(SEOKJIN'S POV)
The men leave when we arrive. The dim light coming from outside doesn't let me appreciate the house as much as I would in the daylight. The door and the windows are made of wood and it has a balcony. The walls built with the same material, but if I'm not mistaken, they're painted in white.
Namjoon opens the door, and it creaks. We get in and he closes the door, using the key the king gave him before we left.
A big lamp, with candles in it, hangs from the ceiling. Two more candles are placed in a wooden table and there's a sofa, near the small fireplace. It's dark, but lightened enough for us to see and walk without falling and breaking a leg.
"This place sucks." Jimin grumbles.
"You want to go home, right? Then get used to this." Namjoon howls.
He goes upstairs without saying anything else. I don't know what's gotten into him, but I'm going to worry about that later. Now I've another thing to do.
"I'm hungry. There's nothing in the kitchen."
I turn myself to look at Jimin. The small kitchen is on the right side of the living room.
"I think we've something left in the bag." Yoongi says, placing it on the table.
While Jimin eats a pack of cookies, I walk to the sofa. Jungkook and Taehyung are sitting on it, looking at his feet.
"Hey, do you like the new house?" I say, sitting on the floor.
"There's nothing new. This place's scary." Jungkook whispers.
"I thought you weren't afraid of anything." I tease him, but he doesn't change his facial expression.
I clear my throat. "Well. . . I know you know what I want to talk about with you. What you did was wrong - no, dangerous. You could have gotten yourself in trouble, you could have been hurt. This place's no joke guys, you've to be careful."
"Then why can't we stay in our flat in Seoul? I don't like this house neither, what if the couple comes and kill us?" Taehyung looks at me with puppy eyes.
"No one's going to kill you, less a ghost." I say.
They nod, but I they're still playing with his hands.
"I'm sorry," Taehyung mumbles. "It's all my fault. I forced Jungkook to come with me. I just wanted to see why Jimin dislikes Second Sun. You didn't need us there, anyway. Namjoon's the brain and you're the prince, you don't need us."
"We do need you. Our world needs you. I understand how you feel and I'm relieved nothing happened to you, but. . ."
"Is Namjoon hyung mad at us? He stormed out and didn't come back." Jungkook bites his lips.
I shake my head. "I'm going to talk to him, don't worry."
They nod.
"Promise you won't do it again. No, promise you won't do it without telling anyone where you're going. Okay?"
"We promise." They say at the same time.
* * * * *
I knock on the last door, before opening it. Namjoon's looking out the window, resting his arms on the frame.
"Babe, are you alright?" I say, gently.
He turns his head to look at me. "What did they say?"
"They understood and promised to not do it again. They were excited to see more about this world, it's their first time, after all. Besides, they're not babies. I told them to let someone know if they go out alone."
He nods.
"You should close the window, it's cold." I state. "I think it's a good time to remember that we only have a few blankets and a few candles to keep us warm."
I finally shift to my human form. Today was one of the most tiring days of this week. I moan in relief, feeling more than comfortable with my sweatshirt and sweatpants on.
"I'm lucky those are the last clothes I used." I say, laying on the bed. I cover all my body with the blankets.
But Namjoon's still looking out the window.
He didn't close it.
He sighs, shaking his head.
I groan. "What's wrong, Joonie? Can't you just let it pass?"
"No. This is important, Jin. We can't mess up."
"I know it and so do they." I frown. "Do you mind closing the window? Your boyfriend's freezing." I turn around, focusing on the candle next to the bed.
I hear the sound of the window getting closed and the two pieces of wood after it with a click.
But I don't hear Namjoon's footsteps.
Only silence.
The room is a few shakes darker than before and, somehow, it feels colder.
(YOONGI'S POV)
Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook are staying in the living room. Hoseok and me can keep the last room upstairs.
There's only two rooms and one small bathroom, that doesn't look like one. I don't know how the hell are we going to survive here. It sucks, it doesn't have the cleanliness it's supposed to have. I'm going to be surprised if we've breakfast tomorrow.
"We've to share the bed." Hoseok says, putting on his hood.
I groan. I've a sweater and jeans. I don't want to sleep with my jeans on, it's so uncomfortable. I should have put on something more comfortable.
"What's wrong? Is it a big deal for you to share a bed?"
"What? No. I just want to take off my jeans."
"Then do it. I've seen you in boxers before." He shrugs, walking around the small room.
He looks through the window for a few seconds. He walks away to inspect the walls, the bed and the only closet in the room.
"Did you?" I raise an eyebrow.
He opens it, ignoring my question. He tiptoes to grab something on the top.
"We've more blankets, look! You won't be cold."
"Then, if you don't mind," I take off my belt and I let it fall to the wooden floor. I don't doubt the three little monsters have heard the sound of the metallic piece hitting against it. My jeans roll down my legs, but I place them on a small chair.
Hoseok's already in bed, looking at the window. I can only see his brunette hair and a white bulge.
I run to the bed and I put myself under the covers, quickly. It's comfortable, not as much as the one in Seoul or Third Heaven, but still acceptable. I look at the ceiling, at the candle and at Hoseok.
"Do we have to blow the candle?" I whisper.
"Yeah. I don't want to die burnt, thanks."
I roll my eyes and blow it, as I am closer to it. I can smell the smoke, but it fades away after a few seconds.
"Hobi."
He hums.
"I just remembered. . . I won't be able to talk with Charles until we get back to Seoul or Third Heaven."
"Well, he knows we're here. If he's smart enough, he knows that there's no such thing as wifi or other technologies in here."
"But I didn't tell him we arrived."
He turns to look at me. "You didn't?"
"I wasn't expecting to arrive today."
He sighs. "Send him a smoke letter, it's not a big deal."
"Uh- you're right. I didn't think about it." I say to myself, and I can swear Hoseok rolled his eyes.
"Good night, Yoongs."
"Night," I lean on my elbows and place a quick kiss on his head. "And thanks."
I stay still for a few seconds. When I lay back, I make sure our bodies are close enough to keep us both warm.
I rest my head on his back and, without thinking it twice, I embrace him with one arm, our legs touch each other and my chest is pressed against his back.
"You're right, I'm not going to be cold tonight." I whisper, but Hoseok's already asleep.
