After the battle with Sigrun, Rosewisse, Viggo, and Brunnhilde were rested for half an hour until Rosewisse felt better. Between Viggo and Brunnhilde they adjusted Rosewisse's wing and made her scream from the pain, but with a little estus the inflammation and pain passed.

They stood in the center of the hall of the Valkyries that was now nothing more than a pile of rubble next to a waterfall that turned into a river that ended up in the Lake of the Nine Realms.

—Where are we going now?— asked Rosewisse —I would like to visit my master and tell her what happened—

Viggo smiled slyly and asked —Do you remember where you got the first dwarf blacksmithing manuals you gave me?—

—Yes, it was in the mines of Volunder— replied Rosewisse —south of here and north of the mountain of the Jotun—

—I remember you mentioned that there were huge veins of dwarf ore. I want to pick up some pigments—

—Ooooh— Rosewisse said with a broad smile —smart boy, you want to have your own mine at home—

—That's right, do you think you're able to take me flying?—

—Sure, no problem—

Rosewisse looked at Viggo, gestured with her index finger for him to bend down and so he did. She brought her lips closer and gave him a little kiss —it's the commission for transportation— she said with a beautiful smile. Viggo smiled, took her face with his right hand, and gave her a deep kiss. Rosewisse responded with the same intensity as she hugged him by the waist. However, someone coughed, they stopped their kiss and watched. Brunnhilde looked away with a red face like a tomato.

—Oooh, don't take it people, it was a loving moment— Rosewisse said with a bright smile —if you behave well, I'll let you try my flirtatious boy—

Viggo spanked her and asked —Since when have I become a transferable possession?—

Rosewisse stuck out the tip of her tongue in a fun and playful expression. She grabbed Viggo's face, gave him a kiss on the cheek and positioned herself behind him, but she frowned immediately —you know, this was really getting uncomfortable. Before it was because you were so tall, but now the damn armor makes it worse—

—Come on, just one more time— replied Viggo —the annoyance is at first, isn't it?—

—Just this once— Rosewisse replied, she hugged Viggo from behind and looked at Brunnhilde —come, follow us, even though I said it was a mine, it's a nice place—

—I have no choice— Brunnhilde replied in a bad mood, she had not even been considered, much less invited by her ancestor. In the end, she was still the poor queen and would never be a Valkyrie in every sense of the word. She looked at the stump of her missing arm and let out a sigh with a lot of desire to start crying. She didn't know what she was thinking, her life as a warrior and Valkyrie was over.

Rosewisse and Viggo rose to heaven and Brunnhilde accompanied them closely. They crossed the Lake of the Nine Realms heading south and went into the mountains and then rushed through a sinkhole in the earth several tens of meters in diameter. The descent was fast and dizzying until they reached an underground mine full of large pillars of a crystalline purple color. The space consisted of fifty meters high and wide and descended diagonally into the earth like a tunnel that seemed to have no end.

Rosewisse (while carrying Viggo) and Brunnhilde flapped their wings and held their position for a few minutes, then retreated into the cave to an area where there was a flat floor of earth and stone. Different staggered slopes were coming with rails and wagons to transport the materials.

Rosewisse let Viggo down and the latter worried that there were no enemies in sight as the Valkyries descended.

—It seems like a quiet place— said Viggo, seeing that there was no trace of draugrs or any other form of undead, but what really worried him was that he was far enough away from Thamur's corpse and where his master, Baldur and the witch Freya would face each other. Rosewisse had enough of struggles to continue to face the doubts of knowing who to support.

—Yes, it is, of course, that someone came and filled it again with monsters— Rosewisse replied standing next to Viggo and folding her arms.

—I want to rest— said Viggo.

—What a coincidence, but...— Rosewisse replied and looked at Brunnhilde who was a couple of steps behind them looking at the ground.

—Well, I said rest, nothing loving—

—Yes, you're right, that would be great, Sigrun hit me enough—

Viggo took his bag and took out two beds. One was the one they normally occupied and the other was the huge and luxurious one that belonged to Ivaldi. Of course, they were courteous to Brunnhilde, but they weren't fools either. Brunnhilde would occupy theirs and they would occupy Ivaldi's.

That way the hours passed, they felt a few tremors, but no one came out of the mine. Rosewisse was very tired and Brunnhilde was meditating on her things. Only Viggo, through his clairvoyance, investigated the distance and saw the combat of the witch Freya against his master to protect the murderer Baldur. Viggo also had a mother and knew that they would always forgive anything to their children, but Viggo himself always thought there was a limit. Now, he did not understand very well why his master put himself in such a predicament for Freya, it was not worth such an effort to antagonize that fearsome woman. It would have been even smarter to let Baldur kill Freya and then he would kill Baldur. The latter would not leave him alone, so he could claim self-defense.

Viggo thought about how Odin would value this move, surely, he would give it a three considering that one is a suicidal move and ten a perfect move. The only good thing was that, because of the distance, the conflict between the corpse of Thamur and the serpent of the world did not reach here. Rosewisse slept at ease, Brunnhilde fell asleep after torturing herself enough with her problems, and Viggo slept peacefully with a smile on his face. All his affairs in Midgar were settled and now he only had how to solve the problem of killing Odin. That would be an interesting question to answer, each of the options was more fun than the last, but you also couldn't trust it or that guy would kill you.

Viggo carefully got out of bed and took his leather bag hanging from one of the corners of the bed. Now he was bare-chested, red-robed, and bare feet. This place was unusually warm, so it didn't cause him any problems. Viggo moved away from the beds and walked through the open space that preceded the pillars of minerals that after processing it would be transformed into dwarf ore. Viggo brought his index and middle finger to his forehead and touched the space between his eyebrows. The next instant the throne of the sovereign appeared. Viggo sat on the huge seat made of white marble and looked at the ore pillars. He left the leather bag on his legs and put his hand inside. Surprisingly, the first thing he touched was one of the great espadones of the travelers. Viggo took out the great sword almost as big and wide as he was and lifted it pointed at the ceiling. He didn't really know why this weapon gave him such a nostalgic feeling as something that was so natural and his own. He had never taken a traveler's great sword. Viggo pointed forward and was left thinking about the feeling of the gun. Maybe it wasn't the gun itself. Maybe it was the purpose, the feeling, or the intention that was created.

—Whose name is war, isn't he?— he muttered to himself.

Viggo shook with a smile, put the great sword in the leather bag and took out Ivaldi's mask. Viggo put the mask over his face and sat with his back against the backrest as he looked forward. Within ten seconds the energy mesh spread over the entire surface in front of him, from the floor that lasted ten meters to the huge purple pillars with a crystalline luster. However, at the time of identifying them, several rectangles appeared in the mask viewer that warned that the material was unknown.

—What the hell?— muttered Viggo, his voice choked by the mask. He brought out the turquoise gem with golden engravings called Ivaldi's mind. Viggo channeled mana and the mask did something totally new. The mesh of energy disappeared from his vision and in place appeared a kind of celestial aura emerging from Ivaldi's mind. Viggo continued to supply mana to Ivaldi's mind, but he took off his mask and saw that nothing was happening in the physical world. He put on the mask again and saw that the aura continued to spread. At the same time, rectangular boxes began to appear in his field of vision indicating that he had identified the ore and other derivatives within the veins.

Viggo got up and left the leather bag on the sovereign's throne as he moved towards the purple ore pillars with a crystal-clear luster. Arriving in front of the ore, a long vertical box appeared with a broad description of what it was. The title read "Low purity vibranium (5%)" Throughout the box it explained the different processing methods and that it would only reach thirty percent purity. In such a state it was called "Soft Svartalfheim Steel" that served to make low-level armor, but that was not the limit and with two other processes it reached new levels of strength.

Viggo took off his mask, left Ivaldi's mind on the mask and brought his hand to the purple pillar with a crystalline glow. Then he looked at Ivaldi's mask and mind on his left hand and thought.

—I must be careful— he murmured —I'd better ask Kiara—

Ivaldi's mind was an intelligent device that could project images and dismantle them on various levels, as if you could project the construction of a building, separate it from its facade, after the walls, floors until only leaving the foundations. However, the last exercise told Viggo that the "mind of Ivaldi" was just like a normal mind and could scan things, identify them, and maybe even learn new concepts.

—Viggo, I'm hungry— said Rosewisse, sitting on the bed, about thirty yards away.

Viggo turned around and saw his beautiful silver-haired Valkyrie scratching her eyes with her hands. Viggo returned to the sovereign's throne, put away Ivaldi's mask and mind, vanished the sovereign's throne and walked back to the bed where Rosewisse lay drowsy.

—What do you want to eat?— asked Viggo.

However, Rossewisse took him by the arm, pulled him to the bed and lay on her side as she hugged him. She continued to sleep, and Viggo was helpless in front of such a tender face. Viggo left the leather bag on the bed, but then it slipped and fell to the floor. That didn't matter to him, and he dedicated himself to hugging Rosewisse.

—You did great— Viggo whispered quietly, which made Rosewisse smile silly.
