Chapter 102 - Indigo League; Meeting Cooper and Luna again
[Match number 5 will be between Number [888] vs Number [10]
_Cameron vs Justin.
Just like before we will be taking another 5 minutes break before the next match.]

"That was really easy battle. With her win, Cynthia now has 10 points and will definitely stay at the top. This secures her place in the next round." Carolina and Shizuka both were waiting for Cynthia to return so that they can celebrate with her.

Time continued to pass, after 5 minutes it was finally time for the fifth match to take place.
Cameron and his opponent came down and the match started. From the starting of the match Cameron continued to overwhelm his opponent with his Lucario.
Justin, who was the opponent of Cameron tried many methods to take down Lucario. But unfortunately in the process, Justin lost his 3 Pokémon to Lucario and Cameron won the match with 10 points in his pocket.

From the fifth match, Itsuki has learned about the powers of Lucario. Itsuki observed the whole match while pretending to sleep on Serena's shoulder.
'I am sure my certain Pokémon of mine would love to fight against Lucario.' Itsuki thought as he stared at Camera walking back with a big smile on his face.

_Barry from Sinnoh Region vs Camila from Kalos region. Like always we will be taking a 5 minutes break before the sixth match]

"Itsuki wake up." Serena softly called Itsuki. All this time, Serena wasn't able to focus on the battle, she was nervous and stiff.
"What is it" Itsuki pretended to wake up and looked at Serena while rubbing his eyes. Serena blushed looking at Itsuki as he looked so handsome right now.
"You should get prepared for your match." Serena remember that Itsuki's match was the 7th match, meaning the next match was his fight.

"Thank you for letting me use your shoulder. I will be going now." Itsuki noticed that Serena's mother and his parents were focused on the match and was discussing something related to the Sinnoh region.
Itsuki didn't disturb them and quietly walked away.

"Last time I fought Suzune, the match ended in a draw. I wonder if I can defeat her. If I want to be at the top 10 then I must aim to get 10 points. Meaning I will have to defeat 3 Pokémon of her in a row. Defeating 3 of her Pokemon in a row would be very difficult if not impossible. But no matter what I trust that my Pokémon will give their best." Last time Itsuki checked Suzune's Pokémon Luxray level was 43. Even if Itsuki manages to defeat Luxray, Itsuki still would have to defeat two more of her Pokémon.

Itsuki walked to the back stage, only trainers, Joy and Jenny clan members, and Kanto Association members are allowed to enter. After entering the backstage, Itsuki was above to take his seat but then someone approached him.
The man was wearing black suit and black sunglass. Itsuki felt he had seen this man somewhere before.

"Do I know you?" Itsuki asked and tried to remember. The kept his expressionless face and replied lile a robot.
"Sir, Mr Cooper wants to meet you. Please came with me." Hearing the name, Itsuki then realized that this man was one of the bodyguard of Luna, whom Itsuki met on his journey.
'I don't know why Luna' s father wants to meet me. But there must be some good reason for it.' Itsuki thought and decided to meet Cooper.

The bodyguard bought Itsuki to a VIP room at the top of the stadium. The top floor of the stadium was only reserved for VIP's.
Standing in front of the door, the bodyguard knocked the door twice and said. "Sir, I have bought Mr Itsuki with me."
"Let him in." Itsuki heard the familiar voice that he heard one month ago.

The door was opened and Itsuki walked inside the room. The room was 25 feet, almost twice the size of a average room. There was two big couches placed by the transparent glass walls. The transparent glass gave the view of the whole stadium.
There was also an TV, tabe which food snacks on it, a washroom, and red carpet that was placed on the floor.

On the couch, a man with black hair was looking at Itsuki with a smile on his face. Next to the man, there was a beautiful, otherworldly, pink haired girl who looked at Itsuki as numerous emotions were reflected in her eyes.
They were Cooper and Luna Cooper, from Celadon city.

Seeing Itsuki, Luna stood up and walked up him. There was so many things that she wanted to say to him but looking at his eyes, Luna felt she could keep at his eyes forever.
"Hey Luna. How have you been?" Itsuki assumed that Luna has explained her father about their fake relationship. Itsuki didn't know that Luna hasn't explained anything to her father.
Honesty, Itsuki thought he would never see the father and daughter pair again. But fate had different plans.

"Good. What about you?" Both Luna and Itsuki felt little awkward as both didn't know what to say in this situation.
Cough!
Cooper purposely coughed to draw Luna and Itsuki's attention towards him.
Itsuki looked at Cooper. "Hello Uncle! It's been a while. You look healthier than before."
"Itsuki sit down we have so many things to talk about." Cooper said while maintaining his stern face.

Before Itsuki could move, Luna grabbed his right arm and bought Itsuki to sit with her, on the couch opposite to Cooper.
Cooper "___"
Cooper's face twitched looking at what his daughter was doing. For some reason he felt angry at Itsuki for tainting his cute innocent daughter.
Even after sitting down, Luna kept holding his right hand like it was the most natural thing to do.

'Come on. don't glare at me like that. If anything then it's your daughter's fault.' Itsuki thought while looking at Cooper with a fake smile.
Sigh!
Cooper calmed himself because this was not Itsuki's fault. "Itsuki, next match is yours. Do you have confidence in getting into top 10 rank?"

Cooper didn't know much about Itsuki's opponent but considering the power that Itsuki had showed during the advancing round, Cooper was sure Itsuki would easier able get in top 10.
"To be honest, unlike the other first 6 matches which was one sided battle, my opponent is really strong. I am not even sure if I can beat her three Pokémon by using only One Pokémon."

Cooper understood what Itsuki was saying. Cooper also didn't had any power in this situation. If Cooper tried to interfere in this match in any way, then the Kanto Association will find trouble with him.
"Itsuki, good luck on losing the match." Luna said with the most natural smile on her face.

'How can I forget this girl is a snake that loves to bite whenever she gets the chance.' Itsuki made a mental note to always keep his guard around Luna. Otherwise this girl words might affect his mind and make him lose all confidence.

"By the way, Itsuki I heard your parents were supposed to came to watch the Indigo League. Where are they? I was hoping to invite your parents to dinner." Both Itsuki and Luna bodies stiffened. Itsuki then understood that Luna still hasn't explained the truth to her father.
'If Luna's father meets my parents then he will definitely talk about engagement related matters which I don't want to happen. If I don't want to get in trouble them I have to keep my parents away from Cooper and Luna.'

Itsuki gulped down and with a forced smile. "Actually my parents still haven't.... Itsuki suddenly stopped because he realized that the richest man of Kanto must already have known about his parents and won't take much of effort to find his parents in the stadium. Itsuki's eyes then happen to fall on the TV and saw the 6th match waa near his ending part.
"Uncle, the 6th match is about to end. If you don't mind can I talk to Luna for few minutes alone?" Saying that Itsuki pulled Luna out of the room. Itsuki gave Cooper no chance of replying and hurriedly went out of the room.

Cooper smiled slightly when he heard the door closing sound.
Of course Cooper knew why Itsuki left in a hurry."I never said I was going to talk about your engagement or anything. There is no way I would allow my cute daughter to be engaged with the current you." Cooper was currently observing Itsuki's growth. He also had no intention of marrying his daughter this early.

Itsuki pulled Luna to an isolated area.
"Luna why didn't you tell your father about the truth? Now if he meets my parents then I fear that he might talk about engagement related stuff with him." Just the thought of being engaged to someone made Itsuki feel suffocated.
Itsuki was just 11 years old. Itsuki wanted to be single which gave him a sense of freedom. Itsuki didn't wanted to be tied down and restrict his precious freedom with any sort of engagement.
