Chapter 35

Time was already far spent before we decided to sleep and here I was waking up to the most beautiful sunrise I think I might have seen. The harsh sun rays taking their peek through the light cream curtains in the room. Michael had always wanted blinds instead of curtains but I opposed the idea and sneakily bought this curtain. I could still remember the shocked expression on his face when he came back from work. I chuckled silently at the remembrance of that day.

As I turned to face him the sun was only doing it's good as it moved along the movement of the curtains on Michael's face and his breathing. The rising and falling of his chest which had light brown hair sprawled all over it. I wanted to touch them again but he seemed so peaceful asleep I was scared I might wake him up.
