Ch. 605 Beyond the fog

The trip back to the small flying boat's landing location was carried out at a double time pace. Not quite a light jog, but faster than a comfortable walking pace. It was the fastest pace they were capable of moving at considering that the witches had to push away the fog constantly.

Otherwise they would not be able to see the ground beneath their own feet, let alone where they were going. Thankfully the explorers could take over the vine cutting task when they wondered off the original path slightly.

As they reached the small air ship, Rosebud and the others responsible for scattering the fog were running on fumes. Only those that had been tasked with the defense of the group had it easy. It was little more than a brisk walk in the forest for them as nothing suddenly jumped out of the fog and attacked them.
