Walking up the stairs didn't feel normal anymore, didn't feel like i was walking into my own house rather it felt like I was imposing in on someone's else's property. When did like become like this. I wasn't happy lieing to Michael but I didn't feel like telling him the truth would benefit me and Rian appearing out of nowhere still knowing Michael was all the more confusing and annoying. I couldn't tell Lillian about all this because it would piss her off. And then i would have to start explaining my dark past to her. and besides she just got her own boat of troubles brewing, compared to her my problems are just a tip of the iceberg.
"Babe" Michael said standing right in front of me holding two trash bags one in each hand. Before I realised that I was just standing at the door like a confused stranger.
"Sorry" I whispered and stepped aside for him to pass before I properly took note of what was in his hand and gave him a warning and inquisitive look at the same time.
