As a gym leader, Grant can't just accept his defeat and freely hand his badge to Cynthia and Itsuki. If he does that, people will think that Grant has become lazy. His gym badge will also start to lose its value.

Cynthia and Itsuki looked at each other, it was as if both of them were communicating with his eyes, and both of them nodded at the same time.

"I will go first."

"Since the Indigo league champion, herself wants to go first, I have a suggestion" Grant said with a mysterious smile

"What is it?" Cynthia asked with a confused look.

"Every gym leader in this world is forbidden from using Peak 4th-order or higher rank Pokemon against a challenger. Since both of your strengths are enough to rank you two as 5th-order trainers, let me use my 5th-order Pokemon as well."

"Well, fighting a weak beginner 4th-order would be boring. I don't mind."

"I don't mind either. In fact, I think this is an excellent idea. I was looking for an opponent to test my Pokemon's skills."

After both Grant and Cynthia took their places.

My referee has returned to his hometown for a few days." Both Cynthia and Itsuki were left speechless. Because most gym leaders would have multiple referees working for them.

Tyrantrum is a massive bipedal dinosaur-like Pokémon that resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It has craggy auburn rock-like scales covering most of its body, while its underbelly is gray and white. It has a large spiny white fringe around its neck. It has small arms with two sharp black claws and powerfully-built legs. Its feet are very large with three sharp black claws on each. It has many sharp white teeth on its lower jaw and craggy red fangs on its upper jaw. Tyrantrum has an orange spiked crest on its forehead and small white eyes. It has a thick, powerful tail with orange spiked formations at the tip.

Its overall appearance appears to be patterned after an old king with a white beard, wearing a golden crown and red robe open in the front with a high collar in the back.

[Tyrantrum has immense jaw strength, allowing it to easily tear apart both a large metal sheet and a car. During the time it roamed the Earth, Tyrantrum was considered to be unbeatable. Many scientists theorized that Tyrantrum may have feathers growing out of its body. Tyrantrum lived 100 million years ago. It's vicious but regal and magnificent, poise signified a kingly presence. At the top of the food chain, Tyrantrum had little to worry about other than finding food and were believed to essentially rule ancient jungles like kings—they ate anything and traveled anywhere they wanted to. Tyrantrum, however, often ended up being controlled by a certain other species of Pokémon—their own offspring Tyrunt. When two strong pokemon are facing each other on the battlefield, things always tend to get serious. The atmosphere of this battlefield was getting hot. While Cynthia wanted to claim her victory, Grant wanted to defend his name.

"Tyrantrum use Rock slide" A huge boulder appeared in front of Tyranttrum which he threw at Mitotic.

"Milotic use Dragon tail." Milotic's snake-like tail suddenly turned cyan color. When the boulder was about to hit her, her body moved like a snake and like a viper, her tail went forward and smashed the 5 meters big boulder into small pieces.
