'Airynna POV.
Once arriving at school, I rushed into the classroom. As I sat down, I saw a folded sheet of paper on the table. And when I opened it, it turned out to be a paper containing despicable words. Not long after, Angel and her friends went over my seat.
"Morning, Nerd. How are you today? How was it yesterday? Did many people look at you on the bus?" Angel asked me and chuckle.
"...." I chose to remain silent, I wasn't in the mood to reply her.
"Huh... it's hard when you talk to the nerd in our class," she said again and her friends laughed at it. As for me, I remained silent. I thought like, what was so funny?
"Forget it, Angel. Let's just go to the canteen... I heard that the teachers have a meeting today. We can go to class after the break." Lexa said.
"Hah? Really? Come on, let me treat you all today." Angel replied and invited all her friends to leave the classroom heading for the canteen.
"Wow, you're really the best...." Lexa and her other friends flattered Angel. I was glad that they all did not bother me anymore. Usually when the teacher held a meeting, the students were allowed to go to the library. And without waiting any longer, I shortly rushed to the library. I also brought my lunch box to enjoy during the break.
Author POV.
Once arrived at the library, Airynna sat down in her usual place with the book she had taken earlier. As she sat down, she glanced at the empty space that Zavi usually had a seat there. Without thinking too much about it, she got carried away in reading her book.
An hour later, she felt someone was sitting next to her. She turned to see whether it was Zavi or not. And sure enough, this time she saw Zavi was holding his cellphone with the earphones plugged in his ears. Feeling dizzy, Airynna turned away to her book again and shut her eyes for a moment. She intented to soothe the dizziness that kept stabbing her head.
Before long, when Airynna could not stand it anymore, she finally decided to put off her reading and leaned her head against the wall next to her with her eyes shut. Zavi glanced to her for a moment, but soon the recess bell rang, he took out his lunch box that he brought from home and opened it. Reluctantly, Airynna opened her eyes again to grab her lunch too. She took the lunch box that she had placed next to her and opened it to reveal four slices of her homemade sandwich. She was really dizzy when she turned her head, so she didn't dare to turn to Zavi to see what he brought for his lunch today.
Once finishing all the sandwiches, the bell rang. Well, Airynna had indeed eaten her sandwich solemnly, so it took quite a while to finish them all. She then got up from her seat and started walking outside the library. Unfortunately, just a few steps, she felt as if her head was being stabbed by thousands of nails and needles and her shoulders like being crushed by some big stones. Soon, she felt all the dark and hazy around her. Well, after that she passed out. Seeing her fainted, Zavi rushed to catch her weak body to the School Health Unit room in a haste. Even so, his face remained indifferent.
Once arriving at the quiet School Health Unit room, Zavi immediately laid down her body on a small bed. Unintentionally, he looked at her name tag. Well, he totally forgot the name of the person he brought here at this time. He then reached out his hand to touch her forehead. He furrowed his brow when he felt her high temperature. In the library earlier, he just thought that she was just sleepy, and he didn't think that she was ill.
'Airynna POV.
When I slowly opened my eyes, my headache was unrelenting. And after my eyes were fully opened, I was able to tell that now I was lying on the School Health Unit bed. Ah, I remember when I was in the library earlier, my head was dizzy and I started to feel that it was getting dark and blurry around her. Afterwards, I can't remember anything. Well, maybe there was someone who was kind enough to take me here. I took out my phone to check the time. And when I saw it, it turned out that the bell was going to ring within 5 minutes and it was time to go home. I haven't even got permission from my teacher yet.
I quickly got out of bed and rushed to my class. Alas, once I arrived in front of the class… the bell rang. All the students in my class went out to go home. Coincidentally, after a few students left, there was Ms. Lina who had just got out of my class.
"Sorry ma'am, I didn't attend class earlier." I said to her.
"Oh, no problem... you got sick, it's better to get some rest first at the School Health Unit." Hearing that, it made me smile in surprise.
"Excuse me, Ma'am. But how do you know that I was there?" I asked perplexedly.
"Ohhh ... a student came to class and told me." Her answer made me curious about the person who helped me. Why was the person so kind to me?
"Aah well, Ma'am. Thank you then...." Afterwards, she went past me in a haste. I went straight to the class to get my bag. And when I went over my seat, it turned out that my bag wasn't there.
"Hey Nerd... what are you looking for?" Angel asked with her friends following behind.
"...." I just ignored her and kept looking for my bag under the desk and somewhere else.
"Hahaha, poor you... Well, I'll tell you, you must be looking for your worn-out bag, right? I just happened to see your bag flying into a tree branch." Hearing that, it made my eyes widened.
"Where is it?" I asked in a slightly panicked.
"Well... just try, I already told you earlier. Anyway, it's on a tree branch... Okay, good luck on looking, bye Nerd...." Afterwards, she went out of the classroom with her friends following behind. I rushed into the bacRynnard of the school to check whether my bag was there or not. I went there because there were many shady trees that might be an exact place for Angel and her gangs to put my bag.
