Meanwhile, Sylveon's moon blast came and hit Surskit. Surskit was unable to dodge the purple color sphere that was the size of a football as she was focused on her ice attack.

Itsuki didn't lose his confidence seeing that the entire battlefield now was covered with a layer of ice. The thin layer of ice was making it hard for Sylveon to stand and run. Viola clearly has done this trick before with her other trainers.
"Don't worry Sylveon. Just relax." Sylveon took a deep breath to calm her beating heart. The first rule of a Pokemon battle is to not lose your calm.
"As expected of someone who has fought in the finals. Unlike most trainers who just would freak out or get agitated, you still remained calm."

Itsuki doesn't know whether he should feel proud for reaching that far in the period of 2 and half months or he should feel ashamed for losing even with all the knowledge about Pokemon, he lost to Cynthia.
Shaking his head Itsuki looked at Surksit.
"Sylveon, use Flame charge." With Itsuki's order, Sylveon covered her entire body in the fire. The blazing flame heat was enough to melt the thin layer of ice around her making it easier for Sylveon to move around.
All the Sylveon then charged at Surksit from all 3 sides.

Surskit! From her antenna, Surksit again fired a light blue volt of lightning. Surksit then slowly moved her head from left to right, destroying all the fake Sylveons in the process. Just when Surksit's ice beam destroyed the last Sylveon, for a moment Surksit was let completely confused. Surskit panicked, wondering where Sylveon was.
"Now go for it." Then she felt something was coming from her back. Before another second could pass, a powerful impact sent Surksit flying towards Itsuki.

It was a miracle that Surksit only had lost consciousness. If Sylveon had not held back from the beginning then there was no doubt that Surksit would have died from taking even the weakest attack of Sylveon.

Sylveon was trying to resist but she found that there were still some parts of the ground that was still covered in a thick layer of Ice. This was making it even more difficult for her. The friction on the layer of ice was instead helping Vivillon push Sylveon back.

"Sylveon it's time to use that move. Use last Resort." Sylveon's body suddenly became outlined in a golden aura, with orbs of energy being absorbed into her body. For a moment Viola seeing this showed a fearful expression. The golden aura then forms into a massive golden star in front of Sylveon's body.
