MAPS OF SEOUL

(TAEHYUNG'S POV)

I open an old Notebook I found yesterday night in my room. The pages are yellow, turning slightly brown. Even if my chaotic relationship with Jimin these days didn't let me act, think and sleep straight, I didn't forget why we're here in the first place.

I realise our people have more serious problems, we've more serious problems, actually, and the only thing I did these past few days is cry over a boy and hurt myself to feel better.

I want to be their hero, even if I'm still fighting with myself. Therefore, it's a good idea to go for a walk to the places Red Men's people might be. We need to do something before it's all over.

I open a digital map on my phone. In action films, all the bad things happen in deserted factories. There's always the possibility one of them is their reunion corner. If I'm lucky enough, maybe I can find them in the act.

I pack the notebook with all the names I found. There're only three, it isn't as easy as I thought looking at every street of Seoul. I also put another jacket, I don't intend to stay there all night, I'm going to be back before dinner time. Last but not least, I put some of the money Namjoon gave me yesterday to buy a snack for the journey.

I walk towards the kitchen to find if we've some cookies, but it's empty, there's only instant ramen. As I'm going to let a message in the air for someone to buy proper food for dinner, Jimin's words disrupt me.

"Where are you going?" He looks at the bag with wide eyes.

"We've a mission. remember? I'm going to find those bastards."

"Do you have a place in mind?" He gets near, with a frown. "I want to help, can I come?"

I bite my lower lip. Being with him alone for a long time seemed like a dream before. My stomach makes noises, I don't know if I'm ready, but I nod anyway. "I think it's better than being alone."

"It is, Taehyung." His smile reaches his eyes. "Do I need to pack something?"

"We'll be here before dinner, but grab some of your money and warmer clothes. It's still cold outside."

"Yes, Capitan!" He puts his hand on his forehead, as a sailor. He leaves and I stay alone in the kitchen.

Silly Jimin.

(JIMIN'S POV)

To be honest, I didn't expect Taehyung to accept me. I decided to bring my bag, and stole one of the aid kids. I learnt to be always prepared and I feel proud of myself because this is something Namjoon would do.

"So, where are we going?"

"Deserted factories, they may be there."

"Oh god, did you think about going there alone?" Taehyung shrugs, getting into the convenience store. "It can be dangerous if you go alone. In abandoned factories Red Men isn't the only dangerous thing. You're lucky I saw you before you go." I whisper.

"I know how to protect myself." He says, looking at the rice balls.

"I know, but I worry about you."

"I know." He grabs two. "Do you want something special to drink?"

"Water's fine."

Taehyung pays for the food. We bought four rice balls - two for me, two for him -, two bottles of water and two chocolate energy bars.

"I think it's better to go to the first one, first."

I laugh. "Yeah, makes sense. How many have you found?"

"Three, but I know there's more. Tomorrow I'm going to look at the map again and search for other areas. I started for the north first."

I nod. "But, you know there's a thing called Internet, right? You can just search them there."

"I-I know," He begins. "But I wanted to find them myself, Internet doesn't have the answers for everything. What if the one they use doesn't show up?"

I hold back my laugh. "You've always had special ways to do your things."

"That's because I'm special." He says.

"I know."

He opens slightly his mouth, but he looks away immediately. I know he's just pretending to read the different store names, that we are slowly getting behind. I don't, though. My eyes can only stay focused on his reddish side-cheek.

(YOONGI'S POV)

I keep staring at my phone, bored without anything to do. I keep checking my notifications, but nobody is talking to me.

15:30, February 17th.

I gasp. I've totally forgotten about Hoseok's birthday. I didn't buy him anything, he doesn't even have a cake.

I go to the living room, wondering if someone has something planned. The living room is empty, as always. I scratch my head, we should spend more time together. A soft gold light catches my attention, there's a message written in the air.

"Buy dinner, something delicious. Thank you. Jimin and I will be back soon :) By the way, it's Taehyung."

I chuckle. Taehyung looks like a little kid stuck in a teenager body.

Since anyone is around, I'll go to buy dinner by myself in the supermarket. I'm going to buy Hoseok's cake as well in a bakery. He loves strawberries, I think it will be perfect if I get him a Japanese Strawberry Shortcake.

I leave the flat yelling "Goodbye!" But nobody answers. We may have become ghosts, too.

It's snowing slightly, one snowflake falls on top of my nose. I smile, gently rubbing it off, but it melts instantaneously. I shake my head before getting in, my hair's half wet.

(NAMJOON'S POV)

I embrace my thighs near my chest, leaning on the bed. Tears and more painful tears roll down my cheeks. I don't believe any single word he said, but it still hurts, it hurts a lot. I'll find a way to talk to him, I know he still loves me. I know he does. He's still wearing the necklace I gifted him.
