While Subaru continued to look at the sculpture of Yasaka, Kaji decided to add some more detail to the nine foxtails. Subaru seeing Kaji continue to improve the sculpture wrote something down and left to see the other sculptures. As he walked he soon found a sculpture covered by a cloth, and Ram, and Rem standing beside it discussing something.
Subaru walked closer, but the moment the twins saw him they turned towards him. "Oh, Barusu you must be attracted to our superior artistry skills, well there's no helping it we will give you permissions to ley your filthy eyes upon our, creation." Ram said while Rem just smiled.
"Ignoring most of the words, yes I came to hear to see your sculpture." Subaru said while looking at the cloth-covered sculpture.
"But did you guys see how amazing Kaji's sculpture was, it was simply breathtaking." Subaru spoke, while closing his eye trying to remember the sculpture of Kaji.
"Humph, of course, Kaji made a great one, be we won't lose either. And you should be grateful that we are willing to even show you insignificant self what we made." Ram proclaimed whit a cute snort.
After a bit more banter the twins revealed their sculpture to the world to see while they had proud smiles on their faces. Subaru on the other hand was surprised to see the sculpture, it was Kaji but not simply Kaji. It was two sides of him one was his calm and colted form, while the other was him with a blood-chilling smile, and a sword in hand.
It was as if the two sides of Kaji were clashing with each other one was a gentle, and caring one, while the other was cruel and dominant. Subaru didn't know what to say it was a good sculpture, but it was missing something but he just couldn't put his finger on it.
While Subaru was looking at the sculpture made by the twins, Roswaal showed up. He looked at the sculpture with some surprise, as the sculpture was the same peson but two very different sides of him. Not to mention he knew that Kaji wasn't as kind as he looked, he knew how strong the boy was. But at the same time, he knew that Kaji had some sort of goal in mind, but so did he. This made Roswaal wonder what kind of mess the Oni will cause, he wanted to open his book and see if he could find an answer to his question, but he could do that later.
"Oh Roswaal, you're here too? What do you think of this one?" Subaru asked the clown makeup-wearing mage.
"It's quite diiiiiifferent from the norm wouldn't you so, Suuuuubaru-kun?" Roswaal responded as he continued to look at the sculpture.
"I'm giving it a solid 8, it's good, but it seems to be missing something." Subaru said while the twins looked at him.
"Hmmm." Reosawll mused before showing seven fingers to the twins indicating that he gave them a seven out of ten.
It wasn't a bad score but the twins weren't happy as they started looking for what could be wrong with the sculpture. While Subaru left to see some other sculptures until one caught his attention. It was another sculpture of Kaji but this time it was even more surprising.
It was Kaji sitting on a pile of corpses of mabeasts, His face was covered by his hair, while his sword was stabbed into the ground. He looked simply badass, but there was one thing, a Meili made from ice was hugging his neck from behind with a bright smile.
The sculpture was good, Subaru would have even given it a ten if not for the ice Meilei included in the sculpture. But he looked at Meili who was fixing some parts of the sculpture could only assume that this was her sculpture. She was clearly doing her best, therefore Subaru wrote down her score and left to see some other sculptures.
When Kaji was done fixing Yasaka's tails, he had this urge to make some more sculptures, and he did. He made two smaller sculptures of the younger version of Ram, and Rem. He made a sculpture of his younger self, it was like a picture from when the three Oni met Yasaka.
After he was done he decided to look at the sculptures tath were made by others, at the same time he wanted to show what he made to the twins. He walked in the direction where the two of them were supposed to be and found them trying to improve their sculpture. He was surprised by what he saw, he was surprised that they saw him like this, while he waited for them to finish up.
After finishing up with their sculpture, the twins noticed Kaji, and started showing him their creation, and were waiting for his opinion on the matter. But instead of telling them what he thought about it, he asked if they wanted to see his sculpture, to which they agreed almost instantly.
After he led them to his sculpture, Kaji looked at the two as their eyes widened in surprise, and at the same time longing. He knew how they felt as he patted their heads.
