Chapter 156 - Soul Dew and DMA [I]
After Itsuki, Sabrina, and Latias left, Lorenzo was working in his museum. Alto Mare Museum is a museum that has existed for multiple centuries. The museum ownership was built when centuries ago, and Latios and Latias used their powers to protect the Alto Mare from evil Pokemon. The Alto Mare Museum exhibits the Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare (DMA). Latios roared on finding himself in a cage. Latios instantly became angry. Latios sensed someone approaching and a saw woman with white hair approaching.
"Hello! Latios. As much as I want to, today I don't have time to deal with you. I need to get the soul dew from this pond. After today, Alto Mare will be ours and you will be our pet." A legendary Pokemon someone's pet was unacceptable. Latios was beyond furious.

Latios let out another roar and violently began to struggle. The cage restricted Latios's movement. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't move at all. Latios also sensed that he couldn't use his psychic power. Not just psychic powers, all of Latios' powers were forcefully suppressed inside the cage.

"Now if you allow me to get the soul dew." Latios struggled even more violently. Latios knew what one could do with the soul dew. Knowing what will happen if the soul dew is used, Latios struggled with all of his might to stop Oakley.
Latios [Stop if you use the Soul dew, then there will be no more of Alto Mare.] Latios' telepathy didn't work since the cage was suppressing her powers. Latios tried to move his body but he felt as if the whole world was pressing his body on the ground. No matter how much, Latios struggled he couldn't move his body at all.

Oakley smirked at Latios and then entered the pond. The pond was about 30 meters long and 20 meters wide. Different water flowers were growing on the pond. The pond water was so pure that one could see the muddy ground beneath the ground.
Oakley swimmer to the center of the pond where there was a shiny orb placed right under the water. Seeing Oakley about to get the soul dew, Latios desperately roared as if trying to tell Oakley to stop. Latios even called for Bianca and Lorenzo to come and stop Oakley.

Oakley couldn't stop herself from grinning seeing the soul dew in front of her. She placed her hand under the lake water and grabbed the fist-size green shiny orb.
Ignoring Latios' constant roars, Oakley took out the shiny green orb from the pond water. As soon as Oakley did that, something happened all over the city of Alto Mare. The water in the whole city began to dry up and vanish. Seeing this countless people panicked. All the canals that were filled with water were now drying up. It was as if someone was sucking all the water.

Bianca who was painting the full moon night while sitting under a tree, suddenly saw the decrease in water. Under her eyes, the water level of the canal was decreasing. The water was falling down. Bainca immediately knew something must have happened to the soul dew. Bainca's family with Latios and Latias has been protecting the soul dew for many generations. Bainca stopped painting and immediately ran towards the secret garden.

Oakley came out with the shiney green orb in her right palm. While walking past Latios, "Latios be obident and stay here. Wait till we use this orb to control the DMA." Latios glared at Oakley, which she ignored as she walked past Latios and then exited the secret garden, leaving Latios caged.

The Alto Museum was located right next to the secret garden. Oakley walked to the museum with the shiney orb.
"Annie, I have sealed this whole place with signal jammer. Now even if that little girl returns, she won't able to stop us. It's time to resurrects the fossil Pokemon using the power of the soul dew then we will control the entire Alto Mare with the revived Pokemon army."
"Let's go." Both Annie and Oakley walked deeper into the museum where the DMA was located.

Meanwhile. Articuno and Latias flew at their full speed becuase both Itsuki and Sabrina was still injured. It was not safe for them to travel such long distance in their injured state. Flying above the Alto Mare, Articuno and Latias both legendary Pokemon sensed something was wrong.
Articuno! [Itsuki, look down.] Itsuki who was lost in his deep thought snapped out of his daze and followed Articuno's words. Itsuki's eyes widened in horror when he looked down. From the sky, Itsuki saw that the entire Alto Mare without any water. For a moment Itsuki felt, Articuno and Latias had played a prank on him and bough to him to a different place.

But closely looking down, Itsuki saw the same city but without any water. It was said that the water of Alto Mare sparkled in blue during night times. But tonight there was no water in the canals. All the canals were empty, devoid of any water.
Latias! [Something has happened to the soul dew.] Latias didn't wait for Itsuki and Articuno. She immediately went towards the secret garden.

Articuno! [What is this soul dew?] Articuno asked noticing the panicked look on Itsuki and Latias.
"Located in a small pond is the Soul Dew. If removed, it can be used to control the DMA, but this will cause all the water to drain from the city. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the two Eon Pokémon to protect the Soul Dew."

"The Soul Dew is used to guard Johto's, Alto Mare. It was given to an old couple in Alto Mare long ago after a Latios and a Latias saved the city from an evil force attacking it, and was subsequently hidden in the Secret Garden."

'If I remember correctly it was two female members of team rocket who searched for Soul Dew as well as the two current Legendary guardians of the city, Latios and Latias in the anime. I thought this event wouldn't happen since there was no more team rocket. It is also like my involvement in these world events has caused a butterfly effect. And now many things have changed as result.'
If the Soul Dew is attached to the Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare, anyone using the device can drown the city in water, block all exits in the city, and awaken the Fossil Pokémon in the city museum using the soul dew energy. However, doing this will also result in the Soul Dew using up all of its power and disappearing. It is implied that this Soul Dew contains the soul of the previous deceased Latios.
