure that backup arrived. Just as he entered the alley, he sent his location to Misaka and Todoroki, hoping that one of them would come.

His hopes were answered in a torrent of flames and ice. Shoto had arrived to save the day. With his overpowering quirk, he managed to get the jump on, and push back Stain. Yet, even with all that, the difference in power and experience was easily felt, as Stain recovered ground, even managing to almost draw blood from Shoto. It seemed to be a lost fight. Pro Heroes would arrive too late and Shoto was doomed to fail. Izuku had already started hypothesizing on Stain's quirk, when he felt control return to his body. He knew he had to take his chances, now that Stain had launched high into the air. If he didn't, the fight was certain to be a loss.

He jumped and readied his strongest attack. He had to defeat the Villain swiftly and decisively, just like All Might would.

"One For All: Full Cowling: 5%!!!" This was the strongest attack Izuku had to offer; a do or die offense. Pain racked his body, but he had no choice. He wanted to take down Stain with one attack and make his two mentors proud.

Stain was not fooled by how weak the attack looked, his experience blaring alarm signals in his head. He knew that if the attack connected, it'd be bad news. He had to dodge it. Yet that was too hard to do. He was mid-air, and he had zero manoeuvrability in the air. In a last-ditch attempt, he stabbed his own sword to the wall, and using all his strength, he grappled into it, avoiding Izuku's attack. That was not to say that the attack was unsuccessful. The sheer force of the punch grazed him and badly wounded him. And although Midoryia was out for the count, he had bought precious time for the other two.

Stain knew this and knew who he had to target. Yet he had no time to form a plan as his target threw fire and ice at him. Quickly propelling himself off of the vantage point he was in, he plunged down headfirst to where Shoto was, only a hastily erected wall of ice between him and his victim. Grabbing a knife out of his pocket he threw it with enough force to crack the wall. His sword soon followed, cracking the wall, and revealing Shoto right below it. The momentum Stain carried was enough for him to keep going, and even if Shoto had moved out of the way, his katana still slightly grazed him, and soon enough, Shoto lost control of his own body.

"Ha, you shitty kids. All you had to do was just allow me to kill that Hero and the kid that came here first. There was no reason for all this bloodshed." Stain talked between hastily drawn breaths as he walked towards his original targets. "And after all, what did you achieve? Those two are going to die, and you're going to follow them." Stain was right now above Native and Ida, sword drawn, ready to end their lives. Everyone in that little alley, all except Stain, watched with fear as Stain began to bring his sword down.

Yet, with the sword just centimetres above Native's head, Stain backed off, jumping to higher ground once again. Countless steel beams came his way, beams too many for him to cut. But his retreat path exposed his other glaring weakness which he had once before in this fight countered. Now in the air, he was weak to any other attack. And the attack came.

From the dark outskirts of the alley, an orange beam travelled, and in less than a second, it reached Stain. Stain knew that if he took that attack head-on, he could say goodbye to his life. He hastily put his sword and scabbard in a cross-shape in an effort to block it. It was made from the finest materials, so he doubted that it would fail now, so he put all his strength to the block.

He felt the impact first. It pushed him back, mid-air as he was, but he didn't falter. Faltering meant death. For two excruciating seconds he had to do his damnedest to keep his sword in it's cross-shape. After that, he stopped feeling the beam's impact. Yet, his momentum was far too much, and he crashed to the ground, multiple bones breaking.

"Tch! That didn't work, did it?" He heard a female voice from where the beam came. "I mean it was weakened but still… what a monster." He heard the voice coming closer, and as he tried to move, he found it impossible to do.

"Misaka-san!" One of the boys, the green-haired one seemed to recognize her instantly, and recognition dawned quickly on the other boys as well. "What are you doing here, Misaka-san?" Ingenium was the most surprised at this development though.

"Why should I not be here Tenya-kun? After all, Midoryia did ask for my help. Anyway, can you move?" Stain was enraged at being ignored but didn't feel like making it known. When that girl turned his back to him, he'd attack, as he had now regained some control of his body. In front of his eyes, though, his original targets got up. 'Not good. It's starting to hit it's time limit. I have to be fast.'

He saw as the girl helped Ingenium up and decided to take his chances. The two that had just been freed from his quirk were badly damaged, so they couldn't interfere. The other two were still under the influence of his quirk. With a plan formed, he dashed, ignoring the warning signals of his body.

He was just a hair's breadth away from his target, when something he didn't expect to happen happened. With his sword ready to stab the girl, his body seized up, completely out of his control. Try as he might, he couldn't push his sword forward any more. He fell to the ground and knew that his fate was sealed, as everyone else was getting up as well. With a punch to the gut from the girl, he fell down unconscious.

"Oy, do we have anything to bind him with?" Misaka had helped everyone get up, but now she faced the problem of detaining Stain.

"I found this in a trash can." Shoto had gotten back on his feet faster than everyone else and had already found a rope to tie Stain with. Misaka grabbed, and expertly she tied Stain up.

"Misaka-san, let me drag him." Ida immediately offered to do the hard work, but Shoto objected.

"You're still injured Ida. I'm in a much better shape than you are right now. Let me do it." Misaka would do it herself, but she took it upon herself to carry the injured Midoryia. Besides them, Native was mumbling apologies.

"I am a Pro Hero, and I was just a burden to you all." The battered Pro Hero lamented the fact that he was unable to do anything is such a crucial fight.

"You weren't. I mean, in a one-to-one fight with the Hero Killer, I don't think any of us could have done something. He's too strong! That's why we have to get stronger." The now conscious Midoryia jumped to Native's defence.

"Midoryia is right. If not for the timely intervention of Misaka, we wouldn't have made it." Shoto quickly made his agreement known.

As they exited the alleyway, they saw a short old man exiting another one. "Gran Torino!" Midoryia instantly recognized the old man, who, when he saw Midoryia, immediately started lecturing him.

"…. Well, I'm just glad you're all right."

"I'm sorry, Gran Torino!" Midoryia started fervently apologizing.

In the meantime, the Heroes fighting the two Nomu's made their appearance.

"Shit, someone, call an ambulance. There are injured kids here. Native is here as well. Endeavor was right to order us to come here." A Hero started shouting for an ambulance.

"Hey, is that the Hero Killer!?!?" Another one saw who Shoto was dragging and was shocked.

"Endeavor? Then, is he still in a fight somewhere?" Shoto ignored the one's asking about the Hero Killer, focusing on the fact that they had been ordered by Endeavor to come there.

"Yeah, he's still fighting those monsters, probably. He sent us here as we were useless against that Villain." A female Hero, that Misaka and Midoryia recognized as the one who'd ordered them to stay back answered the question.

Silence fell, small chat slowly picking up, as everyone waited for the authorities to come.

"You three, you all sustained wounds because of me. I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart." The three students turned surprised, only to see a bowing Ida. "I became blind with hate and revenge that I became completely blind to everything else." He apologized as tears welled up in his eyes.

"Hey, I'm sorry. We're all friends and yet we completely ignored all your brooding. We're at fault as well." Midoryia managed to articulate what the three others felt best and Shoto could only add one thing. "Pull yourself together… what kind of class president are you?"

"Yeah… Yeah, you're right. Thank you, guys." Ida wiped his face and stood up straight once again.

"DUCK!!!" A shout from Gran Torino pulled them all out of a daze. Everybody followed his orders, except two. Midoryia, who couldn't duck in time due to his injuries, and Misaka, who decided to end the Nomu.

She stood up and faced the Nomu. She reached for her pockets and produced a small coin. Though it looked the same as the normal ammo she used, this coin was more durable and roughly the same weight. This meant that she could launch it with twice the speed or more, if need be. She fiddled with the coin in front of the terrorized eyes of the Heroes and her classmates, before she finally put it between her fingers. She flicked.

To the stunned eyes of everybody watching, an orange, almost white-hot spear of light escaped her fingers. The shockwaves followed not soon after. The coin, which had been accelerated to speeds more than six times the speed of sound, in the blink of an eye, struck the Nomu, finding its exposed brain. Its fate was a foregone conclusion. Without losing momentum, the coin evaporated the head of the flying Nomu, the heat emanating from it enough to badly char the rest of its body. With a sick crunch, the dead Nomu's body fell to the ground, in front of the horrified eyes of Midoryia and her classmates who promptly began to retch at the sight. Misaka who was used to the sight remained unmoved.

"All the phonies who have overrun society and all those criminals who have overrun society -these are the targets of my purge. I do all of this for a just world!" Misaka turned around to see Stain, who had put quite some distance between them, free from his shackles.

"The Hero Killer! It's you!" In the corner of her eyes, Misaka saw Endeavor, who got ready to attack.

"Wait Todoroki! Don't attack." Gran Torino hastily stopped Endeavor, fearing the worst.

"Another phony… and Endeavor. The fakes must be rectified!!" A dark aura started emanating from Stain, giving pause to any of the Heroes thinking to attack. "Someone must Stain himself in blood to do so. To restore the meaning of the word <>!!!" He brandished his knives, the menacing aura never dissipating. "Come at me! Just try it you pretenders. The only one allowed to harm me… is All Might!!"

The heroes were shaken to their core, afraid of the beaten down Stain. "He… He fell unconscious." The remark of Endeavor shook them all out of their stupor, and emergency forces started arriving in the general Hosu area, helping to clean up the mess the Nomu attack caused. Misaka's classmates were loaded up in ambulances for hospitalization after some preliminary checks, which also found Misaka to be clear of any harm. That was not to say that she wasn't going to be hospitalized as well. They didn't know if there was any deeper damage that their checks didn't show. With that, the huge ordeal of the Hosu attacks ended- at least the fighting part of it.
