Wanting a bigger sake cup

After some time, the three judges decided to declare the results of the sculpture competition. Subaru, Roswaal, and the village chief walked to one specific sculpture while getting the attention of everyone else. The three of them started talking about every sculpture and how many points, they have each of them. Surprisingly three different sculptures got full points, which were Kaji's sculpture, Meili's sculpture, and Petra's sculpture.

All three sculptures were placed next to each other, and the winner will be decided by the votes that the judges will be placed on each of them. And the three of them only had one vote each. Everyone was looking at the judges with curiosity, and expectation, they wanted to know who's sculpture would win.

"Alright, everyone gathers around, we will be declaring our votes, and explaining why we voted for the said Sculpture." Subaru called everyone together while waving his hands around so that everyone noticed him.

"The first to place his vote will be the village chief. Well then chief, tell us about your vote, and why you choose to vote for the sadi sculpture." Subaru asked the old man while looking at him.

"Ohohoho, well then let this old man begin. First, all of the sculptures were made beautifully, I had no bad words for any of them. But one of them was different, far more unique, than any other it was the rabbit made by Petra, it's just so different from anything I have seen or could imagine. And because of that, I have to give my vote for the strange, but at the same time fascinating rabbit." The old man spoke with exaggerated movements of his arms.

After the old man, Subaru was the next one to step up, as it was his turn to vote. The boy walked a bit forward so everyone could see him, he stood straight while looking at the three sculptures. Subaru clearly was uncomfortable when looking at the rabbit that the chief just voted for. After all, he was the one to make the said sculpture while he tried to help petra improve her original sculpture resulting in a mecha/tank-like snow rabbit.

"I have decided to give my vote, to Kaji's sculpture. Why, you might ask, well it's simply because it was made with feelings. When you look at it you could feel the warmth the one who made this sculpture had for his creation." Subaru said while looking at the chest area of the sculpture of Yasaka.

The tension was rising, the last judge, Roswall came out with his usual smile. Everyone looked at him with eyes full of expectations, they wanted to know what the lord of the land they were in was going to say. Everyone went quiet as they tried to hear what he was about to say.

"I muuuuust say, that all of the sculptures are amazing. Buuuut I place my vote on the snow rabbit tooooo, as it was the most imaginative sculpture heeeeeere." Roswaal spoke, but before he could continue the villagers started praising Petro who didn't look all that happy with winning. Subaru on the other hand was looking at everyone with a bit of a frown, but what could he do.

After the winner of the competition was decided, the so-called special prize was given to Petra. And the special prize was...…Potato chips, that Subaru had still saved to this day, after appearing in this world.

While everyone was celebrating Kaji was listening to the twin girls' complain, about how his sculpture should have been the one to win the said competition. Kaji just smiled and nodded, at the two while they ranted and walked to the kitchen to prepare for their own indoor celebration of sorts.

Everyone was doing their own thing as the sun started hiding behind the mountains bit by bit, dyeing the sky in orange color. The villagers walked home while the kids tried out the potato chips Petra had won. While the villagers were returning back to their homes, Kaji, Meili, and the twins were preparing a room for their own small celebration.

After the preparations were complete, Kaji invited everyone else so they could start the celebration. Sono all of the residents of the mansion were together in the room, while Roswaal pulled out some wine bottles that Subaru found while cleaning up just before Puck's mana discharge period.

While Roswaal offered some drinks to Emilia, Puck, and Subaru. Kaji pulled out his own sake cup, which was round, and deep while being red-colored. He poured some sake into it, but the moment he did the twins demanded that he poured them some sake as well. He didn't mind doing so, and poured some into their own cups, as the three of them drank peacefully.

While Drinking Kaji, remembered how white beard drank sake, with a massive sake cup. He decided to make a sake cup as big as white beards, he had a strange urge to beat everyone and anyone in drinking. And a bigger cup would let him drink more, not to mention the thought that it would look cool, drinking from a massive sake cup that is.

While drinking he started talking with Roswaal, and Ram the only people who could drink alcohol without passing out. He would have talked with Rem, but she passed out after a couple of cups of sake, and was sleeping while resting her head on Kaji's lap.
