A Suspicious Discovery

When I returned home, I found Rohan waiting for me. His inquisitive gaze met mine as he asked, "Where were you?"

I sighed, "Ufff! That traffic jam was terrible. I was stuck for an hour."

Rohan's curiosity piqued, "Why did you call me urgently?"

I decided to lead him to my soundproof secret room without revealing too much, and he followed without further questioning. Once inside, I closed the door, leaving him intrigued, "Are you suspecting something?"

"Relax," I reassured him. "I'll explain. Just sit down."

We both settled on the sofas with freshly brewed coffee. The spacious room had a hint of secrecy about it, with a bed tucked away in the corner.

I began, "Now, Ro, I know you're curious, and this is crucial."

Rohan nodded, prompting me to continue, "Have you noticed anything odd about our company's audit book?"

He replied, "Yes, Sona. I've been looking into our losses, and they seem concentrated in the southern zone."

I pondered, "Meaning, under Palli's influence. Their business keeps expanding."

Rohan concurred, "And Palli's are our biggest rivals."

"But," I added gravely, "I suspect something deeper. There's a mole within our company."

Rohan voiced his skepticism, "Our staff is trustworthy. How can we suspect everyone?"

I stressed, "We might not have a choice."

Rohan suggested, "We can spy on them discreetly."

I affirmed, "I need access to everyone, including Aryan."

Rohan questioned, "Aryan too? We'll spy on him?"

"Yes," I responded resolutely. "Business comes before everything. Do you have any suspects?"

I revealed, "Believe it or not, I suspect Aryan. I fell in love with him, but I can't be blind. His recent actions are suspicious. He forgave me too easily when I revealed my true feelings. And today, when you hugged and kissed me, his reaction was oddly composed. If he truly loves me, why does he fear losing me? I even asked him about leaving, and he dodged the question. I'm certain something is amiss with him. Keep a close watch, not only on Aryan but the entire staff."

Rohan acknowledged, "You're right. I've had my doubts about him too. I wanted to discuss this with you earlier, but I thought you wouldn't believe me. I can't ignore it now."

I emphasized, "Have you noticed how he always tries to eavesdrop on our conversations?"

Rohan promised, "Don't worry. I'll investigate immediately."

As we spoke, the sound of shattering glass interrupted us. I whispered anxiously, "Ro, could that be Aryan?"
