We stared at each other, our eyes locked in amazement and wonder in the middle of 'Chen's Meat Buns' the smoky meat smell infused with sweaty and gruelling heat was wiped away with her sweet fragrance, the meat filled aroma swept away. Her dazzling eyes shimmering in the cheap fluorescent lights. Her hand reached up, the soft, smooth hand mesmerizing me as it came down on my cheek. The hand slapping through my face with a cathartic ear-splitting slap. My eyes dropped with pain, the rushing feeling of reality drop-kicking me again. But through that despair were two solitary arms, their small frame pushing through mine, gripping me around the stomach.
"You stupid asshole!"
"Hey Psy… been a while, huh?"
"I hate you, you rage-quit? Fucking dickhead how could you not even speak to me after six months, you quit school, the game even left home, do you know how worried I was?"
"Haha, yeah…"
We walked out of the shop, the bell dinging on the way out, and she practically dragged me to the park, pulling my arm the whole way.
"What are you doing?" I finally spoke to break the awkward march.
"Dragging you back to Ellie, she's been worried sick. So much happened, a charity funded her to go to a posh genius school, she became a ranker in LSO trying to find you."
"But she's ok right?"
"Like you care."
I stopped her small arm tugging mine with futility, "she's ok right?"
"...yeah she's fine."
"And she likes the new school?"
"Of course,"
"Hah, I'm glad. I have to go though, I have work in an hour. Bye"
I turned, my hands gripping into the meat bun and pressing forward.
"LEE!!!" the voice shouted through my ears, screeching slashing through my head and making me drop the bun.
"What the hell!" I turned around to see Psy her head pressed against me. "You can't leave,"
"Doesn't matter, I can't do this any more, I can't live my life playing games going to school, fuck I can't live any way."
"Then… it doesn't matter, what are you working for? Why are you working? Just let go with me,"
"Because there is no charity, that's just how I get paid I have to…"
"But why can't you play too? I need you."
"It doesn't matter, I deleted it…"
"YOU WHAT?!?!?!?!?"
"It doesn't matter what I do… I'm stuck, so I need to stop looking for an escape."
"No."
"What do you mean? You can't make me."
"Watch me."
