Dragon Tongue

Michael quickly notices the enemy reinforcements coming around the side of the force and steps out to obstruct them. The sight of Sorkas and Jernil forces a quiet chuckle from his chest, but he stifles it as he prepared to receive the army of conjured creatures.

Sorkas and Jernil quickly notice him and both shout "YOU AGAIN!?" simultaneously, clearly, they remembered Michael better than he did them.

"We won't lose to you again! And it ain't a duel this time!" Sorkas growls and starts throwing fireballs towards Michael. Jernil doesn't cast anything for now, instead, beginning to channel the Magicka required to form an Ice Spear spell.

Michael ignores all of this, however, effortlessly Blinking away from a Fireball and pointing a finger at Jernil. "Laguna Blade." he casts, but the duo seemed to be anticipating it, as two nearby Frost Atronachs literally throw themselves in front of Jernil before Michael had even cast the spell.

The bolt of lightning shoots towards Jernil and easily penetrates the two Atronachs, but their bodies appeared to be enough to alter the trajectory of the attack just enough to avoid Jernil. A couple nearby Atronach's fall over dead instead however, their bodies not disintegrating due to them being conjured with a ritual and Frost Salt.

Michael shakes his head at the Laguna Blade's failure and simply Blinks forwards, throwing down a Smokebomb which both silenced and blinds the two Nords. Both were taken so thoroughly off guard that they didn't even notice Michael sliding Derflinger into Jernil's chest. He isn't even able to let out a whimper due to his silenced state, causing him to simply fall backwards, dead.

Despite one of their summoner's death, only two Dremora disappear from the battlefield, leaving the rest still fighting. A couple tries to charge Michael, but he just Blinkstrikes behind Sorkas and beheads him, causing one other Dremora to disintegrate. There were two left, however, meaning their master was still around, probably inside the cave...

Elsewhere in the battlefield, Illococoo was finally getting the chance to use her Thu'um. She'd been accompanying Charlotte til now, and she hadn't left any creatures left for her to experiment on. Luckily, her attention had been drawn by the Atronachs that Michael had started fighting, leaving Illococoo alone among the other Apprentices.

"Oi! Loco, get back and let the men handle this!" Borvir shouts as he slams his axe into the head of yet another zombie.

"My name is Illococoo, not 'Loco!'" she states in exasperation. Most people in Skyrim hadn't been able to pronounce her name properly so receiving new nicknames had been a common occurrence... Not that she appreciated it, it was her Big Sis that'd given her that name, and she was proud to wear it.

"Whatever, just get back, lasses shouldn't be at the front of a fight anywa-"

"Hiiarrgh!" Yisra's voice echoes out as her conjured Daedric sword decapitates two zombies with a single slash. Borvir steps back from the fight for a moment and looks down at his axe, feeling pretty emasculated right about now...

She turns to face her next opponent but catches his gaze causing her to frown, "Stop gawking and start fighting you fool!"

"She's right, stop showing off and concentrate." his brother, Rundi says, pulling him back just in time to avoid a lunge from a zombie. It wouldn't have hit however, as Illococoo kicks the creature in the chest and sends it tumbling backwards as if it'd just been punted by a giant.

"Yeah! Let the 'men' handle this!" the dragon girl laughs as she casually smacks another corpse with a back-handed slap, causing its head to spin around as if it were a Disney character. "Wait, watch this!" she suddenly announces, taking a step back and sucking in a deep breath.

"Watch what-"

"FUS RO!" Illococoo shouts, her voice echoing not only through the battlefield, but probably over at Winterhold as well.

*BOOOM!*

Immediately after her shout, a shockwave explodes outwards, smashing into the undead army and instantly destroying ten of them, all while sending the rest stumbling backwards from the force.

"W-was that the Thu'um!?" Borvir exclaims, looking around to see if everyone else had just witnessed what he had. "Tell me I'm just seeing things!? Rundi!?"

"No, that just happened..." the eldest of the brothers mutters, the hand holding his axe trembling slightly, though, he couldn't tell if it was in fear or excitement...

"Illucuco! You can use the Thu'um!? What're you, the Dragonborn or something!?" Yisra jokingly asks, causing the dragon girl to let out a light, if strained laugh.

Again, using the Thu'um was taxing for her, and while she'd improved compared to the first time she'd used it. Using a two-word shout was still quite hard on her.

"Can you guys stop joking around and get back to fighting!? Or have you forgotten about the zombies in front of you!?" one of the Apprentices who'd been watching all of this shouts, causing the group to nod and get back to work.

Illococoo stepped back went to go help assist Charlotte, she wouldn't be able to use the Thu'um again for a while, maybe a couple days, so she'd play it safe for the rest of this.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the time Charlotte arrives to assist Michael, most of the conjured creatures had already been slaughtered. All that was left were a couple Storm Atronachs that'd been sat at the back the entire time, and the remains of the other summoned creatures.

She waves her staff which throws many man-sized spears of ice to utterly decimate the Atronachs, leaving just her, Michael, and a bunch of zombies left in the area... That is, until a figure steps from the nearby cave with a look of utter fury on his face.

"YOU COLLEGE DOGS, YOU STEAL MY ARTIFACTS, KILL MY STUDENTS, AND FORCE ME TO THIS STATE!? I'LL TEAR OUT YOUR SOULS AND PUT THEM ON MY MANTLE!" Malyn screams, causing a few Apprentices to look at him in surprise, while a few had expected him to be responsible, many held too much respect for the master to make such dire assumptions... Fortunately for them, his attention was solely on Michael and Charlotte who'd just destroyed the forces he and his students had been building up.
