Chapter 94 - Indigo League; Ash vs Finn part 2
Itsuki could feel the heat and intensity of the battle. Both of them was taking their time to observe each other's Pokémon.
"Itsuki, why they are not starting the match?" Serena asked in confusion. Itsuki didn't move his eyes from the battlefield as if fearing that he would miss the starting part of the battle.
"Both Ash and Finn is waiting for each other to attack first."

'To think Finn's pikachu was a level 27 two and half months ago. The speed his Pikachu progressed is insane. If Finn tell me that he also has a system like me then I won't be surprised. But I don't think this is the case here. I feel that Finn has poured all of his efforts, time and resources on Pikachu so his other Pokémon shouldn't be that strong. As for Ash..... ' Itsuki looked at Ash-Pikachu.

'Oak must have given Pikachu to Ash for a reason. I think Pikachu was already level 33 or level 35 when Ash started his journey. There is a reason why Oak must have given Pikachu to Ash like he gave me Zeraora. And I think that reason is something related to having high talent or something along the lines which Ash said to mock Zeraora during our counter in Saffron city.'

'If my guess is true then Gary's Pokémon also must have progressed fast because of having high talent, at least that's what Ash, Oak and Gary believes in. But I refuse to believe that a talent could define a Pokémon worth. I believe in hard work. Even in my previous life, I always have believed this principle.'

[The system also believes in master words. But I also think Oak must have done something to trigger these Pokémon growth or feed them something which stimulated a Pokémon growth. So if my guess is correct then after reaching level 45 or level 50, the growth of Pikachu will significantly slowly down compared to the growth of a average Pokémon. Then it would take twice or even thrice the hard work to raise Pikachu's levels as compared to average Pokémon.]

"Pikachu start the battle with thunderbolt." Ash clenched his fist and his loud voice was heard all over the stadium.
"Pikachu you heard him. Use thunderbolt and show everyone your power." Itsuki noticed while Ash was fueled by anger and hatred, Finn only wanted to compete their Pikachu's powers and find out which Pikachu is the strongest.

Both Pikachu fired yellow thunderbolt towards each other. The two same attacks collided in the middle of the battlefield and exploded with a loud sound.
Boom!
"Charge Beam."
"Electro Ball."
Both Finn and Ash simultaneously ordered their Pikachu.

A electric ball began to form in Pikachu's tail. Pikachu waved it's tail and fired the electric ball towards Pikachu. While Finn's Pikachu opened its mouth and an orb of yellow electricity in front of its mouth and it fired a beam of yellow electricity from the orb.
Booom!
Both attacked clashed at the middle battlefield.

The two attacks collision made a crater in the middle of the battlefield. As spider web like cracks surrounding the crater appeared within 10 meters.
"What a power. If a normal person were to get hit with such attack, then even finding that person's dead body would impossible." The audience was getting excited as the battle progressed.

Ash and Finn paid no attention to the audience. Right now both of their minds were fully focused in the battlefield.
"Since electro Ball is not going to work then how about this, Pikachu use quick attack." Ash was beginning to feel frustrated as Finn was countering every of their moves.

"Pikachu use dig." Finn could have just used quick attack but he didn't forget the level difference between two Pokémon.
Even though his Pikachu was level 39, there was still a huge gap between level 39 and level 40. Simply speaking, Finn's Pikachu cannot stand against Ash-Pikachu's quick attack.

Pikachu began to rotate the tail of his at very fast speed which kind of looked like a drilling machine.
Before Ash-Pikachu could cross the mid field, Finn's Pikachu already had entered the underground ground.
This forced Pikachu to stop his quick attack and with a panic look Pikachu looked at Ash to think of something.

Ash smiled and ordered. "Pikachu, slam your iron tail on the ground." The whole audience was momentarily confused by Ash words while experienced knew what Ash was going to do.
Bang!
The ground shattered into irregular shaped like pieces as Pikachu was forced to came out from its hidding location.

"There you are." An evil and dark smile appeared on his face. "Use Quick attack." Hearing Ash words, Finn panicked. Finn knew that Pikachu won't able to dodge the quick attack as Ash Pikachu was near his Pokémon.
Bang!
The next second Pikachu was sent flying. Pikachu felt like he was hit with a truck. Pain spread his body as Pikachu felt one or two of his ribs cracking from the attack.

Pikachu!
Pikachu coughed some blood while trying to stand up.
"Pikachu you okay buddy. We can retreat if you can't fight anymore." Finn never wished his Pokémon to be injured just to win a battle. Finn cared more about his Pokémon then the battle outcomes. So Finn never really forced his Pokémon to fight.
Ash arrogantly folded his arms on his chest and with a arrogant smile he looked at Finn and asked.

"Is this what you and your Pikachu has to offer? Then I am extremely disappointed. Because if your Pikachu was that weak then using my 2nd strongest Pokémon to defeat a pathetic weak ass Pokémon is an insult itself." Ash arrogant words was heard loud and clear by everyone in the stadium. Everyone in the stadium supported Finn and now that Ash was thrash talking Finn, this made the crowd dislike Ash even more.

However, Finn completely ignored the words of Ash and worried looked at his Pokémon.
But Finn's Pikachu was really angry hearing all the insulting words.
Pikachu with his trembling body managed to stand up with a new found determination and anger to defeat Ash Pikachu.
Seeing the resolving and angry look on Pikachu all the crowd again loudly began to cheer for Finn.

However, this very scene which made hundreds of thousands of people happy and excited, it made Ash feel angry and rage. His urge to destroy this Pikachu increased even more now.
"Fine then. I will just show you whose Pikachu is the strongest in a hard way. Pikachu use thunder punch."

"Pikachu, just close your eyes and trust your instincts. And use Beam Charge." How could Finn look so pathetic when his Pokémon is ready to give his all. Finn also found his resolve to defeat Ash Pikachu.
Again Pikachu fired a beam of yellow energy towards Ash-Pikachu.
Pikachu confidently punched the yellow beam that was fired at him. Pikachu thunder punch made the beam explode while smoke made a barrier that prevented Ash and Pikachu from seeing their opponent.

The smoke began disappear within 5 seconds. By in that 5 seconds Pikachu had managed to disappear from his position. This made Ash think of only one thing.
"Pika.....Bang! Ash couldn't even finish his words as Finn's Pikachu attacked Ash-Pikachu by using dig to travel through the underground.

Pikachu for a moment fell on the ground and that was all Finn's Pikachu needed.
"Pikachu use beam charge again." Hearing Finn's order many people thought Finn had gone crazy.
"Is Finn had gone crazy or what?"
"Using such destructive move in such close range will also get Pikachu hurt as well."
Even Ash expression changed as he kind of understood what Finn was trying to do here.

"Since we can't attack you head on. We will take your Pikachu with us." Ash realized Finn and Pikachu has been planning for this attack. Ash angrily glared at Finn as if he really wanted to kill Finn. Ash couldn't accept the fact that he was tricked by a weak trainer like Finn. This hurt Ash ego.
Boom!
The next moment another larger explosion took place that shook the ground as large mushroom like cloud rose in the air.

When the smoke began ti disperse, everyone held their breaths seeing the 10 to 15 meters deep crater. The crater was about 30 meters in size. In canter of the crater, two red objects lied. If one looked closely enough then they would see faint yellow colors mixed with red. When the camera was zoomed in the middle of the crater, everyone was shocked to see two Pikachu was lying on the ground.

"Oh my Pokémon God!"
"Is Pikachu alright?"
"What just happened?"
The whole crowd was shocked and stunned by the secne in front of them. Even though the crowd cheered for Finn, they never thought a level 39 Pokémon would able to defeat a level 40 Pokémon.
