William said with a menacing grin.

"Now wake up Old man, That was a weak one.."

Jin, who witnessed the sudden storm of a punch which the man before him landed, gasped. Not even in the wildest of his dreams has he imagined William, whose name he had yet to figure, to be this powerful.

The moment when he landed his kick on William was when he truly understood how powerful he was.

Jin began to think that the kick which he had landed on William with all of his power had not actually broken his skull.

But he denied it with a no. He was sure that he felt and heard the cranium breaking down under his heel.

But then how did he survive?.

That was when Jin's eyes widened.

His memory soon acted up and took him to the moment which had occurred just minutes before.

He was beginning to remember.

His vision took him back to some minutes ago. There he saw the cloak donned man, glaring at him and radiating an enormous amount of killing intent.

"Why?"

"Why do you have my ability??"

He spoke.

'Why do I have his ability?'

Jin marveled as the memory stopped. It took two seconds for him to reanalyze what he had witnessed.

When he repeated the words spoken by the tall and stout man, his brain began to pump out theories.

It was then when he truly realized the reason behind those words.

Jin, who was remembering the sudden flash of memory had already begun to put two and two together.

'He asked why I had his skill'

Jin's thought had begun to refine his theory.

'I received it because I touched... I kicked him while activating the second persona!'

He thought.

'The system said, that the target stats were powerful, which eventually made it take time in finishing the copying of his skills'

Jin's thought ran in the background as he traced his eyes at the man before him and the body slumped beside him.

'And it got completed just a minute ago, so due to the skill is why my leg is healed!'

He thought.

'Oh God, this was so obvious, how did I miss this??'

Jin ground his teeth, stopping himself from mumbling out his thoughts.

'That aside. It now means that I have his power!!, his skill!!'

His thought progressed to the extent that his heartbeat arose in a melody of excitement.

'Which is called (Supreme Regeneration), and it's a passive skill, which means I don't have to toggle it to utilize it'

He thought.

'Then, logically, it was just because of that skill of his that he was able to survive my kick at 100% of my current power'

Jin computed.

'But the regeneration speed of the skill is not at all the same as compared to the other regenerative skills I have heard about'

Jin's thought this time had finally pointed out a visible complication.

'Don't tell me...'

His heart skipped a beat as his thoughts succumbed to his anxiety.

He still had not read the following tabs, because his current attention was on and only on the word which was gleaming in the blackest of the color between the whitest of the texts.
