"Excuse me, Ma'am. But how do you know that I was there?" I asked perplexedly.
"Ohhh ... a student came to class and told me." Her answer made me curious about the person who helped me. Why was the person so kind to me?
"Aah well, Ma'am. Thank you then..." Afterwards, she went past me in a haste. I went straight to the class to get my bag. And when I went over my seat, it turned out that my bag wasn't there.
"Hey Nerd... what are you looking for?" Angel asked with her friends following behind.
"..." I just ignored her and kept looking for my bag under the desk and somewhere else.
"Hahaha, poor you... Well, I'll tell you, you must be looking for your worn-out bag, right? I just happened to see your bag flying into a tree branch." Hearing that, it made my eyes widened.
"Where is it?" I asked in a slightly panicked.
"Well... just try, I already told you earlier. Anyway, it's on a tree branch... Okay, good luck on looking, bye Nerd..." Afterwards, she went out of the classroom with her friends following behind. I rushed into the bacRynnard of the school to check whether my bag was there or not. I went there because there were many shady trees that might be an exact place for Angel and her gangs to put my bag.
Author POV.
When Airynna was in the school yard, she looked for her bag. And sure enough, it turned out that Angel had put her bag one a branch of the tree in the bacRynnard. At the moment, she was very confused about how to get her bag on such very tall tree. She even had the intention to climb. But alas, she was not feeling well to climb at this time. And when she was trying to reach it using a twig near her feet, she suddenly felt that someone was standing right next to her. She turned to her right and found Zavi who was now also gazing at her. For a moment both of their eyes locked, Zavi was cognizant and then met her gaze to the tree in front of her.
"W—what are you doing?" Airynna asked as she was wondering why Zavi was here right now.
"And you?" Zavi replied.
"Ah, I want to get my bag there," she replied while pointing her finger to her bag. Soon, Zavi walked over the tree where the bag was stuck on its branch and climbed it that made her surprised.
"Z—Zavi, please don't ... you'll fall," she said timidly.
"Be quiet." Zavi replied and then had managed to take her bag. Soon, he got down from the tree smoothly and handed over the bag to her.
"A—ah, thank you." Airynna said sincerely, giving her sweet smile.
"Okay." Zavi replied shortly and leaving her dumbfoundedly there.
"He's so kind," she murmured unwittingly. She then rushed back to go home as she was worried if Zavier would be angry again if she came home very late.
But once she was in front of the bus stop, she just remembered that she still forgot the address. She picked up his phone and sent a message to Zavier.
Chatting On.
"Excuse me, Zavier, but may I ask the full address of your apartment?" She did not wait for a long while, as Zavier immediately replied her.
"(Sending share location)" Well, although it was only a share location message, but she was happy as Zavier was willing to answer her message.
"Thank you."
Chatting Off.
Once she got the address, she took a cab that happened to be passing by. She mentioned the address to the driver and finally she reached the apartment within less than 1 hour.
"Just take the change, Sir," she said to the driver after she got out of the car.
"Wow, thank you very much...," he replied and started to drive his car leaving the apartment yard.
Once she got into the apartement, she did not see Zavier everywhere. She went to the bedroom and changed her clothes. As she had no time to do laundry yesterday, she began to wash dirty clothes that had piled up in machine washing. Frankly, she was still very dizzy at the moment, but she was aware that she must carry out her duties.
Not long afterwards, when she was absorbed in her activities, she did not realize that someone was watching from quite far away. Yes, Zavier…. He had just come home from school. Once he arrived at home, he saw his wife was washing quite a lot of dirty clothes. He decided to change his clothes in the bedroom as Airynna had used the bathroom for doing the laundry. Speaking of which…. as the bathroom was inside the bedroom, he hoped that she will not get out of before he changed his clothes. But he thought a moment and asked to himself, why did he not just change his clothes in the library as it was more secure and she was certainly not going to catch him?
Once Zavier finished changing clothes, Airynna got out of the bathroom carrying a big basket with many clothes she already had dried in the washing machine. As he clearly saw her pale face, he walked over her to offer his help.
"Let me help." Zavier took over the basket and put it at the side of the room .
"Thank you." Airynna responded with a forceful smile that somehow made him upset.
" You're sick." He said indifferently.
"Ah, n—not…." She replied nervously.
"It's a statement, not a question." Zavier said again that made her remained silent.
"Well, sorry...." She said and bowed her head.
"Why do you always apologize?" He snapped as he was upset to notice that she always apologized even though she did not commit any wrongdoing.
"Ah, i—it...." Being nervous, her words trailed off.
"Forget it, get some rest." He said firmly.
"Ok—kay." Airynna then got some rest while Zavier got out of the room, leaving her in the bedroom.
