Chapter 92 - Indigo League; Point system
[The matches will be randomly set up by the computer in front of everyone.] Everyone even the cameras turned their focus on the screen. The screen showed the star shaped logo of Kanto Association for a second before displaying all 50 cards.
All the 50 cards was of the same size and had the same Indigo League logo on it. All the cards looked the same.

The next second, all the cards pair themselves with random cards. The 50 cards has now paired into 25 cards.
Then all the 25 cards began to showed the images of two trainers trainers along with the number and the points each trainer currently had.

[All the information is displayed in the screen. Trainers will be called before their matches. Also all the matches will take place in main stadium. So the trainer who doesn't have any matches can wait. The first match will start in 5 minutes] Saying that Lorelei image which had been displayed on the right side of the screen also disappeared.

Suzune then as if feeling something turned to look at Itsuki. Itsuki couldn't read any emotions in her face except for the coldness that kept all the man away from her. "Things are getting more and more interesting at this point." Finn murmured as he looked at the screen.

Suzune didn't didn't for anyone and walked to the backstage.
Seeing Suzune leave many young men sighed in depression.
Many hot blooded young men wanted to approach Suzune since it was very rare for a beauty like her to sit alone but Suzune's cold expression made every men hesitate.
"Guess it's impossible to melt the ice on her face. I quit. If I try to force my way then I will only make myself embarrassed in front of everyone." All the young men agreed and decided to left the ice queen alone.

[Each matches will take time to finish. So if participants wants they can spend the free time with their families. Everyone participate name and number will be called right before their respective matches. If a participant fails to arrive at the battlefield within 5 minutes when their name has been called, that participant will be disqualified.]

"Itsuki, I will go and meet my mom and grandma first. I haven't met them for almost 6 months." Cynthia looked at a certain direction. Itsuki could see that Cynthia was very eager to see her family after 6 months.
"Okay, I will also go and meet my family." Cynthia nodded and left. Following Cynthia, Barry and Cameron alsp left to meet with their own family.

Itsuki patted Finn's shoulder and gave him a encouraging smile. Itsuki knew that the chances of Finn winning this match was 50 percent based on power Ash displayed by Ash during elimination round.

The audience loudly cheered in excitement. The whole stadium was heating up for the match between two strong trainers. The crowd has seen how strong both Ash and Finn were in their previous matches that took in place Advancing round.
After that incident with Brock was bought up to the public, Ash popularity that he had due to being Oak's grandson hit the bottom.

While Finn was not that popular and almost everyone didn't knew him before this League started.
All the people of Kanto after knowing the incident Brock disliked Ash and thought Ash of as a arrogant young man. So almost 80 percent of the audience wanted to see Ash lose this fight. 80 percent of the crowd were cheering for Finn instead.

From one side of the north entrance, a young man wearing a baseball cap with a yellow mouse like Pokémon sitting on his shoulder slowly walked out.
All the cameras focused on Ash. Many people in the crowd started to Boo Ash.

At first Ash ignored all the negative responses that he was receiving from the crowd. But as he walked towards the battlefield, more and more people joined and started to Boo Ash even loudly.
Ash couldn't maintain his expression when all that crowd started to boo him. Ash face turned ugly and gloomy. Ash was somehow suppressing his angry desire to madly attack the people who just booed him.

'Calm down. If I attack or even try to do anything like this, then I will be disqualified and banned from participating in the Indigo League again. Not only that I will also lose my trainer ID and go to jail. ' Ash calmed himself while thinking about the Indigo League championship which wanted to claim this year.

Meanwhile, Oak, Eva, Misty all looked worried for Ash. Each of them had their different worries.
"I don't think I can make Ash the future face of Kanto. I have to choose Gary." The main reason why Oak went so far to help two grandsons is because in future, Oak plans on fully controlling Kanto region by using Ash or Gary, either one of them. But now seeing that Ash was greatly hated, Oak decided to focus on Gary and nurture him with more extra special care.

Eva was worried that Ash might lose control of his mind. She thought Ahs would be unable to witness the great pressure and negatively from the crowd and would attack the crowd instead which would get Ash disqualified. This will greatly impact Oak's popularity among people.

While Misty was genuinely worried and angry both at the same time.
"Ash please calm yourself. Don't listen to the crowd. Just focus on your battle." Misty knew that Ash was a narrowed minded person and he didn't liked to be looked down upon. Ash had great pride so whenever someone said or did something to him, Ash would mercilessly beat that person.
If Ash lost control of himself then his whole future would be destroyed and Misty didn't wanted this to happen.

Misty was angry at the crowd at the same time. Misty wanted the crowd to shut their mouth if they didn't liked Ash. "Why would those peasants would boo Ash and make him angry?" Misty hated the crowd. All the people who booed Ash and made him angry.
In retaliation, Misty alone loudly cheered for Ash. "Ash you can do it."

Misty words attracted some peoples attention who were sitting near her.
"Why would this bitch cheer for someone like Ash?" One woman asked while frowning.
"I bet this bitch is someone close to that bastard."
"Shut up bitch."
Misty was angry anr normally she would have killed all this normal people the very instant they uttered those words. But Misty hands were tied as the Kanto Association wouldn't let trainers harm civilians. At this situation, Misty would have really liked her sisters help bit sadly because of her arrogant words, even her own sisters bad left her side.

Having no choice, Misty stood up and left. Misty was not sure if she would able to control herself without killing some civilians.

"I certainly didn't expect Ash would get so much hate because of the Brock incident." Lance sighed while looking at Ash. He didn't expect that son of one of the most powerful trainer in World would have such character.
Sigh!
"Another child ruined by Oak." Lance felt pity since he had high hopes from Ash.

"I don't think Oak has anything to do with corrupting that boy. From the news I have managed to gather, it looks like Ash current personality was greatly influenced by Itsuki. Ash, Gary and Itsuki grew up together. But it seems Itsuki was better than Gary and Ash at everything which developed a inferiority complex and jealousy in Ash over time. That inferiority complex and jealousy pushed Ash towards more darkness." Lorelei words was correct to the mark.

Lance silently looked at Ash."Do you think it's possible for Ash to change his personality? Because Kanto cannot afford to lose Ash and Gary. Both young man are the future of Kanto."
Lorelei looked at Ash and replied.
