It was just another day at my high school until an accidental encounter led to the demise of the Demon Lord. Yes, I'm responsible for that. Now, I find myself bound to him, burdened with an outrageous task that only a madman would consider.

My dreams of becoming the strongest Hunter Monarch, equipped with the finest system, and uncovering the whereabouts of my missing father, will have to be set aside for now. My current priority is to rid the world of Demon-possessed humans.

My name is Jin Wrack, and at the mere age of 17, I bear an immense responsibility. This ordeal will unfold as a battle royale, or rather, a 'Hunters Royale,' pitting me and my allies against the rest of the world.

The outcome is uncertain. Will I emerge victorious, or will the combined might of my enemies overwhelm me? Only time holds the answer.

Hunters Royale

The voice said and it seemed to stifle its chuckle. 


Bauer's eyes widened at the words, but it was just the beginning as the voice inside his head, his Master, had something more to say. 


"Kekek, The same boy from 17 years ago, who was rescued by The Copy Phantom..." 


The unidentified voice went off as Bauer completely lost the life in his eyes. 


Jin, who was trying to hold off the angry man before him noticed the sudden awakening of his attacker. 


His eyes opened wide as he saw the man mumble something and move his hand towards his forehead and pierce his fingers into the space in the very middle, between his grey eyebrows, and pull out something which was covered in blood which oozed both from the open self made wound and the piece of material which the mysterious man pulled out. 


The Attacker's eyes were white, literally white, without anything in the very middle. His irises had succumbed and drifted back to his eye sockets. 


But oddly, the man before him, William, whose name he had yet to know, was still giving him the death glare. 


It was as if he wasn't alarmed by the intense killing intent the man behind them was giving off. 


He only shook when the man behind them suddenly began laughing and enunciate ambiguous words which were a blur to him. 


"I am going to break past my limits kekek" 


Bauer laughed, spreading his hands and throwing his head back towards the sky. 


Delo spoke just as Jin ran his eyes at his attacker. 


Jin replied with his thoughts just as he heard the demon lord speak. 


Jin's eyes widened as he heard what the demon lord had said. His two broad eyes traced his attacker and they trembled when he witnessed the supernatural event taking place before his eyes. 


Bauer's neck was completely encompassed with bulging veins that were red. The change was gradual, but Jin had confirmed one thing. 


His attacker... He was slowly morphing into something, but he was sure that it was not human. 


The red veins broke through his clothes and slowly began to veil his body. His hands were completely covered in throbbing veins and the rest of his body as well were being surrounded, but the caching was slow. 


Jin, who was appalled at the events taking place before his eyes, had completely ignored the existence of William, who was no more before him. 


"The power... it's happening!!... Come forth... My Demon" 


Bauer stuttered as he slowly began losing his speech. 


"That... kid I wanted... to relish... 17 years ago..." 


"I... will gouge... your eyes out... and then... I will... slice open your... throat... and then I will f..." 


A sudden flash of light was followed by the destruction of the wrecked alleyway. 


This time, no debris remained, and instead of the cracked alleyway floor, a crater existed in which a body laid still. 


And before that body was a tall man, whose back stood straight and mighty. 


He had slammed Bauer down with such might that the alleyway skipped galaxies. 


"Land your hit when your enemy trash talks" 


"Now wake up Old man, That was a weak one.." 


Guys, the following chapters, at least 2 of them will be short like this. This is because of some technical, more like a story related problem. Hope you understand and support me. The chapters after the upcoming 2 chapters will be long like usual. So that was it. Hope you are liking it.
