The wind blows, pushing against the leaves in the trees. The grass dances alongside the trees as birds are happily chirping. But then a strange glowing orb appears and descends to the ground. The orb touches the ground for a few seconds, and after that, it disappears leaving a sleeping human on the ground.
His skin is tan and his hair is brown, he wears a simple blue shirt, a pair of shorts, and some shoes.
There's a strange device on the human's hip. It chimes as the screen glows blue. After a few minutes, the human opens his eyes. The sun could be seen, but a thick fog blocks it. The human's eyes widen as he quickly sits up. He looks around, and indeed the fog covers everything in the forest.
The human stands up as he listens. He hears the birds chirping, but what catches his attention are faint musical notes playing. He begins walking towards the notes as he cautiously moves through the woods. The fog grew closer as he walked through the woods.
Then the human finds a pathway through two giant boulders since his vision was decreased by the fog, he depicted them as boulders. He walks through the pathway seeing birds fly away from a tree in the pathway. Then he makes it to a tipped-over tree that was hollow.
The Human walks through the tree and sees the fog clear up. He looks up to see a very blue sky and white clouds. He tilted his head as the sun beamed on him. Then his vision is focused on a sword on a stone pedestal, and behind the pedestal is a gigantic tree that seems to have a face.
The sword's handle was purple and what seemed could be wings were the guard of the handle. The blade looked like it didn't age. The human walked toward the sword as he looked around. He then glanced at the tree before returning to the sword. He touched the handle with just his finger, and he saw was a flash.

The human quickly jumps back as he looks at the sword. Then the tree creaks as it yawns, "Who is that...?" The human gasps as he stares at the tree. "Did I doze off again?" The tree glances around and spots the human, "Hm? And who might you be young one?" It takes a while, but the human responds, "I'm... Carlos."
"Strange, I was expecting another Hylian." The tree says after noticing Carlos' ears, "Wait, are you a Hylian?" Carlos tilts his head and takes deep breaths, "What's a Hylian? And how are you talking?!"
Carlos: 'Crap! I think I spilled too much!'
The tree raises a brow before having a chuckle, "I don't think I've never seen a species not native to Hyrule before... But that's a pleasant surprise." The tree sighs, "Since you seem to be new, I'll tell you some answers... You may not know about the events that happened 100 years ago." Carlos sits down on the ground as he nods.
"Back then, it was a prosperous time for Hyrule, all was well for the Hylians..." The tree begins, "...The chosen knight had the sword that sealed the darkness, the princess was working on to discover her ancient power, there were these things that were useful against the evil before, everything was fine..." The tree looks at the sword, "...Until the Calamity hit."
"The things were tainted with malice and started attacking the Hylians, the knight fell as he protected the princess with his last breath..." Then the tree looks at Carlos, "...But not all things were lost, the princess awakens her power and with a knight gravely injured, sent the sword that seals the darkness here." Carlos looks at the sword, "So the knight was Link?"
"Wait how did you know his name?" the tree gasps. "When I touched the grip of the sword, I saw this vision which a voice said his name, and the fate of Hyrule rests with him." Carlos points at the sword. "Well, what you heard was the princess herself, Zelda."
Carlos looks at the sword, 'So that's the Sword that seals the darkness... I gotta find Link and give him the sword, I don't know if I could make it on my own.' Carlos slightly grits his teeth. "Is something on your mind Carlos?" The tree raises a brow. "...Then I'll do my part, and help Link fulfill his duty, by being on his side in his time of need!" Carlo quickly stands and clenches his fist.
"It doesn't matter if I'm not a chosen knight, I gotta help somehow!" Carlos raises his fist at the tree. "My, you're a determined one..." The tree chuckles, "...But that sword is a test to see who can wield it, and I can say that you're not yet ready for that task."
"But I think I heard something rise from the ground next to me, perhaps you could investigate that?" The tree smiles at Carlos. Carlos nods as he runs under a root, then he meets a strange structure.
It has symbols and those symbols glow blue. Carlos gets up and sees a pedestal, then he notices the device on his hip. 'What is this?' Carlos raises a brow as he grabs it and looks at it. he then looks back at the pedestal, which looks like it has an eye in the middle. Carlos swipes the device on the pedestal and it played a chime. The doors opened and revealed a platform.
Carlos nodded and stands on the platform. It plays a chime as the platform starts descending...
