ALWAYS

(HOSEOK POV)

I sat on the stretcher, my knee's bleeding. I fell trying to make fire balls in my practice class. Mrs Choi said it would be funny to start with something light, because it's my first year. My classmate, Seokjin, did everything right, but he's older, I really admire him.

"Please, wait here for a second, I'll be right back." The doctor said. She's always sweet to me, I think I'm in love.

"What happened to him?" I asked. A boy, who looks older than me, even though I can tell I'm higher, is lying a few meters away from me.

"Mmm," She put her hand on her chin, "He fainted."

"Really? Why? He hit his head or something?" I asked, opening more my eyes. Fuck, I prefer my bleeding knee.

"You ask a lot of questions, Hoseokie." She chuckled.

"Sorry, ma'am, I'm just bored."

"I'll be right back to take care of your wound." I nodded, watching her leave the room.

I looked at the sleeping boy. He didn't have anything in his head nor in his face. I stand up. Walking on one foot, I stand next to the boy. I explored his face, I've never seen him before. It's definitely older. Mmm, maybe he's also a fairy. Or could he be an angel? Or a mermaid? Mmm.

"What the heck are you doing?" I heard a voice speak near my face. The boy has his eyes open, his lips are a fine line. I screamed.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I was just looking for wounds, the doctor said you fainted." I said, nervously,  trying to hold myself in the stretcher. I really thought I would end up on the floor.

He sat up on the bed, looking at me from head to toe. He hummed. I gave him a friendly smile, trying not to show how scared I am. He didn't say anything. I looked at him, again. His face was too pale, he has dark circles under his eyes.

"Are you sure you fainted? You look as you were sick." I honestly said.

He scoffed. "Maybe because I am sick."

"Really? What do you have? A headache? You caught a cold? Uh, take care, it's not even winter yet." He scoffed, again.

"You're too innocent to understand it, newbie." He closed his eyes, his face facing the ceiling.

"I'm not that innocent. And how do you know I'm a newbie?" I protested.

He didn't move. "I've never seen your face before." Mmm, fair enough.

Before I could say anything else, the doctor opened the door. She gasped when she saw me. "Jung Hoseok, what are you doing? You should be resting." She said.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to talk to him." I came back to where I should be resting. "By the way, he told me he's sick, he didn't faint."

"Uh? He's awake?" She asked, looking at the boy.

"Good afternoon, ma'am." The boy smirked. He opened his eyes.

"You should have told me you were awake, Min Yoongi. Aish, when you will learn to listen to me?" She sighed.

"The day I would probably almost die." He let out a bitter chuckle.

"Don't say that, you won't die. I won't let that happen." She said, firmly. Her head high.

"Tell me one reason I should be alive, huh? There's nothing to fight for." He doesn't care if he dies? I would be terrified, considering that we're immortal.

"Happiness."

"Huh?" He looked at me, raising his eyebrows.

"I said 'happiness'. Don't you want to be happy?" I said, raising my eyebrows. What's wrong with him?

"Who told you I don't wanna be happy?"

"Well, you literally don't care if you die and you seem not to find something to lean on, to rely on. Don't you've family, friends, pets-"

"No, I don't. Not everyone lives in a fairy tale, Hoseokie." He spat.

"My life isn't a fairy tale, I also have problems, but I don't let the darkness get to me." I crossed my arms.

"How beautiful." He rolled his eyes, his voice full of sarcasm.

"You're just weak." I whispered.

"Okay, enough you two."

We didn't speak again, once the doctor healed my wound, I left. I could notice him staring at me. Maybe he wasn't really happy, maybe I should help him.

*

It's been two weeks since I met, Mingi? I don't remember exactly his name. I talked with Stella, the nice doctor, she told me he was recovering from something, she didn't tell me what.

I entered into the recovery room. I saw him lying on a bed, I don't understand how this will help him heal. I approached him, I'm sure he's awake.

"Hello, Mingi." I said. He opened his eyes, looking me with a frown.

"Who the hell is Mingi? And what the hell are you doing here again?" Fuck. He has to be cold always or what?

"You?" I raised an eyebrow. He scoffed.

"I'm Yoongi. Min Yoongi." Oh. I understand now. "You didn't answer my question, newbie."

"My name isn't newbie." I mocked. "I'm Hoseok. Jung Hoseok."

"You still didn't answer my question and I don't like to wait." I frown.

"I came here to help you, but your sassy ass is not collaborating." He raised his eyebrows, surprised.

"You came here to help me?" I didn't notice dark vibes in his voice, as if it was the first time being himself.

"Yeah, you aren't okay. I don't know what's wrong with you, but I want to help you. At least to your mood, you're so grumpy." He scoffed at my truth.

"And you're annoying." He said.

"You find me annoying because I can see the beautiful things in this life? Because I believe in happiness?"I asked in disbelief. He nodded.

"There's nothing beautiful in this life, not even in the human world." I felt shivers down my spine when he mentioned the human world. I don't like it either.

"I agree. Human world is a pain in the ass." I sighed. "But look, we've something in common."

"Yeah, what you say." He rolled his eyes.

"Why don't you like this life? It's beautiful. White in the morning, yellow in the afternoon, orange in the evening and black in the night. It's just perfect, this life is perfect."

"Anything is perfect, Hoseok." He sighed.

"Why are you so pessimistic?" He only rolled his eyes.

I paid attention to him for the first time since I arrived. He had a tube connected to his arm, water in it. His face looks better than the other day, but his dark circles are still there.

"Do you have depression?" I said, putting my hands on my lips. Oh fuck. I shouldn't have said it.

"Took you long enough. Now, what are you doing here? Go outside or something." He kept facing the ceiling.

I can't help but feel bad for him. What happened to him in the past? Why is he sad? Why he doesn't enjoy the little things? Why he wants to die? Why he's alone? He doesn't have anyone? Well, no. Now he has me, I've to help him. That will be my first mission as a red fairy. Wait, that has nothing to do with it. Anyway, I've to do something.

"I'll help you." I said, raising my head.

"Huh?"

"I'll help you, I'll be your friend." I looked at him in the eyes. "Now you've something to fight for. Me." I said, putting my hand on my chest. He chuckled.

"You're so funny, Hoseokie. But why do you think you can help me?"

"Because I'm the sun and you're... well, you're just a grey cloud, but don't worry, because I'll warm you for you. I'll give you the love you deserve."

He laughed.

"I know you don't believe me, but let me try at least." I pleaded.

"What you say, newbie." He put his hands behind his head. "But let me tell you something, I'm a lost cause, sunshine. Don't get too  attached to me." He closed his eyes again.

I'll do it. I know I can do it. I'll save you, Min Yoongi.

(NAMJOON POV)

PRESENT DAY

Yesterday I couldn't see Seokjin as much as I wanted to, but Jimin and Taehyung were finally fine, Jimin told me what happened last night. That made me miss Jinnie more, that's why I decided to bring him on a night date today.

We ate pasta in an Italian restaurant that, in the mall's school,  it was delicious. Jin enjoyed it so much.

We were walking near the river, the moon was shining brightly, the perfect place to give him my gift.

"Jinnie, close your eyes." I said, when we stopped walking to enjoy the views.

"Why?" He asked.

"Just do it." He gave me a weird look, but he did so.

"Now open your hands." I put a little white box in his hands. "You can open your eyes now."

"What is this?" He said, looking at me, then back to the box.

"Open it." I smiled.

He opened the box. He grabbed the necklace. "What's this Joonie?"

"Don't you see?  A necklace." I laughed.

"I know, but why is this for?"

"What do you think dummy?" He paid more attention at the necklace.

"Joonie, it's an angel. It's beautiful, baby. Thank you." He jumped, embracing my waist with his legs.

"Don't cry, little prince." I caressed his hair before he put his feet in the ground.

"I'm not crying." He hit my chest, playfully. "It's really beautiful Namjoon. Can you put it for me?" He gave me the necklace. I put it on. I gave him a kiss on his cheek before pulling away. It looks beautiful on him.

He touched it with hi fingers. "Now I'll have you always with me."

"Always, love." I cup his cheeks.  I looked at his eyes, I can't believe how I can see my world in his eyes.

*

I laid him on the bed. I looked a at his eyes for a few seconds before connecting our lips. He soon opened his mouth, letting my tongue in. I win, as always. I caressed his cheeks with my thumbs, I'll go easily with him today. I moved to kiss his neck, he started moaning softly when I sucked his sweet spot.

I took off his shirt, his hair got messy. He looks so damn hot. I smirked. He rested his head in the pillow. I placed kisses on his collarbone, making my way to his right nipple. I sucked and bit it. "Ngh~ Joonie~" He kept moaning my name, a perfect melody to my ears.

Soon all our clothes were off.

"Without condom, Joonie." Jin said.

"Are you sure, baby?"

"It's not like I'll get pregnant or something." He giggled.

"I know, but what if I've something? I don't want to cause you any problem."

He cupped my face. "Joonie, you're clean. Just let me feel you." He whined the last words and I giggled.

I throw away the condom. I entered him, slowly. I waited until he was ready, well, until he got impatient.

I made love to him, slowly. He wanted me to go rough on him, but today isn't the day for that. I wanted to show him how much I love him, how he's my everything.

He cumed all over our chests. I cumed after, filling his little hole. He moaned at the feeling.

After getting both of us cleaned, we cuddled.

I caressed his back.

"I love you, Joonie." He said, resting his head on my chest.

"I love you more, Jinnie. I don't know what would I do without you."

"You'll never know, because I'll be always by your side."

"Always?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Always."

I raised his head with my fingers. "I'll never let anything happen to you. I promise. I'll always protect you, even if it's with my own life."

"Don't say that, I don't want to live in a world where you aren't in it. If you die, I'll die, too." He stated.

"Then you don't try to protect my life either, because if you die, I die, too." I kissed him.

"That's not fair, I'll do anything for you." He protested. I chuckled.

"Let's not think about it, baby. You'll always be safe in my arms." He hugged me tightly.

"You can't even imagine how much I love you, really Joonie."

I kissed his forehead. "Maybe we should get married one day." I said, giggling.

His cheeks were slightly pink. "One day, Joonie." He kissed my chest.

"Sweet dreams, my little prince."

"Sweet dreams, my angel."
