Chapter 93 - Indigo League; Ash vs Finn part 1

From the south side of the entrance, a handsome young man with messy black hair wearing red white and black pant slowly walked forwards the battlefield.

Just seeing that handsome young man walking, all people sitting in the stadium began to cheer for him. The loud cheers of the audience shook the walls of the stadium as the expression on several peoples faces darkened.

Ash and Misty looked at Finn in hatred. Both of them was blaming Finn for all the boo that Ash received.

"I will fucking destroy this bastard." Ash clenched his fists tightly and angrily looked at Finn. Ash for some reason hated that smiling face of Finn. Seeing his smiling face made Ash really irritated. Another reason why Ash hated Finn was because Finn was Itsuki's friend. Ash wanted to provoke Itsuki by humiliating Finn in front of everyone.

As Finn walked to the battlefield, Finn was naturally very happy to receive such warm response from the crowd. Finn waved at the crowd few times before reaching the battlefield.

Finn plan was never to win the Indigo League. Finn never considered himself strong enough to capture the championship title. Finn had joined the league to fight Itsuki and also to have fun.

"Dad, who do you think will win?" Luna asked her father. Luna and her father had returned to the main stadium after watching the shocking and disbelieving performances by Itsuki. Luna was sure that she would remember the whole scene for the rest of her life. That scene had left a very deep impression in her mind.

"I don't know. But I personally support Finn." Unlike others Cooper had managed to dig out the truth and knew that Ash was the reason for Itsuki's family to leave Kanto region.

"Who do you support?" Cooper asked out of curiosity. Luna didn't waste a second to reply her father's question.

"I also would like for Finn to win. For some reason I don't like Ash. He gives me the same vibe as Sia, the arrogant bitch Itsuki previously defeated with a single attack." Cooper smiled in relief hearing the answer of his daughter. Ever since Luna' s mother died, Cooper has made sure to give Luna the proper education. Because Cooper had too much money, he feared that his daughter would grow up to become arrogant nust like Sia so he was very strict with his daughter in educational matters.

So now hearing that his daughter hates arrogant type people, Cooper knew that he had successfully managed to fulfill the place of Luna's mother and his daughter has grown up to become a kind young lady just like how his wife wanted their daughter to become.

"Ash has grown so much in such short time." Rui said while sighing. The emotions on Rui's face were complicated. Rui had always treated Ash as just like her own son. Ash, Gary and Itsuki were childhood friends. But everything changed and Ash became the reason, the factor that took away Itsuki's birthplace.

"Ash has changed greatly. His real change is in his attitude. He is no longer that kind and naive boy who once called you aunt. He is now an arrogant trainer who things the world revolves around him. Ash now... " Kagami wanted continue but Rui put her hand on Kagami's thigh. Kagami understood his wife's pain and stopped taking.

Serena and Grace looked at Kagami and Rui and knew there was some deep reason for Itsuki's family to move away from Kanto. 'I feel that the reason why Itsuki and his parents left Kanto has something to do with Ash..I have to ask Itsuki about it later.' Serena thought in her mind.

If someone asks Serena what impression did Ash gave her when she saw him for the first time.

Serena would reply, a young man filled with arrogant that he calls pride. And Serena absolutely hated this kind of young man. If Itsuki was arrogant then she never would have fallen for him.

"By the way, where is Itsuki? Where did he go?" Grace words made Rui, Serena and Kagami search for Itsuki.

"I think he went back to the backstage. Also I don't think Itsuki can find us in such large crowd." Rui sounded depressed as she really wanted to meet her son. Grace noticed that her daughter Serena also looked depressed and disappointed.

"Who said I can't find my parents in the crowd?" Hearing the familiar tone everyone turned their head and saw Itsuki sitting behind them and eating popcorn.

"Itsuki how did you even find us?" Rui would have given a hug to her baby if it wasn't for the crowd.

"It's a secret." Itsuki mysterious smiled and turned to look at Grace and Serena.

"Good afternoon, Aunt Grace. I was not expecting to you here." Itsuki then looked at Serena who was for some reason blushing and trying to control the smile of happiness from blooming on her face.

"Young man, you have given all of us such big shock today? It makes me wonder what secrets you're hiding." Grace said with a teasing smile.

"I don't have any secrets. It's just that I have been training in the forest for an entire month and was trying to perfect that move. My secret is hard work." Itsuki wasn't going to tell his family about Aura. Itsuki felt it would be better to keep such sensitive information to himself. The less people knew Aura the less trouble Itsuki would have to face. Itsuki also remembered that there are people in this world who are after Aura. And big proof of that his attack and Riolu's parents, who were captured by some organization.

Itsuki then saw Serena was turning and looking at him in every few seconds. This was also seen by her mother Grace. But she chose to pretend not seeing anything because Grace was very satisfied with Itsuki personality and character. Grace even wanted Serena to marry Itsuki as that would make Serena's future bright and she will be happy. So Grace didn't object the relationship between them.

Itsuki smiled on seeing how Serena looked at him at every few second.

Itsuki called the person sitting next to, that person happens to be an old man. The old man felt someone was touching his right shoulder.

The old man looked at Itsuki and instantly recognized him. Before the old man could shout, Itsuki put his finger on his mouth and signaled the old man to not scream.

Itsuki had a put on a cap to prevent anyone from the crowd to recognize his face. Also all the crowd in the stadium was busy watching the match between Finn and Ash so no one really paid attention to Itsuki when he came here.

Itsuki pointed at Serena's direction who also looked at the old man with a pleading look. The old man who looked like stan lee understood what was going on. He just smiled and stood up.

"Thank you." Itsuki whispered in the old man's ear before sitting next to Serena, the old man's previous place. 'I feel like I have seen a similar looking old man in my previous life.' Itsuki didn't think much on it since something else had attracted his attention.

Serena seeing that Itsuki had changed his place and sat next to her made her extremely happy. The smile on her face could no longer be contained.

'Now I can finally watch Indigo League with Itsuki. This fulfills one of my dream as well. I am so excited. I really want to take his arm and wrap my hands around his arm.' Right now Serena's saw the entire world blooming beautiful flowers. Serena was drank in love.

Itsuki seeing the smile that Serena tried her best not to show, thought it was worth changing his place. Her smile made him happy.

"My baby, where did you go?" Rui looked around and couldn't find her baby. Instead an ugly old man was sitting there.

Rui seeing this panicked and began to look around. "Mom, I am here. I have changed place with this kind grandpa." Itsuki something felt really embarrassed by his mother's overly concerns. It was like his mother was still treating him like a baby.

"Tell us if you want to eat anything. I have made your dad buy lots of food for us." Itsuki could see a painful smile on his dad's face which he tried his best to hide.

Itsuki as if understanding something, looked down and saw his father's hands were trembling and they looked white because of lack of blood flow. It like he has been carrying something extremely heavy for hours.

'Fortunately, I didn't meet my parents at the beginning of the Indigo League. Otherwise my mom would have made me go through the same torture as my father.' Just thinking about it, Itsuki felt embarrassed. He didn't understand why would his parents buy so much food. It's not like they could finish everything even if they continuously ate for the whole day.

Itsuki closed his eyes and prayed for his dad's health. So that he could continue to bear any type of torture of his mom.

Meanwhile on the battlefield

[Battle begin.]

"Pikachu I chose you." Ash choose his Pikachu to start the battle. Even in the advancing round match, Ash used Pikachu to defeat his opponent two Pokémon. So the audience was curious what other Pokémon Ash had.

"You know, seeing your Pikachu, I always have wanted both of our Pikachu to compete. Never thought my wish would be granted. Pikachu I chose you." Finn also threw a Pikachu.

Two Pikachu stared at each other.
