Chapter 13: Worried

When Zavi realized that there was someone beside him, he turned her head. Sure enough, he saw Airyna who was focused on reading the book beside him. Ignoring, he continued reading his book again.

During the break, they both were not intended to go to the canteen, as they were both immersed in reading their books. They also didn't make the slightest sound until the bell finally rang that required them to stop reading their books. They abruptly got up from their chairs and they both looked each other at the same time.

"Excuse me, I must go to class." Airyna said with her head bowed and then immediately left the library to attend the next class. As he did not want to be late for his class too, Zavi immediately left the library to his class.

When the school was over, finally the bell rang… all the students naturally rushed out of their classrooms to leave the school. At this time, Airyna was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. However, instead of the bus coming, Angel passed by in the luxury car she was driving with and her friends inside. The car stopped right in front of Airyna, and Angel immediately opened the window afterwards.

"Hey Nerd, I'm sorry that I didn't bother you during your break… I'm sure you miss me, don't you? Okay then, let me just bother you now, right, Girls!" Angel said to her friends inside the car.

"Agree, it's a pity that her face seems that she likes to be disturbed, that's all right now." Zobby chimed in.

"Okay then, I can't stand it either. Lexa, hurry up. Give it to me!" Angel said and immediately closed the window.

"Okay," Lexa replied and opened the rear window, then splashed Airyna with sweet iced tea.

"Ah!" Airyna screamed when her clothes got soaked by the iced tea. Angel abruptely left, leaving Airyna drenched by it.

"Fortunately, I haven't changed my uniform." Airyna muttered with a gloomy smile. Airyna rushed to the gas station to change her uniform.

After changing her uniform, she immediately returned to the bus stop and just remembered that she must go back to Zavier's apartment, instead of hers. Unfortunately, she was not aware of the exact location of the apartment. Finally, she can't help but take her cellphone out of her bag to contact Zavier. But when she checked her contacts, she just remembered that she did not have his number yet. And just when she wanted to call Auntie Mina, her cell phone suddenly turned off. She tried hard to restart it, but to no avail. It looked like the cellphone running out of battery at the moment.

"What's the matter?" Airyna asked herself. She did not want to go back to her home as she would be scolded by her parents. Moreover, she also did not remember any phone number at her contacts at this time. Finally she decided to walk along the street she had passed this morning to get to the apartment. Why didn't she just take a taxi? The reason was because she did not know the exact location. She just thought that it would be easier for her to remember the way home if she went over there by foot.

While she was walking, she never complained of being tired at all. Sometimes she walked with a smile at her red, luscious lips. The distance from school to Zavier's apartment was indeed very far. It was evident that this morning she was almost late for school as she didn't know how far the distance was. Maybe you won't believe it, but Airyna has been walking for about two and a half hours. And she began to see that the sky was getting darker. It looked like it was going to be raining soon.

"Ah, it's starting to drizzle, but I don't think it's too far away." Airyna muttered, as she continued on her walk in the midst of the drizzle rain that had started to turn into heavy one.

"It's okay, I'll change my clothes when I'm back home," said Airyna to herself as she was about to be drenched in heavy rain.

"Where is she now?" Zavier asked to himself when he realized that his wife had not come home yet.

He had tried to call Airyna many times, but there was no answer though. Hold on, where did he get her number from? It was from Zivanna, his mother. Yesterday, Zivanna sent him a message with Airyna's number. Apparently his mother knew that her son did not intend to ask his wife about it directly.

Zavier furiously took the car Rynnas and left the apartment to look for her. But when he was inside the car, he just remembered that he had no idea where he should look for her. Ah, he couldn't help but intend to ask her mother about the location of her school. He looked for his mother's number in his contacts.

"Hello, Dear. What's up?" Zivanna asked from the other side when the call was connected.

"Which school does Airyna go?" Zavier asked to the point indifferently.

"Oh, Zavier?! You don't know which school does your wife go?" Zivanna was surprised that made Zavier sigh harshly.

"Where is it?" Zavier demanded an answer from the mother.

"She goes to the same schools as you, Son." Zivanna replied. Hearing that, Zavier widened his eyes in surprise. Indeed, it wasn't long before he went to the school, but he did not see Airyna there.

"Thank you." Zavier said and ended the call. Soon, he drove the car heading for the school.

And sure enough, on the way to the school, he saw Airyna who was walking drenched in the heavy rain. When he abruptly stopped the car right in front of her, she was surprised. He got out of the car with the umbrella he was using that made her even more shocked.

"What are you doing here?!" Zavier snapped as she was already frantic when he saw her drenched body. Being scolded, she lowered her head in fear.

"G—go home," she replied fearfully and backed away from him.
