Chapter 14

Kite didn't see any of this happenings as when Amber thought she saw him and her come across a lab, he saw something completely different. He was believed to be walking ahead of her in search for anything that would help them understand something useful or even come across that boy again.

"Ghostress, haven't we already been here?" He asked.

It threw him off when there was no response. Looking back his heart accelerated be in light speed when she was no where in sight.

"Ghostress?"

Suddenly a massive headache overcame his senses. As he held his head while groaning he heard a familiar laugh. His eyes narrowed ahead as he saw him again.

"Ike!"

He actually saw him, same age and same look. He didn't think as he ran after the boy. Looking around as he was in a different room with no sign of the boy, he kept his gaurd up.

"Ike, it's me.. please come out. I won't let them hurt you."

At that moment he heard a snap from behind. He quickly turned around and saw Ike but he was really little. "Bwother?"

It was all like a dream. Where none of it made sense but he went along with it anyway, not understanding why.

"I'm here Ike." He said while squatting down to the boy.

Seeing Ike holding something behind his back he walked up to Kite.

"Bwother, I'm scared.. please I don't want to be here." He said while crying.

"Ike come here."

The boy didn't hesitate to latch onto the taller male. As the two were in an embrace something else was latched onto Kites neck. His eyes shot open as he heard a click. The moment he did he felt all his energy drain within seconds. Falling to his knees he nearly collapsed on the ground but not until hearing, "I thought you were smart enough to see through my little trick.. but yet you were stupid enough the moment I found your weakness. How would you feel if I did this?"

Kite looked up with weak eyes. Instant tears piled up the moment he saw Ike up against the wall. Blood everywhere as if something mauled him alive. The worst part being he was still breathing.

"IKE!"

All still a cloudy mess in Kite's head, he saw his brothers eyes roll in the back of his head as he smiled with blood oozing from his lips. "Why did you do this Kite? Why didn't you save me Kite?"

It was as if the words stuck out. Kyle was putting it together. His brother has NEVER called him Kite before.

It was at that moment he saw his brother fade away and no one was around. However, one thing was real. Touching his neck he felt it. A power draining collar. Turning his head back he saw a girl with a cat mask and a sort of exposed outfit. She giggled as she squatted down to his face. "Seems like you'll be joining your girlfriend real soon."

His heart stopped for a second before processing what she meant. He grit his teeth as he growled at her. "Why are you all fighting for the visitors?! WHY?!"

"You will soon find out honey." She said while planting a solid kick to his face causing him to black out.
