JORDAN'S P. O. V
Something was wrong somewhere. Just who was that guy?. I didn't call Philip because I didn't want him thinking that I was going insane. I'm not by the way, I just want to get things straight.
It was Michael's idea for me to go to the crime scene. He alone knew I was there. Who am I going to trust anyways? Everything was currently going slowly but steadily, leaving my hands like sand through my fingers; slowly but steadily.
Of course Michael couldn't know about what happened. It was just a random thought right?. Wasn't it?.
"Hey honey, you're not going to work today?." Michael asked.
"No... I'm supposed to go see Linda at the hospital today." I replied rubbing my head in a slow rythm. It still hurt.
"You look sick."
"No I don't Michael."
"Mummy!." Screamed Pheonix from the door taking me away from Michael's radar. I know he was just being concerned, but that was not the kind of thing I needed right now.
"My little bundle of joy how are ya?. Ready for school?."
"Yes mummy...Erm...mummy?"
"Yes, yes Pheonix." I said knowing he was about to ask for something. his eyes had this glitter that was always difficult to ignore. It only made me love him more.
"Mummy!...how do you know me so well huh?." He said amidst laughter, the only sound that brought me joy since the beginning of this case.
"I know you so well because I am your mummy." I said raising my hands up, amusedly.
"Can my friends come over?."
"Friends huh?."
"Yes mummy, pretty please with a cherry on a milkshake please?." He begged, using his adorable eyes to his advantage.
"Well, how can I say no to my little king?. You can have your friends over if your room is clean by today's end. If not, that giant monster in your room could scare heaven's daylight out of them and they'll call you trashboy." I said while stifling a laugh at my silliness.
"Yes mummy. Okay mum. Thank you so much!." He said, hugging me.
"You're welcome honey. Now let's go to the car. It's time for school." I whispered softly in his ear, stroking his pretty head.

*LINDA'S POV*
My body was slowly recovering. Whatever that man had been injecting me had some very strong effects on my body. I wasn't healing yet. At the same time, I wasn't suffering either. The only improvement was the bandage being turned to a small stich just off the corner of my eye . Apart from that, nothing else.
Jordan hasn't even come to see me yet. I wondered why I even trusted her in the first place.
"Good morning Linda." A doctor who had astonishingly bright eyes greeted warmly. He looked different from the other one who came to see me when I regained consciousness.
"Who are you?.... I haven't seen you before." I said, suddenly becoming alert and confused.
"I'm very sorry, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Grey, the doctor who did your surgery when you were alright two months ago." He explained.
There was nothing credible in his explanation that told me to trust him. Gordon could have put him here to finish me off before the jury gets a wind of this.
"Hello..?." He said waving at me, breaking my train of thoughts.
"Yes...I...eh...thank you very
much."
"It's ok. It's my job. You were quite delicate when you came in. I understand that you cannot really remember everything whatever..."
"It's whoever." I corrected, noticing the strange look on his face.
"Sorry?."
"Nevermind. What were you saying?."
"Whatever hit you had affected your brain in diverse ways and it also affected your memories or some part of it."
"You do know that I'm a nurse right?, Doctor Grey?." I interrupted.
The surprise on his face was pronounced which meant they hadn't found out were I worked, or my daily routine. Was Gordon doing this to save his sorry ass?. Yet again, if he didn't want to be known or discovered why would he send an assassin to eliminate me?.
"That's very surprising."
"My kids?."I asked strictly, cutting straight the point. He shrugged and looked at me dead in the eyes.
"They're dead."

*JAMAICA*
Jack, the head of the Ghosts looked angrier each passing minute. Anyway, he wasn't the kind to always be calm in tasking situations, which was one of the reasons he never found his soulmate.
"Where is Gordon!?. How could he do such without reasoning with me first!?. Does he think this is all a joke?. The Ghosts didn't just appear anyhow and now the Spiders think this is war!. We are not fighting them, but they think we are. And you!?" He spat pointing at the secretary, "do you know where Gordon is?."
"No sir." He replied sharply.
"Find him. Now!."

*ITALY*
"Boss?, Jack wants to see you, he said we should be expecting a war from the other clans."
"I knew it. That bloody bastard!. book a flight!. We're going to Mexico!."
"Let's not make rash decisions sir. I say we meet with Jack first. We don't have enough men to start a war." The take was visible all over his body before finally heaving a sigh, the Boss announced.
"We're going to Jamaica."

*MINNEAPOLIS*
ANONYMOUS POV
The hospital was just a few blocks away from my office. It wasn't so difficult to walk to, even with my leg problems. I'm getting quite old for all this, but what can I do?. I can't run from death or aging.
"Good day can I see anyone of the doctors around?. It's a little bit of an emergency." I asked smiling weakly.
"Yes, sure. Your name ma'am?."
"That's isn't really necessary. I just want to see your doctor I'm not applying for a job or surgery."
"Ok ma'am, I'll see if the doctor is free." The nurse said, flashing me a brief smile.
"Thank you." Was all I replied before taking a seat on the sofa without being asked to. Linda staying in the hospital was already enough to brutally scatter all my thoughts without questions.
"You may see the doctor." The nurse announced, coming back after a few minutes.

*GREY'S POV*
The nurse sounded worried when she called my phone, saying an old lady would like to consult me, and that she didn't want to give a name. I told her to bring the person in.
"Good afternoon doctor. I'm sorry for disturbing you, but it's urgent."
"Yes come in." I replied, pointing towards the chair for her to sit down. When she came in, she seemed to be in her late 50's. With a scarf wound around her neck, she reeked of Italian blood.
"I need to see Linda Carmichael. It's an emergency." She said wringing her hands together.
"Why?. Is anyone threatening you?." I asked out of concern. She looked scared.
"No, but I still need to see Linda."
"About what?."
"Her innocence...I'm sorry but I can't tell you more than that."
"But you do realize that I'm not supposed to let you in neither is she allowed to have visitors."
"I know that, I just need your help it's for her sake."
Her eyes seemed serious and emotional but, after my encounter with the man from earlier, I don't think Linda was safe with anyone.
"I'm sorry....I just can't let you meet her now it's not allowed."
Sighing in defeat she said, "It's ok..please give her this for me." squeezing a folded paper into my hands.
Today was indeed one of those weird days in my life.
